Also, thank you for normalizing my use of both a dual battery system AND a portable. I thought I was going a little overboard, but man it is convenient to have both hahaha.
I have the Anker the F2000 (PowerHouse 767) and I can attest that Anker stands behind their products. I had a hot/neutral reverse issue that was seen in a few of them. Contacted customer support and immediately received a shipping label. The replacement was shipped the day after I turned the defective unit in to FedEx. The replacement had no issues and I use it often for power tools in the yard and use a solar panel to recharge whenever it gets a bit low. Great product and if you are looking for a portable fridge/freezer, look at the Everfrost. I have the 53 liter version and it is awesome, even if a little bit large.
I’m so unbelievably jealous of how fast you can put up a roof tent compared to how long it takes me to put up my bed tent lol. You can put that up and take it down faster than I can just put mine up.
Dang this is a great sale! I got the Delta 2 instead because of the higher inverter and app support, but I was thinking really hard about the 757. I don't think you can go wrong with this one.
I've had my 757 (I guess they changed the name?) for about 6 months, an absolutely love it. It powers my Silvel diesel heater just fine, and, of course, my fridge, plus anything I need to charge. Half price is a screaming deal; trying to figure out what I could do with a second one! Great to meet you at OEX PNW by the way (until Matt rudely interrupted us! 🤣)...
I have one major issue with this unit. All those ports and outputs should have silicone covers or at least one full cover across them all. Here in the Middle East dust is a major issue. It gets everywhere and i can see it being a huge issue regardless of the bag cover. Batteries are also better charged slow due to heat issues . Flash charging can only punish this battery and will you be counting the cycles it lasts?
Thanks for sharing! Unfortunately, the fact that the plugs and outlets are on the wide side of the battery pack make it a no go for me. Think I’m gonna go with the Eco Flo delta 2. Makes for a more practical set up in the back of my 4runner.
How is the idle self consumption? That's the biggest problem I've found with any of these units, whether they be from Bluetti, EcoFlow, Goal Zero, Jackery, etc is that they have some seriously meh idle power draw just to run their own internal electronics. For example, my 2 bigger all in one systems like this will pull ~1-1.25A from the battery JUST from the inverter being on and not powering anything, which is honestly astoundingly shit, given my Victron draws ~0.2-0.3A at the same voltage, while being a 50% larger inverter. For us up here in the PNW, especially in the forest, that's over 150W of input (assuming I have good sun for 8 hours) I have to have to make up that idle self consumption just for the 16 hours I don't have good solar/power. I will say I'm not sad that I have them, they're certainly nice for specific things (events has been a big one for just powering a lot of stuff for an hour or two) but I'm disappointed the more expensive ones are as crappy efficiency wise as they are, given how much they're aimed at the overlanding market.
You said it will run most diesel heaters. Will it run yours? My Jackery 1500 will not run my Vevor diesel heater. The 12v outlet is rated at 10a on this unit and my Jackery as well but the Jackery will shut down when the diesel heater tries to start up. It does not draw quite 10a but the Jackery won't do it. If it will start and run my diesel heater I will replace the Jackery 1500 with the Anker.
This is rated at 10 amps too, so might not work. I've used two diesel heaters on it - one worked, one didn't. The diesel heater quality isn't great, so sometimes they pull more than the advertised amps.
@@RevereOverland Understood and thank you. I ended up going with a Bluetti AC180 for $799 on a Prime day deal. I like the form factor better and it's about 8lbs lighter. It is about 75watt hours smaller too though. It also has a wireless charger on the top and also uses the Bluetti app. Same 5 year warranty as well.

I had the same experience with the 757... Quick fix sent back....new one works fine 👍

Very Informative vid, like the way you explain things. What made you choose the Anker vs other ones like Bluetti?

They’re both great options!
Hey Revere Overland!, hope you had a great 4th of July weekend!, here in the states!👍👍✌️
Happy 4th!
The Anker power banks appear to be good pieces of kit! I’m already invested in the EcoFlow system though.
They are! I’ve never used EcoFlow, but I’ve heard great things about them.
You sure are driving the Jeep a bunch 😂. Good stuff brother

It is a great battery! They changed the name recently.
Matt’s the worst 😉

I’ve noticed over the years that your accent is becoming more American sounding.

Still a solid choice!

Not great if you leave the inverter running.
50% off!?!? By golly, that’s a lot!

She plays the switch and you don’t?
I have one, but never have the time to play it!
