Edit: I also forgot to review the ginger bread minigame. Basically my opinions for it can be the same as the boss fight in the quest, as they are super similar.
I also forgot snowballs, they are so useless I even forgot their existence.

I personally loved the event, aside from the quest, and the return of acorns.
The EXP revamp made the game itself a whole lot easier, and the removal of the damage multiplier is a change I definitely won't miss. The gifts were also pretty good, especially with the Ice Sledge being a better Rambo Knife, although I'll never forgive PR for having only 30 Christmas Vests in the Blue Gift, and not 50.
In the quests, the sleigh portion is pretty buggy, and having a lot of players in one small tunnel competing for just three chests can result in traffic jams that "total" your sleigh, rendering it unusable, resulting in you basically running a marathon for a *chance* of getting something half-decent. Skipping the trial and error part is mostly impossible for new players, for it can only be done with the Pmpkin B0t, only available for players who played since last year and had either Robux or good weapons, or players with the Boo Blast, who participated in the Halloween event, which was during the period of time when the game was (debatably) pretty boring. However, you can do specific portions with the Frost Fists and stamina items.
The boss fight? Eh. It was at it's worst in laggy clickbait VIP Servers, where they'd just use moving bullets with the speed set to "Maximum Inconvenience," which caused a lot of lag, resulting in barely anybody talking during the fight, risking a disconnect or the game just flat-out crashing, should anyone speak. The Tripod nerf made things a whole lot worse with the lack of infinite ammo. The M249, a gun which I grinded for the most but the HR weapon I use the least, was a pretty good weapon to use here. Although for most of his attacks, you oftentimes rely on luck, similar to Ducky. If the boss picks you for whoever he's gonna throw his hammer at, you're basically dead. But hey, at least it's not as punishing as Ducky is if you have an Ice Cape, and even without, still not as punishing.
The only thing that really pissed me off is the return of Acorns, and how PR still hasn't set a give command limit for them. Imagine this: A pretty large HR team with iPads in, say, SRVU on Shoot 'em up Town. The zombie team gets pretty close to killing each of them, whittling their health down until it's low, waiting for the round to end so they can get on with their lives and stop being annoyingly spawncamped. Then every survivor in the group shouts "give a" and renders the zombie team's 10 minutes of work whittling down 6 mobile survivors with P90's and Winchesters useless. Rinse and repeat for about 20 more times until the zombie team collectively leaves the server out of boredom. It's a bit exaggerated, but it's kinda true. I get that some people enjoy the Acorns, I personally do, except as a zombie. But I feel like it'd be fair for both teams to have the survivors have a "give a" limit of two per survivor, enough to heal up someone quick, although the hypothetical limit should be lifted in quests, minigames, and boss fights, due to players not ever fighting each other as zombies. But other than all of this, I totally, totally love the event, and PR is totally not holding his FATAL6 up to my head. Please send help.

Erik the gamer challenge/PR doesn’t like singleplayer farming like fox river ladder blocking. Money is sooo low to “prevent mass farming”, according to the changelog.

Hm,being a commander in gp pays off when you do events because when the gift spawns you can control who takes it,and I just took it by using commander powers,but they arent toxic because we are doing these farm events for them to get the gifts and mounts

I understand all of the criticism... I really want Toy Plane to be more consistent so I don't have to give up my Scout armor to use Flakvest; I do indeed use the bat and that's why I use the Ice Sledge; The boss was a chore to farm (took me 3 days to get the fucking Tripod, although to compensate I got all the gifts within 30-60 minutes); and even though the items (Acorn, Gingerbread, etc.) are good, I really don't want to farm the boss because it's boring and grindy. Also, Terraria music at the outro? I see you are a man of culture aswell.

Not gonna lie, this event was actually pretty fun! I actually kinda thought the quest was pretty good (minus the darn sleighs) the jumps were not that bad, and the miniboss at the end, the fish are still pretty dumb. The boss fight is pretty meh, I do prefer it over duck though. District III is a really cool map, but I tend to not play it because people never vote for it in the servers I join, the presents were ok, plane is fun, but useless, ducky is just way better, trying to land a perfect landing is pretty hard on most maps. Overall, the event is good, but I think this is gonna be the only event for a while.

Why though, I think sledge is great(except the time to get it back after thrown) .And plane? only if you are well known or the last survivor, Your gonna start flying, and if you crash? Use a flak vest or either one of the capes.
The sledge isn't bad, but it doesn't compare to the other secondaries in the game unless you don't have good ones.
As for the plane, it has a high risk high reward mechanic that I'd honestly just rather use another mount, but if you do want to risk crashing or getting killed by a zombie during take off, then you do you.
@@HugoRBLX First off holy crap you responded. Second, the only to zombies that could get you off that plane easily is digger, swarmer, and brute, its really hard to get a guy in a plane with Edgar (You have to get the player himself not the mount) and the leaper, you have to be next to him before he takes off because once he is you ain't getting to him. Third, Ice Sledge is good in PvP because it pauses the player in their tracks and gives you time to kill them (far and close) and you can even throw it below your feet if your being chased. And to be honest. How much players was playing R2DA in 2017? At least a few thousand and that was before it had 1 mil. people who played it in total. And at Last, I love ya vids.

If you don't have the ice gun and you want a freeze ability for your secondary, then the ice sledge seems like the best alternative.
But as for me, I wouldn't use them for the reasons stated.

They should make a Boss where whoever does the most damage and healing gets the reward
That would kinda force players to use miniguns and not also support why not have boss tokens for the boss where you get 1 each time you defeat the boss get 20 for the mount and 5 for the event skin crate.
