    We are going through a polar vortex in Missouri also. Hope all goes well with your trees. I cannot wait for spring to arrive.

    Actually 12 degrees sounds warm to me right now. We have been below zero for four days and nights. Tomorrow might get into the single digits then warming after that.

    That's so cold. I hope everything works out for you. And if u would consider selling one of your nursery stock maples. I would love to have one. If you even do anything like that? Thanks

      It's definitely warming up a bit now and all trees look to be in good shape but we will know if they wake up in Feb/March! 🙏 Shipping trees seems to be very expensive esp. big ones!?

      Your right about the shipping. But if u have a smaller nursery stock maple that you would like to let go of I would pay whatever the shipping cost is. Your maples are so amazing. An I hope one day I will be able to be just as half as good as you are in bonsai. But anyway thanks.

    Doesn't look as bad as down here in Camas/Vancouver area. We got hit with a bunch of snow. I recorded 11F the first day!

    As your trees are leafless, if you see any die back or dead branches would you take them off and seal or leave till spring?

    • @MomijiEn
      @MomijiEn  9 месяцев назад

      Yes I remove them but make sure I leave small stab so it won't die back further till late winter/early spring

    Hello, where did you get your wine barrels?

    • @MomijiEn

      From a local brewery who used those barrel to make barrel aged imperial stout :) it still smells good and they usually sell those around $50-75 each

    Is this unusual for your area. I don’t like the look of those chunks of ice. You did a good job saving your trees. Thank goodness your frame house didn’t get smashed by any flying debris or the wind. Ps I enjoy your videos. FYI I’m from the southern hemisphere …

      It was extra cold for sure! Most of the trees survived except for grapes.. ;(
