    I like elms, not because you are giving one away, but because in Minnesota, I have one that grows inside during the long snowy winters, but mine will take decades to be as nice as that trunk. It's beautiful, and I have a great pot for it.

      Hi it's a beautiful place. The tree was already out the ground when i got it. Seem like a boat might have uproot it. It didn't make it

    Some beautiful trees ! Yamadori is fun ive done it few times i have a couple that made it . Pines & Junipers have to be dug up at the right time . Ive had success with Desiduous trees a couple of Mountain Chokecherrys & a Aspen tree .Took them out of the ground just before the buds started to swell. Great video bro 💯

    Great Video I love to Yamadari and like you said in your video I'm not experienced enough to collect a specimen tree, it would probably die in My care.( Respect Nature brother!) I see Bonsai Tree's every where I go too. My Favorite Tree to work on is the Chinese Elm. Great Content!!

      Yes that is why i decided to not mess with them and let them be, instead of me taking them and end up not making it. The one i took wasn't going to last out in nature too little soil i think the rain was slowly washing it

    • @lifeofbonsai
      @lifeofbonsai  Год назад +1

      Tropicals yes they can be..some others as well but the after care is really important that would be for someone with more experience . End of winter is the best time

      @@lifeofbonsai Good to know for tropical plants, didn't realize it was specific to them. In fact, in Italy we usually collect native plants at the end of winter

    Did you have permission to dig on this site? This is Mineral Wells State Park in Texas, USA. It is owned and operated by the State of Texas. Digging up trees in a Texas State park is illegal.

    • @lifeofbonsai
      @lifeofbonsai  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi i recorded the trees but i did not dig any of them. I showed the potential trees. I took one that was yanked off i believe a kayak or something might have uprooted it, i also took a piece of driftwood/deadwood . No harm. I am sure all those trees recorded are still at the property 👍😁

      Taxpayers pay for state parks and if a taxpayer wants to take one of their trees home they are well within their rights
