I really love listening to Matthew Daddario speak because he showcases to us that he has really taken the time to understand Alec as a character and the role he plays in the Shadowhunter universe. Really looking forward to seeing his character develop the most on screen!

omg he is literally so cute and honestly such a good actor he seems like he understands his character very well! he's so gorgeous ugh
honestly it's refreshing to see actors put this much thought into characters... specially characters that represent me and my community bc shit usually I cringe at interviews of actors that portray gay characters on tv or film. But he seems to get "it" so sign me tf up on this show!

He is the perfect Alec Lightwood. He plays gay so good and he truly lives in his role. He will reach far in the acting world since he is already breaking boundries and he plays so good a LGBT role.
