- "It's like a Five, but more." Get onboard as I try and follow Hazzard Racing madman Joe 'Top Chief' Barnes around the awesome Wolftrax trails at Laggan on the latest version of Orange's evergreen Five.
Orange paid towards making the video and other folk sent me kit to wear so it gets a 'Paid Promotion' tag but as you'll see it's a totally honest, open and unscripted review based on raw live riding impressions and over twenty years professionally testing more bikes than anyone else on the planet.

To be frank, I’ve allways loved Orange Bikes, they are outstanding and the frames are ultra reliable, however what’s even more outstanding is your ability to ride this trail, and mentally construct and narrate this review! I’m going to keep this in my armoury to show the next woman who says men can’t multi task! Thanks Guy!
Putrifying Eagor haha, thanks mate. It was a fun one to shoot. The bit where all I actually meant to talk about was the cable routing and bottle cage placement and forgot until Joe mentioned it at the bottom was priceless though. Too caught up in the riding 🤣

New five Evo looks awesome for 2021
I rode that off piste Laggan stuff over the road on my 2018 Five back in June, it was the steepest, slipperiest, wettest, greasy rollercoaster I've ever ridden! Would love to go back and have another go in slightly drier conditions, it scared me to death!
Luckily for me it was mostly just the right side of tacky when we rode it. Must have been mental properly wet!

Still in love with the Five after 2 years, great bike. It will do pretty much anything you ask of it, a true all rounder. Found a crack in the swing arm after I'd been riding it for a year and Orange were pretty good when it came to resolving the issue. No plans to change it for while, it's mint!

Obviously I know it's built to go down but you have to get up first ha ha

How would you rate this against Orbea Occam M10 with the Fox 36 Float Factory 150 upgrade, on the fence between the 2?
Does anyone know: Is it possible to get a sprocket guard for an Orange bike?
You could get a chainring guard that fitted onto the ISCG mounts on the bottom bracket?
