The new sonic remote is from the Wand Company and it is an amazingly nice piece. I've spoken with them about their sonic and, whole it's very VERY nice, it's not meant to be a fully-accurate replica. The handle is moulded ABS plastic, but is laser-scanned from DT's personal sonic. Although, it was repainted before being given to him, so that particular pattern will only be seen in the upcoming 50th anniversary special. Their site has a full list of changes they had to make. But, yes, very nice.
I ordered mine last month, February 17, and I still haven't had any change from pending. You have to remember that this is one guy doing everything, and his quality of work is unmatched. You could see 6-8 weeks to get the thing, but it's understandable considering the load he's been under with the UE, 11th hour, and 11th sonics he's been doing.
Strangely enough you would think it doesn't sound like David's, I even thought that too at first. If you look into it further, David's sound varies in almost every episode. After all the editing for the episodes and such, the sound is going to be different than what is actually the original sound. CT actually takes the sound recordings of the series and uses them for these replicas. So it is actually David's sound, just hard to tell.
COLLECTORS: If you want a highly screen accurate model that will be as close to the actual prop as you will get and have some money to spend, get the Celestial Toystore version. It's about 411.80$ In United States dollars. REGULAR CONSUMERS: If you want something more accurate than the CO toy and don't want to spend a lot of money, get the Wand Company's version. It goes for about 99.99$ In US dollars on ThinkGeek. I have both, and they are both excellent recreations of the prop. I use the CT version for Cosplay and the WC version for my TV and appliances. DO NOT waste your time, money, and effort on the Character Options toy. It is more inaccurate than you can imagine, is built like absolute crap compared to these 2, and has terribly wrong dimensions. And a PEN and a UV light? Really CO? But seriously guys, don't go on about "ones better" or "one is cheaper'. One is more accessible, and the other is more accurate. As a wise man once said "You pay for quality"
Soundtracked Gamer you can no longer buy the WC one, and the CT ones are all sold out are at least $300. So no, you are wrong. CO or make one yourself or buy one of of etsy. And there is a simple mod that you can do to make it more accurate. First, put the 50th anniversary core part from the toy into another sonic. Then do a simple mod that a *KID* made a RUclips video on how to make the slider push the button on the core part that activates the lights and sounds.
The problem is, now that the Wand Company stopped making the screwdriver remotes for some reason, some of them are going for more than the Celestial Toystore versions!
These aren't sitting around waiting to be shipped out. It takes a long time to make each one and the painting in particular is time consuming and can take several tries to get right. If you've gotten an order in, you're lucky, because this is the last batch of these he's ever making. My advice is to just be patient. You WILL get your sonic, I assure you. And it'll be worth the wait.
So, CT has made all the sonics that he's going to, BUT, he hasn't put the last batch up for sale yet. He says that you should check his site in a week or so and they should be available around that time. Best of luck to you. It's a great piece.
I don't have an 11th hour sonic, but I can tell you that it's essentially exactly the same. The only differences are cosmetic: The color is a slight bue-ish and there's a flathead screw at the base of the slider. Other than that, it's the same exact weight, shape, functions and materials. Hope that helps.
Oh, also note that the pictures you see online of it are of the prototype with a hand-painted handle. The ABS body doesn't have a lot of pictures online.
I just got into the show, and decided to check these out. Not sure I want to spend that much right now, but maybe in the future. I have noticed that the sonic sound is much better than the $30 version Amazon sells.
The 10th Doctor Universal Remote Control Sonic Screwdriver from the Wand Company is an excellent middle-ground between the Dirt-Cheap, pretty awful toy and the immaculate all-metal perfect reproduction Celestial Toystore. At $100, it is really accurate, with aluminum parts (though an ABS body) and, best of all, is a working universal remote with TV-B-Gone. If you can't afford or acquire a CT Sonic, I guarantee that you'll never be sorry about buying the Wand Company's offering.
I didn't set the price, I just bought it but I have to say; I have very little patience for price-bashers. Because the worth of an item is subjective. I paid over $400 for this and I never regretted it for an instant. And I don't have a lot of disposable income. Hundreds of others have bought one without regret. 500 units sold of a far inferior version that cost a lot more. This is the most accurate replica of this prop anyone will ever make. So, yeah... I think it's totally worth the cost.
yeah the paint on the button has come of on mine, and now its going black, witch i suppose happened on the prop too, so i suppose as you wear it more it becomes weared like the prop to an extent
I would LOVE to get a CT Sonic Screwdriver (especially the Season 1/2 Aztec Screwdriver - that thing is a beauty) however as someone with not a lot of disposable income I guess I'll just have to settle for the Wand Company's UR Sonic for now (can't wait to pre-order their 11th/12th Doctor's Sonic).
Well, the make of the handle is a plastic mould... but the silver parts are Aerospace-Grade Aluminium, and the blue tip is acrylic. And yes, I am Son Goku....
It sucks that 10th doctor sonic screwdriver replicas are becoming such a rare thing now, the wand company's version is out of production for some reason so instead of it's original price of around 50 dollars if I remember correctly, it goes for like 200 used on ebay, obviously Celestial toystore versions cost even more rightly so. Which brings me to the question, considering the fact that it is very difficult or expensive to get your hands on a good quality or accurate replica of the 10th doctor's sonic, do you think using a character options version, by modifying it, you could make a fairly decent replica? I'm pretty sure the scale is a bit off and I would imagine it is much lighter than the original prop, but asside from the obvious modification of putting the button on the slider, what do you think would be some good modifications/improvements? Because I am genuinely considering doing so.
I ordered mine April 9th and he said they will be shipped in mid June on his website so I guess he will ship them in the order in which people bout them...
I'd buy 3 of the Wand Co. sonics. That way I have a sonic I can take anywhere, flip around, drop, use a ton, and show off with... as it actually DOES something. The CT version is indeed sexy but... I'd rather have 3 incredibly accurate sonics that I can carry/use or put on display than the CT which is good for only one thing... being "closer" to the screen used prop behind glass. Buuuttt... that's just me.
It's very nice, but in no way is it more accurate. If you want proof, go to their site and look at the FAQ. They list at least a dozen different ways in which it is inaccurate to the original prop, changes that were necessary to cram the universal remote guts in and shave costs to keep it cheap. CT's sonic is by far the most accurate replica ever produced, hands down. And more than worth the cost to a serious collector. The remote is still great to a casual fan or a collector with limited means, but it is in no way as accurate, let alone being moreso.
+Sapphire Sky Chris Richard and Andrew from the Wand Company are huge fans of CTs work. They agree with +The Propsmith, and he is in regular contact with them. They only needed his for the SIZE of the screwdriver, not the material or interior. And I'm pretty sure CT got his hand on David's prop too.
I ended up getting the 11th hour as well. As a matter of fact, I got my 11th hour today. Probably also going to get the UE edition at some point though.
I don't know if this is true or not: I heard that BBC's New sonic universal remote to be released in a few days is the closest thing you could ever got to David's original sonic. They say its so accurate that the cracked porcelain on the handle will be exactly the same! The only thing different is that it is 5 grams lighter than his. Not to mention it doubles as a universal remote aaaand its only $120 bones in the US. . . . We'll see I suppose.
I got an 11th hour one. This was before the ultimate was given as an option, and i wanted to be sure to get one at all. I guess i should give it a bit, and my info in regards to my order still says processing...do you think i should contact him? I also dont want to bother him...
Oh yeah i remember you commenting on his video. didn't you order an item that was out of stock though? o.o (i purchased the 11th hour variant, which wasnt)
It's weird people were saying that the TWC was better, but in early release the emitter sections weren't put together properly and fell apart on some peoples sonics. They've fixed since then. Also CT's is better than TWC in 10 and 11 sonics.
The wand company version is cheaper offers more features and is more accurate. This thing looks cool but I feel that the wand company version is the better option.
Cheaper: Yes. More features: Yes. More accurate: Not on your life. Go to the FAQ on their site. It lists almost a dozen points of inaccuracy. Not to mention that it most definitely LOOKS like molded plastic, rather than a crackle paint job. I love the Wand Company guys and I love their products... they are seriously top-notch. But their sonics do not compare to dedicated prop replicas, and they'd be the first to tell you that.
+The Propsmith And the ct version has no inaccuracies? The ct emitter is the wrong shape, the blue line shouldn't glow, the black cap while improved now still doesn't look quite right, something looks wrong about the to little bumps at the bottom of the handle, and while this particular inaccuracy is shared with the wand company version the emitter shouldn't be transparent. The wand company version was 3D scanned from the original prop on the other hand and as such is the same shape as the original and while the cracks are molded it was done that so that the crack pattern was mimicked perfectly from the original. I still think the wand company version wins.
The CT Emitter is actually not at all the wrong shape (there was some variation in the lenses used on-screen so you may see some shots where it looks different, but there are shots with it exactly as it is on CT's). The blue line glows in the dark as a fun extra thing, which does nothing at all to detract from its accuracy in light. The black cap may look off to you, but it actually is not. The "little bumps" at the bottom of the handle were a big point of contention in the prop world when CT announced they weren't symmetrical, but then TWC laser-scanned Tennant's sonic and came away with the same exact shape and everyone went silent on the issue. The emitter is transparent enough to allow light through. It isn't see-through. And those 3D scanned cracks? Sorry to break it to you, but the prop was re-painted before it was gifted to Tennant. So those cracks are exactly identical to the prop as it never once appeared on screen. I'm not talking shit about TWC. As I said: I know those guys and they're really great guys who make really great products. But to say that their sonics are more accurate than CT's is 100% objectively, unquestionably wrong. Given the price difference, TWC may well be the better option for quite a lot of people. But if we're talking straight-up accuracy to the prop, that's just not an argument that the facts will support.
+The Propsmith I didn't know about the cracks thing and that is odd but the bumps on the handle not being symmetrical is not what I'm talking about. The cot bumps look too big to me. It doesn't look right. Even if the blue line being an extra thing is the point it still seams to be the wrong shade of blue. And I will give credit where credit is due here as the cracks version does have the screws on the bottom as well as the solid white button. Another thing is the position of the bars on the bottom of the emitter, I know that sometime it looked like that but most of the time the bars were not lined up with the button and blue line as they are here. While this version is nice the wand company version still seems better to me. And I know you are not trying to insult the wand company. I am not trying to insult CT as CT has made some incredible replicas like the eleventh Doctor screwdriver (though that one has its own set of inaccuracies that I can go on about)
+GeeboysGamesandMore continued because it would not let me go on. The wand company version just seems better to me. I wouldn't trade it for a CT tenth doctor sonic at all (partially cause my WC sonic was a Christmas gift but that's beside the point) I just think it offers more for your money.
I have one of these but bottom part where you pull off to expose the brass(ish) innards where the battery cells are has gotten pretty loose. Any ideas on how to make it more adhesive so that it shuts all the way? I thought about lightly applying some superglue on the inside..
+The Propsmith I have read some threads that have stated things like "Don't waste your money on this get the wand company's version" or "the wand company's is just as screen accurate" Both of which I disagree. I prefer the WCs for features and the CTs for accuracy and detail. If the remote wasn't one of the sonics you sold, I'd love for you to make a comparison video that states why you think the WC version isn't a prop replica. Maybe we will share the same opinion!
It's not. Their website lists about a dozen inaccuracies and the body is clearly plastic, to boot. It's an amazing product, don't get me wrong. But there is nothing more accurate than this. And the Wand Company would tell you themselves.
Hey LegoBatman, Sorry for the delay responding. As far as I know, he's produced all he's going to of these, as he doesn't want to paint any more (it takes about 16 hours for each one due to the high failure rate of the paint). I have emailed him on your behalf to see if he can add you to a wait-list if one opens up. I'll let you know what he says.
+TheNEOBOURNE007 It's not a matter of "restocking" because he can't just order more from the manufacturer; he is the manufacturer. For the time being, the 10th Doctor Sonics have been discontinued (though he is planning one final edition). Right now, he's focused on the 11th/12th Doctor sonic, which is currently available for preorder on the site.
They are exclusive, and once 500 are sold, he doesn't make them anymore. Your best bet is to buy it from someone else, but the risk with that will be that it will probably be more expensive than it was originally sold for, and IMO it was expensive enough. Or, you can wait for the Final edition he will release this year.
TheNEOBOURNE007 He only has made 500 of this screwdriver and his others. The best alternative for you (unless you want to buy it from someone with double the price) is the wand company version or a replica by a guy named Sanholo. Check out his channel.
What I want to know is how dureable this prop replica is. Would it survive being dropped at a con or something? I have the wand company sonic but don't trust its battery life or durability to take it out and about
Douglas Johnston Absolutely do not take this beautiful prop around to cons if you’re afraid of dropping it! The Sand Company is a quarter the price and made of plastic! Use that!!
@@PropsmithReplicas the sand company? If you mean the wand company I like to keep that in its box when I'm not using it since its now discontinued and also has a limited battery life. I'm looking for a good prop replica that has decent batterys but I wouldn't want one that's too fragile.
@@douglasmusic4797 Sorry, that was a typo... I wasn't even out of bed yet. I didn't realize that was out of production, but the Celestial Toystore is going to be an even more rare piece. Also, it is constructed exactly like the original prop, including an acrylic rod that is subject to breakage. Also, the paint job is a bit fragile, as it was on the prop (it had to be constantly repainted). All told, you're better off with TWC as your con sonic. Or, if you're really sure you're going to drop it, just use a CO.
@@PropsmithReplicas Yeh i usually stick with the toy ones for cons because I like to throw them up and catch them like the doctor does in the show. I'm hoping someone will make one that's an accurate size and fairly dureable (since I'm not just looking for a display piece) but I've not been able to find one. Also do you know if celectial toystore is ever in stock with 9 or 10s nowadays I've not seen them in stock in years?
The universal remote is so visually close to this that its basically pointless to pay hundreds more dollars. Of course it is an actual prop replica, so that's a good reason.
The only difference I really find is that the crackle is better on the CT version but the WC version has functionality and actually works like it did in the show
It doesn't have the wrong sound. The pitch changes on the show all the time, sometimes as he's using it. They modulate from a base sound file. That base sound file is what's loaded on this sonic's sound chip. Keep in mind, you're hearing it coming out of a TINY speaker, recorded with an iPhone's built-in mic, compressed by RUclips and played back on whatever speaker you're using. So, you're not going to get a 100% reproduction in the video. It does sound better in person, but even that will never be quite as rich as the raw sound file (which I have), because of the shockingly small size of the speaker that has to pump it out.
It did not come scratched and scuffed, but the paint is pre-distressed to simulate the appearance of the prop around the time of the episode "The Next Doctor."
JoesPinkRadio Can people like you PLEASE stop saying that the Wand Company Sonic is "just as screen accurate"? I love the Wand Company guys and their products are FANTASTIC, but it's NOT as screen accurate. For one, it has a bloody plastic body with the crackle molded in. On top of that, visit the FAQ on their site, there is a laundry list of differences right there from the Wand Company themselves.
Actually Joe is right, the Wand Company is accurate given it was molded using a 3D scan of Tennant's actual Sonic he physically owns after he filmed the last episode he was on. Sure the material may not be accurate, but for fucks sake the Wand Company one is better than the crap Character Options version that was made a million times. But, yet better than getting a Sonic that though has material made that is screen accurate, its better than a sonic that's around the price of a used car. Most of us don't have that kinda cash to shell for this. So the wand company is the better alternative.
Well, there are a few reasons I don't mention that: 1) It is not, and has never been, the price. When I purchased it, it was something like $420. With the current exchange rate, it's about $443. 2) This replica is the very closest thing you will ever get to owning the actual prop used on-set. To people truly interested, the price will not be a barrier to entry, because they know that quality work is worth the extra money. 3) I find that posting a link in the description to where it can be purchased serves very well, especially considering the fluctuating exchange rate and 4) I like to try to cut down on cheap-ass plebes who don't appreciate quality from exclaiming $400? But the CO toy only costs $30! (Or, lately, "The Wand company only costs $100!").
Shawn McBee If a lot of people say "The Wand company only costs $100!" then listen to them. The Wand Company's 10th doctor's sonic screwdriver is the most accurate prop replica in fact, as the wand company went as far as 3d laser scanning David Tennant's PERSONAL prop taken after his era ended. What makes CT's prop better than WD's?
TempusWare Don't get me wrong, I love the Wand Company's sonic. It's a truly great item and it adds a lot of fun by actually working as a remote. But it is not the most accurate replica. For one, the body is plastic with moulded crackle... and, no, that doesn't make it more accurate, as it is crackle that was never on-screen. It's from the fresh re-paint the sonic was given after filming before being gifted to Tennant. Further, there are a whole bevy of changes made by TWC to make their sonic functional and affordable. All these changes are listed in great detail on their website's FAQ. See the response to FAQ #7. Lastly, Richard and Chris, the owners of TWC, who I am in regular contact with, are big fans of CT's work and acknowledge the complete screen-accuracy of his sonic. Some things to note about CT: He was the first to discover that the sonic was gray and not "heritage gold" as previously thought. He was the first to crack the secret of the crackle. He was the first to discover the proper ridge shape that TWC confirmed with the release of their laser-scanned replica. The man had unprecedented access to one of the filming props and has produced, without ANY doubt, the most accurate 10th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver ever made. And it's totally worth the $400+. If that's too rich for you, then TWC's sonic is an amazing piece at about 25% the cost. But the main body is still plastic and it will never look like something that just walked straight off the set. I hope that answers your question satisfactorily.
The Wand Company makes a very (nearly 100%) accurate 10th Doctor Sonic that functions as a tv remote as well as a prop replica. It's only 110 USD on amazon right now.
NerdByChoice99 Yes, they do. It's a very nice piece and the owners of the company are great guys. The accuracy is closer to the 85%-90% range and it's got a plastic body... It's incredibly nice and I recommend any fans of this prop to buy one, but I don't think it's a real replacement for the CT.
Diamond Saddle Sorry, I never got notified about this reply... Um... it's not a pen cap, except on the horrifically inaccurate CO toy. I assure you, every dimension on this replica is completely accurate.
good review man, ive got one too on my channel, check it out.. and thanks for showing me about the batteries, i was dreading changing them... more confident now :-)

Thanks for putting this review up great vid my friend, if the celestial brings out an 11th doctor sonic r u getting it :)
How would you describe the feel/texture of the non-crackle paint finish as opposed to, and compared with, the previous crackle powder coat?
Drivers will be shipped in mid may
I got an 11th hour one. This was before the ultimate was given as an option, and i wanted to be sure to get one at all. I guess i should give it a bit, and my info in regards to my order still says processing...do you think i should contact him? I also dont want to bother him...
Epicc
Thanks man
Yes i'd like to know that as well. Do the preorder ones take that long or can you get immediate shipping on one thats just on sale?
I have one of these but bottom part where you pull off to expose the brass(ish) innards where the battery cells are has gotten pretty loose. Any ideas on how to make it more adhesive so that it shuts all the way? I thought about lightly applying some superglue on the inside..
train9971 , it should at max take 3 weeks, but I did see a section on the website that the screwdrivers t
do they sell these anymore? where else do you think i could buy one? I am desperate to get my hands on one of these. Are they still being produced?
Does the battery die on the sonic? If so, how do you replace the battery?
Does anyone know when he's coming out with more? He won't answer my emails.
The ultimate screw
+The Propsmith I have read some threads that have stated things like "Don't waste your money on this get the wand company's version" or "the wand company's is just as screen accurate" Both of which I disagree. I prefer the WCs for features and the CTs for accuracy and detail. If the remote wasn't one of the sonics you sold, I'd love for you to make a comparison video that states why you think the WC version isn't a prop replica. Maybe we will share the same opinion!
It really is a beautiful prop isn't it?
Does it rattle like in the show?
i'm pretty sure the tenth doctor's sonic remote by the wand company is better.
It's not. Their website lists about a dozen inaccuracies and the body is clearly plastic, to boot. It's an amazing product, don't get me wrong. But there is nothing more accurate than this. And the Wand Company would tell you themselves.
Hi i was just wondering. Since celestial toystore is in china, how much does it cost to send?
It sucks you can’t get these anymore
Hey LegoBatman,
Sorry for the delay responding. As far as I know, he's produced all he's going to of these, as he doesn't want to paint any more (it takes about 16 hours for each one due to the high failure rate of the paint). I have emailed him on your behalf to see if he can add you to a wait-list if one opens up. I'll let you know what he says.
How long did it take to arrive to you because i ordered mine like 3 weeks ago and it still hasnt arrived
I'm guessing this is the s3-s4 model?
When do ct restock because I've been looking all the time and they always say out of stock have they gone out of business they never restock?
Do u have the mfx sonic screwdriver?
Quick question:
How durable is this sonic? I had the 11th Doctor's Universal Remote and I dropped it and it broke. Will this sonic break after 1 drop?
Also do you know if celectial toystore is ever in stock with 9 or 10s nowadays I've not seen them in stock in years?
how much it cost???
Why on earth can't Character make a proper sonic? Like, for $30 I'd at least expect a button on the slider and correct wire colors.
The universal remote is so visually close to this that its basically pointless to pay hundreds more dollars. Of course it is an actual prop replica, so that's a good reason.
The only difference I really find is that the crackle is better on the CT version but the WC version has functionality and actually works like it did in the show
+Red Who Quite. I know the crackle is supposed to be painted on, but personally I like the look of it better when it is engraved.
"sonic traffic lights..."
D'hohoho
how long did it take to ship? i ordered mine two weeks ago :(
how long did yours take to ship to your address? also how long did it take to go from 'pending' to 'shipped'?
sonic screwdriver prop would like to have
May i buy it? Would you take 300?
I so want that
ou l'avez vous achetez
Does anyone have one fro sail please?
have you ever considered that it makes the wrong sound effect?
I've seen these sold on other sites but cost like 400$
Where do you buy this in UK??????????????????????????????????????
The website is in the description.
Did yours come scratched and scuffed up or was is polished and new looking?
It did not come scratched and scuffed, but the paint is pre-distressed to simulate the appearance of the prop around the time of the episode "The Next Doctor."
Would you sell this?
I remember when it was called sonic screwd
How long did yours take to arrive in the mail?
i have an 11th hour one and a eccleston one too :D
Hi where did u exactly get this? I would like this exact screwdriver. and how much is it
Check the description?
+GAMERZ BOI get the universal remote because its cheaper and just as screen accurate. also it can turn tv's on and off so ya know
JoesPinkRadio Can people like you PLEASE stop saying that the Wand Company Sonic is "just as screen accurate"? I love the Wand Company guys and their products are FANTASTIC, but it's NOT as screen accurate. For one, it has a bloody plastic body with the crackle molded in. On top of that, visit the FAQ on their site, there is a laundry list of differences right there from the Wand Company themselves.
The Propsmith sorry bruv. Im just telling him more sources that he might want to check out
Actually Joe is right, the Wand Company is accurate given it was molded using a 3D scan of Tennant's actual Sonic he physically owns after he filmed the last episode he was on.
How much is it
$411.89
I want one of these so bad! I would trade my ct 11th sonic for one
thats the mfx version
I am watching this video from my TARDIS, I'm the Doctor & I approve this vid
what you dont mention is that its 500 US dollars
Well, there are a few reasons I don't mention that:
1) It is not, and has never been, the price. When I purchased it, it was something like $420. With the current exchange rate, it's about $443.
2) This replica is the very closest thing you will ever get to owning the actual prop used on-set. To people truly interested, the price will not be a barrier to entry, because they know that quality work is worth the extra money.
3) I find that posting a link in the description to where it can be purchased serves very well, especially considering the fluctuating exchange rate
and 4) I like to try to cut down on cheap-ass plebes who don't appreciate quality from exclaiming $400?
Tia name is Aleene's crackle
WOW I need it :P
The Wand Company makes a very (nearly 100%) accurate 10th Doctor Sonic that functions as a tv remote as well as a prop replica. It's only 110 USD on amazon right now.
NerdByChoice99 Yes, they do. It's a very nice piece and the owners of the company are great guys. The accuracy is closer to the 85%-90% range and it's got a plastic body... It's incredibly nice and I recommend any fans of this prop to buy one, but I don't think it's a real replacement for the CT.
not that that is a major problem.
I feel like the dimensions are wrong
I feel like you're trolling.
The dimensions are most definitely not wrong.
Its just the pen cap looks a little big
Diamond Saddle Sorry, I never got notified about this reply... Um... it's not a pen cap, except on the horrifically inaccurate CO toy.
I assure you, every dimension on this replica is completely accurate.
No even in the show on the tip they used a pen cap. Look it up.
+RexyGuy I can see why you didn't respond to this idiot.
good review man, ive got one too on my channel, check it out.. and thanks for showing me about the batteries, i was dreading changing them... more confident now :-)
if i got locked away

+The Propsmith Do you prefer the 10th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver or thw 11/12th doctor sonic screwdriver?

HokageKing It would be more than that...
Al-I’m-in-ee-um not A-loo-min-um ew
