It is 2022 and I am laughing as much now as I remember doing with my family in the Fifties every Tuesday night from eight to nine. Miltie was the biggest thing on television, and rightfully so. I was watching a rerun of Johnny Carson last night with Milton as a guest. He was plugging this special and I am delighted to find it here on RUclips. Thank you so much for making this show available to us.
2022 and the humor of the Fifties (with the strong vaudeville influence) is still laugh-provoking. Milton's show was staggeringly popular. If a bar didn’t have a television, it basically had no customers on Tuesday night. It is no exaggeration to say that probably 90% of all televisions in the country were tuned to Uncle Millie on Tuesday night. It was such a cultural phenomenon! I was watching a Johnny Carson rerun last night with Milton and he was plugging this special. I am so pleased to find this. What a wonderful trip back to my childhood….the whole family sitting in the den laughing together, sharing good wholesome fun.
Although Jack Benny is my Favorite comedian, I must admit that Milton's comedy was very active and quick with the jokes. People's sense of humor was being entertained by the geniuses of their time and could be watched by all ages. Albeit between wars. GLAD I watched it!😁👍

That's why I'm here, too! Berle was great on Carson. I watch The Tonight Show every night before bed, it's incredibly relaxing.
A skinny Francis Sinatra. Absolutely wonderful.

Some of those bits were so cute. That is the same way I found Uncle Miltie.
