i am so mad, i figured it all out myself except that the first number was 0. i even thought about the spider being 8 bc of its legs but that first one being 0 threw me off. thanks for the quick tip
That's right. The middle number is the sum of the three outer numbers. You can solve for an unknown outer number by working backwards from the middle number using subtraction.
