Definitely, it fits with your personality and your background. Once a professor told me "you always have to continue learning, whether taking courses or self-taught". You will be OK.🤞

Congrats!! I think I watched most of your OU videos cuz I was interested in it for awhile and I remember you talked about you won’t work in that field (from your original video). But good to know that you could do something that is closer to what you studied, and wanted! It’s very encouraging actually, knowing one could learn something for one’s own interest, and there is potentially more (like jobs, money…). Thanks for the update!

Thank you! Yes, I never thought about data as an option for some reason, but goes to show education can open up new doors you didn’t even know were possible

Hey Lucia! Good to read your happy woth your transition :)
To be honest, from the start you seemed like aside from the work you did before and your interest in physics, you actually kinda wanted to get into the whole high-tech good paying market/jobs, and thats so nice you managed!
It made me wonder though, does the routes of accademia or soft dev interest you? Would you be moving into something similar and up from DA in the future?
God bless and have a great week😁

Great way to break into the industry and is exactly what I did. I was in a Sales and Lead Generation role but loved working with the data and requested to transition into the company's data team and learn on the job.

I have never felt so seen before 😭 I currently work in marketing/social media and it feels like trying to fit a rectangle into circle. I’m forcing it to work but it’s not the right fit. I’m looking to get a certificate in data analysis.

How can become a data analyst in UK. Most of the people in RUclips are from America and can't really apply their advice here. Is there any course (not full UNY degree because I can't spend another 4 years in studying) that is recognised by the employers in the field? Thank you

If you already have a degree in math, you can either apply to a Msc or apply for credit transfer to a bsc, and you'll have to do an internship.

      You can do a Bootcamp

@@emakimberly6541 I did a free 4 month bootcamp in Data Science (UK) just now having graduated in accounting and finance in 2018. The bootcamp was mainly python and was very difficult and am not confident in it at all. How can I break into data analysis? Most entry level jobs I've seen require either experience or a STEM degree... Should I do a masters? I don't know if I could even do it based on my limited coding experience. :( Feeling so lost

You can also apply to Apprenticeship program sponsored by companies. The great thing about apprenticeships is that you get to work and learn on the job (utility based learning) and get paid while at it. Whatever path you choose, goodluck❤
