Good video Iris! I'm so happy you're shedding a different light on the topic "find your passion": it can be different things, doesn't have to be one. Most important is that it interests and motivates you. I'm also happy you pointed out that 1 perfect passion is not for everyone, in fact it is only true for a small group of people. This insight will lower the amount of pressure people put on themselves. An insight some of my clients will benefit from I'm sure! Thanks again!
Thanks Claire ❤ Yes, we're too hung up on this idea to have "1 perfect passion". I hope we all can change the narrative, so people stop feeling so pressured to find that "one thing"
I’m 54 this year. I’ve pursued various hobbies/passions/careers and fortunately I was successful in most of them. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Like yourself, I’ll be 54 years old this year, and have been working in Finance sine 1987. Qualified, Certified Accountant. But by time, I am getting less and less satisfaction. Work is going crazy, they have taken all the fun out. But nearly impossible to change the career. @@rainbow2710 Thank you for sharing, Jon. I was in mortgage banking for 20 years. After 2008, regulations made it impossible to help people and feel like I was doing any good in the world. Love this! Thanks for sharing Taz. You've made me curious... how have you adapted your mindset? What's changed? How do you see things differently now? No worries if you'd rather not share in public here - I appreciate and respect that.
@@rainbow2710 I'm glad you found something that keeps you going. At the same time, you deserve more than that. I'm sorry - that's an awful position to be in (and I know, because I've been there too). Perhaps check out this video of mine, it might help to ignite a spark within you again ruclips.net/video/aQ6NlVbr79c/видео.html. Sending you all the best!
That’s why I’ve learned that skills will always be there, passions will come and go as you grow- better to train/learn things you know you’ll have fun being skilled at and then work in the field of your current passion- and you can move careers that way
I envy people who know what they want to do with their lives. I went to school to be a teacher which took awhile as i worked 3 jobs along the way. Then i got there...I enjoyed sped but workload was crazy unintentionally got a job in regular education and its more frustrating. I don't know what I should be doing.
Start by asking basic questions like, do I like technology or do I like animals or food. Look up careers related to for example animals, sift through the career choices and figure out which one suits your needs and that will be able to make you happy but the pay is good. Hope this helps 😊❤
I wouldn’t say I feel like a failure. It’s just that I desire to figure out what is it I desire to do instead of working in corporate the rest of my life.

@@IrisSmyth Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such encouraging words! Job and work are 2 different things. A job pays the bills, whereas work is always something that is naturally within you. What is one thing that you are renowned for and that people always comes to you for. that's your Work/calling.
@@Helen_590 well my hobbies would photography for example but unfortunately photography is not a lucrative career to have especially when you have lots of bills and rent to pay, and its just better off left as a hobby. I just wish I knew what I would be good at in practical sense not passion or the arts
I was in the I don't know my passions camp and when I turned 24 I had a bad break up and looked at my life and decided I needed a change. I never found my passion. I looked at what I liked and what I thought a good job would have and then looked at the jobs that fit those criteria. I chose a passion. I said I am going to make this my skill. My craft. My life. I do not regret it
I think I’m in step 3. The messy bit, trying things and not finding what works effectively for money, or what I can tolerate making into a job. A hobby is different to a job. Making a hobby into work can be heartbreaking!
7:32 step1. what things am i naturally drawn to? That's our starting point 7:55 step 2. Engage with your interest. 9:53 step 3. After engaging/exploring your interest, think of what a career of that would look like
Awesome ideas for finding your dream career! If after doing these steps, you realize that you have a love of photos, helping people, and preserving/sharing memories, you may want to consider becoming a professional photo manager. It's a growing field with a huge demand and the flexibility to make it your own.
This has been the most helpful video on this topic I've ever watched. I don't know that I can do much with the info (no career to switch from and little to no experience - I've been ill for 13 years). But it's still a subject I come back to when I feel hopeless, and this makes more sense than I've ever heard. I wish I could have heard this in university or in my early twenties. Thank you!
actually, I’ve already done all these kind of things like to do my list of my interests,my research and ask to people however everything from my list, every single likely future career is driving me crazy due to it’s out of my capacity, I’m not able to do that because it’s i don’t have enough knowledge yet I have this strong desir to pursue it. you need to have confidence in yourself. thank you for your videos 😊
I am a pre med student,I came into this field just because I thought I would be able to achieve it just because I get good grades..But I was completely wrong.I have been feeling so down and demotivated lately and I do not like where I am..I want to change it so bad but everyone keeps saying its too late.. I want to do something meaningful that will bring me joy as well as financial freedom.I know how to work hard but I want to put my work into something that will be recognized and appreciated.I hope that everything gets better for me as well as for everyone going through the same chaos.
If you don’t enjoy it as a pre med, you won’t enjoy med school either. I dropped out of PA school, it was brutal and I had no passion for it. Was only in it because of family pressure
My problem has never been pursuing my interests, it’s always been sticking with them. Every thing I’ve ever attempted as soon as things got hard I gave up. I’ve played music, I’ve attempted content creation, I’ve attempted going to college and never made it passed the admissions process. I don’t think lost quite covers where I am in my life/career
You sound like my soul brother. I did become an LVN, but the thought of changing or studying again is paralyzing, I want to, but I don't have the motivation even though I'm miserable
The thing that helped me was, listening to that little voice that told me "we need to do that." For me I'm very practical, and that can be a detriment at times, because it makes you do risk assessment over every big choice, and I stayed with the "safe" choice a lot. I finally listened to that voice that was nudging me, and I took the leap at 26, dropped my salary job, and went towards trade work. I've been more motivated and enjoyed my work way more.
I have spent years working in fitness industry.I enjoyed the work but didint enjoy coperate world , then changed the industry again enjoying the job but not being micromanaged at work
Hi Iris, thank you so much for sharing your tips. All feelings of recognition when you spoke of the group of people with multiple interests! That is so me! I like drawing, painting, writing, am interested in programming, interested in antropology and filosophy, like to build and craft. But with everything I feel like a failure. I am no where as good as the people who show their succes stories on social media. When I see stories, videos or photos I feel like I am no good and should spend more them on my hobbies to improve. But there is so much I want to do. Same career wise, I have had several jobs and now work as an officemanager (less flashy than it sounds 😉) and do all sorts of tasks, I am quick, understand computer programs quickly, work structured, am good at planning and monitoring. But unfortnately my career is 'cursed' with never being asked for a step up. I keep muddling in the undergrounds. And really, I have no ambition to be a manager or something like that, but I want to have tasks that really suit me, there is more to me than what my job asks of me now. So thanks for your tips.
Thanks for this video! I'm a teen and I'm lost and have no idea what to do with my life and what career to pursue and i think a bunch of teens can relate. I've been trying various hobbies recently and so far it seems like cooking is so fun and that's something i would do every day passionately, but I'm still not sure
I have read and watched and talked about this topic many times throughout my life. I think this is the first time I have seen anyone address this topic. People are always like you just follow your passion. Then I always think, but I have 100 passions. Then they'll say something like you have to focus and find it. Anyway how refreshing this video was. Two years behind, but thank you very much.
The change of perspective really is the most prudent thing to do. And the way you phrased it really is motivating, for me anyways. I get why people are suckers for success stories, be it a business or a carreer, but I am always much more interested in the figuratively speaking "mountain of corpses" left under the throne on the peak of their success story.
I'm 43 years old, a mother of 10, I have been a home health aide for 22 years, I enjoy taking care of people, especially with mental health, social support.
It’s hard because the way marketing is now is all about ‘having a passion’. On social media etc. In graphic design, all the people who did lower grade graphic design feel like they can’t ‘talk’ about what they do on social media etc, because they aren’t ‘passionate’ about it. Now, we can’t have a business because we can’t market it because we don’t want to bang on about it on social media - argh!
I made a career change and it turns out the way to get clients is to be on social media all the time and market yourself and your personality.. BUT I'm introverted and it takes so much effort for me to approach new people and put myself out there. Feels like a lose/lose situation. I can't stand social media 🙄
This is me right now! Got fired from a job I hated in November 2022, and I am currently trying to figure out what I want to do next. I was living in Spain for 11 years and felt super limited there so now I am back in France and looking for work, feels like a minefield though! just found you and I am going to binge on all your videos! xxx thank you !
This was a fantastic video, thank you so much. I often feel something must be wrong with me to have no direction. What you said about the myth we need to have one crazy passion is so true. I feel this is what holds me back. Going to try focusing on more of my interests. ❤
This really hit home for me. The one thing I'm really passionate about is learning new things. That could be about thing's I already love doing, something about the culture of another country, or something completely random. This makes it difficult to find a job in the normal fashion because everyone learns all the time no matter what job you have.
Your videos are seriously really well made and super helpful! Really appreciate how you are shooting down cultural myths too. I've been very confused for a long time what to do career wise and I feel like I received some really good ideas for my next move by watching couple of your videos. Thanks!
Literally explained exactly me in the beginning. I feel like such a failure because i havent been abke to find my oassion and im constantly in and out of jobs. I have had so many jobs in the oast few years and just cant find what i feek is right for me.
I understand your pain, but just want to say: you are not a failure! This is so common, and it makes sense that you've been constantly in and out of jobs when you've been searching. Don't berate yourself. I hope my channel can give you some guidance. I'll be posting videos again soon.
You can try the StrengthFinder 2.0 (by Gallup) if you want to get a better idea of what your strengths are. Also, I did a video with a brainstorm to help people figure out what direction to move their career in next. You can find that one here: ruclips.net/video/aQ6NlVbr79c/видео.html
Failure and success are subjective when dealing with your own achievements, There are people who to others would appear to have achieved a lot, but they don't feel that way, they still feel like they're a failure or haven't achieved enough. Life isn't a competition, despite social expectations or media manipulation. I understand what you're getting at in regards to "feeling" this way, we all have for sure, but it's in some part due to our conditioning and environment which puts this pressure on a person.
Very nice video, and I totally agree with the points mentioned. I should also mention that not only do you not NEED to find that 1 thing you are passionate about, it can also be rather detrimental to your personal development, as you would not expose yourself to other things, and you may end up resenting the passion after you get the job in that field. For example, you could be passionate for ice cream, but being a QA in an Ice Cream factory would drive you insane and you will end up hating it! Also, in terms of finding meaning in work, there is a possibility that you are in the right career but you simply just don't know it yet and all you need is to change the environment, where you could contribute more and/or to different things. So far, for me personally, my self-discovery journey has been about realising that what I do is right, rather than sailing seas, climbing mountains and crossing desserts to find other careers. These are my thoughts, but I'd like to reiterate that I loved your video!
My problem is that I have that one thing that I'm passionate about, but it doesn't pay the bills and I would have to be exceptionally good at it (and lucky) to make a living off of it alone. That thing for me is storywriting.
Thank you for the video. My quick summary that might help others: 1. Pay attention to things you are interested in/drawn to (find what interests + motivates you; don’t focus on a sole “purpose") - what would you love to learn more about? - brainstorm help: ruclips.net/video/aQ6NlVbr79c/видео.html 2. Engage with your interests - try it out - Try 2-3 interests at a time to compare how you feel about them 3. Informational Interviews - Have others clarify the career & start networking once you isolated a career
You're so welcome. Thanks for leaving such a kind comment. Just very happy these videos have been helpful! And apologies for not having posted anything in a loooong time.
Could you do it purely for the pleasure of it, or as a passion project, outside of your job/career? Your job can provide financial stability, whilst your passion can provide fulfillment.
I truly appreciate your valuable insights and extensive expertise on this particular topic. As I watched numerous videos on finding careers, I couldn't help but notice that they often overlook people like myself who fall under the second category; people who are clearly uncertain about their professional or personal aspirations. Your simplistic approach and unique perspective in assisting individuals find their way is remarkable and highly admirable. Your account is definitely worth subscribing to.
Thank you so much George for your very kind words. I'm glad you've found my approach helpful. I'll be posting new videos soon, so there will be fresh new stuff to help you along the way!
I found my passion and was lucky enough to do it for many years. I ended up making some poor life choices based on not being paid what I’m worth and now it’s been impossible to get that job back 😔 It’s a job that people don’t just give up unless you have to. That was 5 years ago. I’m so lost.
Really good video! empathetic, valuable information and it left me feeling so much better after just getting rejected from a job and feeling lost. Thank you very much!
Thank you Tina, that is so thoughtful of you to leave a comment. I'm glad that you felt much better after watching it. Hope you've found a great new job since.
Thank you for sharing this videy. Such great, sage advice. I am in my late 40s with lots of interests, but I find myself working in a job that depresses me. So I am going to use your advice to help find my path. Thank you for the video.
You are so welcome! And thank you for taking the time to reach out, always makes me so happy to hear that my videos have helped others. Best of luck with the next steps in your career!
I get what your saying. But nowadays these jobs that could suit the interests in mind tend to need extra qualifications so if you dont stretch the truth youll never get in. Lifes really tough especially when your older and doing this
thank you! I wrote the same response to someone else here, but thought you might find it helpful too. Now you have 3 ideas, start by exploring these simultaneously - you could connect and speak with people who do these kind of jobs or work in these fields, join new networks, seek educational opportunities (an online course could be a great starting point), or start a side project. The main goal is to learn more about these jobs and fields of work, as the reality is often different to what we might expect.
Lost in career, eh? I know that feeling. My boss called me a failure when she was hypnotized onstage. Said it was ridiculous that I graduated from college in 2021 and still haven't gotten my career. She said catering--or any college dining services--might be best for me. She doesn't believe in my skills or brains. She even used me as an example in her philosophy about *hard-work-not-equaling-intelligence-or-nobility.*
None of my hobbies and passions are profitable , nor can they translate to a job. They involve relaxing and fun activities that aren't money making 😅. Having multi-interests though does mean I've jumped careers multiple times. I truly misunderstoond protfolio careers advice by Squiggly Careers and tried different careers out. The thing is I want to do , the question is it attainnable without another degree or drivers license?
This video sounds like a good template for change. I just turned 56 in November and have fought age discrimination in the workplace since I turned 50. I'm unemployed at the moment and I'm in that lost place. I've had a love for the history of baseball and an interest in vintage baseball memorabilia. I'll incorporate the "3 steps" into some of my interests and see where it leads me. Thank you for the video. You look great btw. Do men jump when you snap your fingers like that? I would.
Apart from 1000s of interests. As u said in video .....I love to solve real life problems.. I m drawn to it ....And I actually do it effectively even in unconventional ways but how do I choose career out of it ?
I quit my job it was a bad company even though that i like the job itselfs it was fun … dealing with different kinds of nationalities and people but even though it was so much less than my degree , low salary bad community talks and it was so stressful because they don’t want to be with them … after that job I jumped into another position at school and it was well paid I couldn’t stand for more than 1 month i hate schools .. I didn’t find myself there … now i am 28 jobless and looking for the suitable chance.
I was working for 12 years but suddenly i switched my job and i failed miserably with my boss scolding me all time. I developed a fear n thn finally resigned from my job.
What if you like lots of things but once you do it you get bored and want something else? I’ve done several businesses I like them all but feel like I want something different as soon as I establish the businesses.
Could potentially be because you’re more naturally drawn to initiating things - coming up with new ideas, creating something tangible from nothing? Some people prefer project work where they get to be involved in the first/initial phase of a project, and then hand it over to someone else to run or manage it once it’s off the ground. I don’t know if that applies to you, as I obviously don’t know you, but it’s a thought.
The people (usually only child) that found their thing early on had parents aiding them the whole way.. I didn’t get any of that and had to bushwhack to find what I like.
Hmm, my problem is it’s hard for me to find a job that doesn’t absolutely drain me (anything healthcare or customer service related), even though I’ve been really good at interacting with customers and patients But on the other hand, data analytics is something that I’m just really bad at learning and I fall behind so quickly, so most desk jobs don’t work for me And…. It feels like most jobs require either constant (with little or zero breathing space) interactions with clients/customers/patients, or constant math and data and analytics So… idk what to do 🙃
I’m 21 I like children I like cooking and baking but I’ve also thought about government jobs because they pay good and have good benefits. I can play video games all day, but can I sit at the desk all day? I’m just here working at Amazon rn
Hello, Well my live is not easy because nobody wants to help me in finding a job, i am the only one that did here best so that she can find a job know the problem is that since I had an accident a care quite killed me i don't find no workplace anymore so know I feel like lost again and thinking to much
My career is chronic homelessness and uselessness...feeling lost is the status quo. If only I had something to blame like drugs. I can't fix fundamental problems in society that are beyond my control.
I have tried looking for the books ppl have recommended that they have helped them but they’re never available at my library. I can’t afford them and I also can’t be waiting for months. I’ve been on the waiting list for three months so far for a certain book.
Amazing .. thank you so much for sharing this valuable information, im in this phase right now and its so challenging to find only that one thing while having so many interests...
I like my job but I see that AI will demolish the industry I work in so I need to find something new that will outlast AI 😊 so I am looking for ways to change careers mid_life. Debating going back to school which might be crazy or might be great all depends on money in the end.
I just recently got injured and I don't think I'll be able to go back to work ever again and I am young this is not good I need to find a way to make money remotely digitally immediately😭
God Bless you! I am happy I found your video. Great content. I have watched alot of videos in finding passion and desired career but nothing like this one. You are doing a great job helping people find their interest!! God bless ya!
My problem is that the things im interested in and like, art for example, is a verh competitive and low paying industry now. Unless you are well established. And i like sfience and medical stuff. But i. Not good with mb social skills and have a bad back. So nursing and x ray tech is out of the picture. I have interests and passions. But j cant do them...
Its like nothing comes in my mind when i try to think what can I do, what do i like most or am i intrested in something. Its like I don't know anything about me. I was good at math and science but nowadays if i wanna start again can't concentrate and can't think another options too because I don't know. Its like i lost my interest long time ago. Whatever needs to done i just do those things according to the situations.
No specific topics that you like to listen to podcasts about? Or things that you like to have conversations about. Or things that you like doing? If really nothing comes to mind, I suggest you start suuuuper small by starting to notice what things you enjoy and draw your interest in daily life. Then you can build it from there. Knowing what you like and dislike, and what you're interested in is like a skill that you can develop, so please don't give up!
I think a good bit of it is that people try to have *work* be everything. Significance, money, work-life balance, fun, and social life. But there aren’t a whole lot of jobs that can actually do that. And worse trying to turn something you like doing into a job often just makes it less fun and interesting, and burns you out on it. I like writing, but turning it into a job isn’t what I actually want, mostly from watching the burnouts flog themselves into writing X words, stressing about whether it’s something they can sell, marketing, spending hundreds or thousands on courses, editing, book covers, and then spending hours on social media selling the book. I don’t need a second job, I don’t want to lose the fun of telling a story I actually want to tell and having people actually read it, even if it’s only a few people. I think the best answer for most people is find a job that gets you the lifestyle you want and let your passions be hobbies unless you really and truly aren’t going to be happy if you aren’t paid to do them.
Already did a whole process. A year of coaching and blogging and “design strategist” turns out to be an ideal thing for me. Meanwhile I’m getting older. When that field started it was based on people *exactly* like me, but now it’s a “masters degree” which (laughably) is supposed to instill 20 years of life experience into any 24 year old who wants to work with pretty colored post-it notes every day. 🙄 And nobody, now, will interview you without one. Especially when you’re not 28 anymore. Infuriating. Every year that passes, I get farther from what I could get to do (and feel far less miserable) for a living, instead of closer. Oh, and they can pay a 28 year old garbage $ to do the job, instead of paying a 50 year old commensurate money for doing a better job.
Great video but the interruptions to talk about other videos were super annoying. Just as I was starting to get invested and reflect - boom “here is another video”

Having passion makes you feel alive. I once had it and now it is lost. I feel like a shell of a person. Its like someone died but the someone was me.

Thank you so much for the timestamp. I was getting bored from the beginning.

Thank you 🙏🏻
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my RUclips channel 5 months ago about self development. Now I have 319 subs and almost > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I couldn’t have learned without getting started in the 1st place.
That's awesome, congratulations! I see you have 700 subs now. Growing, growing! Keep it up.
@@IrisSmyth Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such encouraging words! I have many plans to make it grow not because of fame or any external rewards but the inspiration I can give to someone who can barely get out of bed in the morning, suffering from depression, or feels like there is no hope anymore. I can totally relate to those situations because I’ve been there and turned my life around.
Every subscriber is not just a number but a human-being who made a conscious effort to hit that subscribe button for a reason. A reason to learn from my stories, life lessons, progress, setbacks, mistakes, and so on.
That is Beautiful I wish I could do something like that.
Job and work are 2 different things. A job pays the bills, whereas work is always something that is naturally within you. What is one thing that you are renowned for and that people always comes to you for. that's your Work/calling.
what if nobody comes to me for anything? and what if I don't know what is naturally within me
@andriotis09 then you will have to discover this. Try some things, hobbies, find problems to solve.
@@Helen_590 well my hobbies would photography for example but unfortunately photography is not a lucrative career to have especially when you have lots of bills and rent to pay, and its just better off left as a hobby. I just wish I knew what I would be good at in practical sense not passion or the arts
@@andriotis09 Im going through the same excact dilemma.
My craft. My life. I do not regret it
First video I feel like captured where I'm at. "Failure"... But... also talented. Much, much appreciated and triggering... In a good way!
11:04 The antidote to feeling lost is change and you change things by taking action.
you got it!
I needed to hear this so bad!!
What if making changes means a massive pay cut? 😭
I think I’m in step 3. The messy bit, trying things and not finding what works effectively for money, or what I can tolerate making into a job. A hobby is different to a job. Making a hobby into work can be heartbreaking!
So true! What types of things have you tried so far?
Honestly i am a student but was very confused towards career after exploring so many things so tried this video .
I hope the video was helpful.
7:32 step1. what things am i naturally drawn to? That's our starting point
7:55 step 2. Engage with your interest.
9:53 step 3. After engaging/exploring your interest, think of what a career of that would look like
Thank you JESUS.
Thanks for taking the time to post a comment Sophie. Best of luck with navigating the minefield back in France. Hope my videos help you with it all. x
This was a fantastic video, thank you so much. I often feel something must be wrong with me to have no direction. What you said about the myth we need to have one crazy passion is so true. I feel this is what holds me back. Going to try focusing on more of my interests. ❤
Thanks for the kind comment - appreciate it. And so glad to hear this video resonated. Hopefully it's helped you to re-focus and get unstuck.
Thanks!
Thank you - and glad to hear you've received a few good new ideas! I hope you're feeling more clear about the next steps to focus on.
Thank you Iris, I take your words into heart, changing the things by taking action
🙏 I hope you've started to see some tiny changes happening since you posted this comment a month ago (sorry for the slow reply!)
my problem is that im average in everything i do not know what is my strongest and i do not know what i love
Same here. And those Strengh Finder things do nothing for me.
I know perfectly well, what my thing is.
My quick summary that might help others:
1. Pay attention to things you are interested in/drawn to (find what interests + motivates you; don’t focus on a sole “purpose")
- what would you love to learn more about?
- brainstorm help: ruclips.net/video/aQ6NlVbr79c/видео.html
2. Engage with your interests - try it out
- Try 2-3 interests at a time to compare how you feel about them
3. Informational Interviews
- Have others clarify the career & start networking once you isolated a career
Thanks so much for providing a quick summary! That's so generous, kind and helpful of you. Appreciated!
Hey iris, I recently found your channel and I just wanted to say thank you for doing all this. Your videos have been very helpful!
You're so welcome. Thanks for leaving such a kind comment. Just very happy these videos have been helpful! And apologies for not having posted anything in a loooong time.
I have a passion, but I cannot survive financially on my passion
Tremendously insightful, thank you Iris
I found my passion and was lucky enough to do it for many years. I ended up making some poor life choices based on not being paid what I’m worth and now it’s been impossible to get that job back 😔 It’s a job that people don’t just give up unless you have to. That was 5 years ago. I’m so lost.
Me too 😔
Really good video! empathetic, valuable information and it left me feeling so much better after just getting rejected from a job and feeling lost.

I really liked your video... BUT I LOVE THAT SNAP!!! Transition snaps have to become a thing frfr.
I get what your saying. But nowadays these jobs that could suit the interests in mind tend to need extra qualifications so if you dont stretch the truth youll never get in. Lifes really tough especially when your older and doing this
great video.. i have about 3 idea of career that i think i want, because lack of decision i always jump from one to another
This was really helpful to me.Amazing career talk.
Same, I want to do some real-world work but I'm in love with creative things like acting/filming/drawing/animating....
@@kamomiru5584 its great to know more like minded people. I hope u find your ikigai soon. I am struggling with mine.

I quit my job it was a bad company even though that i like the job itselfs it was fun … dealing with different kinds of nationalities and people but even though it was so much less than my degree , low salary bad community talks and it was so stressful because they don’t want to be with them … after that job I jumped into another position at school and it was well paid
I couldn’t stand for more than 1 month i hate schools .. I didn’t find myself there … now i am 28 jobless and looking for the suitable chance.
How do u not have a job don’t u have rent to pay?
Thank you! This is very helpful!
I love to learn work but i can help but always feel lazy

Ha. Personal experience... I've been in that position too... 🤷🏽♀️
Very helpful, thank you ❤
The people (usually only child) that found their thing early on had parents aiding them the whole way.. I didn’t get any of that and had to bushwhack to find what I like.
Especially having parents that fuel that singular passion.
Doing work that intrinsically interests and motivates to you is in fact uber sexy!
agreed!
Hmm, my problem is it’s hard for me to find a job that doesn’t absolutely drain me (anything healthcare or customer service related), even though I’ve been really good at interacting with customers and patients
But on the other hand, data analytics is something that I’m just really bad at learning and I fall behind so quickly, so most desk jobs don’t work for me
And…. It feels like most jobs require either constant (with little or zero breathing space) interactions with clients/customers/patients, or constant math and data and analytics
So… idk what to do 🙃
I just want to find something I need to do to be wealthy
My pleasure! Glad you found it helpful.
This just liberated me
Thanks for this information.
Great video! Thank you ❤
Great video thank you
Glad you enjoyed it - thank you! 🙏🏽
What if you don't know what you're interested in? I can't seem to get excited about anything enough to find it worth trying.
I’m 21 I like children I like cooking and baking but I’ve also thought about government jobs because they pay good and have good benefits. I can play video games all day, but can I sit at the desk all day? I’m just here working at Amazon rn
What if the main thing you want to do diesnt pay your bills?
Hello,
Well my live is not easy because nobody wants to help me in finding a job, i am the only one that did here best so that she can find a job know the problem is that since I had an accident a care quite killed me i don't find no workplace anymore so know I feel like lost again and thinking to much
My career is chronic homelessness and uselessness...feeling lost is the status quo.
I know! I need to lose weight. I'll find my thing when I drop 250 lbs... geez.
Amazing .. thank you so much for sharing this valuable information, im in this phase right now and its so challenging to find only that one thing while having so many interests...
Hope you've found a great new job by now!
I'm so sorry to hear that. Sounds like you're struggling. Hope you find something soon (fortunately remote work is now still widely accepted!)
Great video!
God Bless you! I am happy I found your video. Great content. I have watched alot of videos in finding passion and desired career but nothing like this one. You are doing a great job helping people find their interest!! God bless ya!
Thanks so much. Appreciate you took the time to leave a comment!
Your video was recommended to me by the RUclips algo. Quick advice, change roor or apply a filter to your voice. There's a big reverb
Thanks for the tip! Agreed.
Thank you 🙏
My problem is that the things im interested in and like, art for example, is a verh competitive and low paying industry now. Unless you are well established. And i like sfience and medical stuff. But i. Not good with mb social skills and have a bad back. So nursing and x ray tech is out of the picture. I have interests and passions. But j cant do them...
Requires good social skills..
@@IrisSmyth Thank
This is a fantastic video with tactical steps on figuring things out. Thank you for sharing and I really appreciate your knowledge
I did all this and none of my passions bring me money or a career and I have not the funds to start from scratch with curses and such. What do I do?

Just as I was starting to get invested and reflect - boom “here is another video”
thanks for the feedback - noted and appreciated :)
But I have been able to reduce my hours at work to 25 hours and I can live of it so why would I try and find a dream career
