You 100 billion percent hit this out of the ballpark! This was so much fun (and SOOOOOO different from what I did). This might be my favorite video from you yet!!!!!!! And the outtakes. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 AND BEIGE IS NOT BORING! 🤣🤣🤣
I love that our approaches were so different but did show a similar mindset! It goes to show how our own personal styles can lead to such different approaches for these wardrobe ruts. I’m SO glad you had fun watching! I had a LOT of fun watching yours. And we may never agree on this one. 😉😂💕
@@bornblushing me too! And believe it or not, I can relate to loving color. I spent decades combining tie-dye with plaid and stripes and animal prints because I could never get enough. And I may get back to that at some point (especially with all your inspiration). And I am perfectly happy to agree to disagree on beige. 💕 It's only boring if it doesn't remind you of great things like The color of my favorite beaches. The color of the acorns I made whistles out of as a child. The color of the rough-skinned newt. (Why I am using that as a plus point is beyond me...) 😉
@@TheStyleStumbler Oh, those are excellent points. If a colour has some sort of emotional value, then it makes perfect sense to me. Only you could make beige sound poetic, Stephanie! 😉
Brilliant video. I laughed so hard. Are you watching me? Some days I feel inspired, and color choices come easily, other days my 'beige' of choice is black. Keep up these videos, showing more of your personality, wit and sassiness! Loving it. Outtakes are always a bonus...making sure I watch to the end just in case you slip them in.
So glad you enjoyed this one, Susan! And I'm happy to hear that you stick around for the outtakes. I like to have a little extra something for those who hang out with me until the end. ;) And I am also guilty of turning to black as a default when I'm getting ready in a hurry. It's too easy to go all in on black when feeling uninspired!
Dr. Sisley 😂😂😂.. again, i always enjoy the humor and pacing of your videos. This was too good!! Happy to say I use that instinctively use that trio to style myself as well and agree it’s quite effective 😍. I always find your color choices & clothing accents inspiring too. xx
What a fun video! Your editing was absolutely wonderful. I largely stick with black and earthy colors (comfort zone - they always look good), but sometimes I will break out reds, pinks, or blues. I think I need more brightly colored sneakers! Thank you from a long-time follower but first-time commenter!
Megan! I’m so happy you commented - great to hear from someone who’s been here with me for a while :) Earthy tones combined with brighter colours like red or blue sounds very dreamy. And poppy sneakers would be fun to add to the mix! Thank you so much for your sweet comment. 💕

I love that u r authentic in ur style, u know what suits u and we should all wear what makes us feel terrific! Love ur channel. Happy to have found u. 😊

Dr. Sisely!! Lol... you're so funny bebe!! 💞💞 I just wear pink...from baby to fuchsia!! Sometimes purple, red or black...love black but no matter how much i use a lint roller...well, cats 😺💕 Just go with those hot pink heels and you'll be fine!! They're gorgeous!! 💖
I LOVE pink, too. Baby, hot, fuchsia. It's all amazing. Love your colour choices! The hot pink heels are a huge favourite of mine. I wore them the other day to work with my pink blazer and Hermes lipstick and thought of you! Thanks for always being here bebe. 💕
Hi Brittany! I can't tell you how happy it made me to see a new video from you! Every video you make is always so much fun to watch and I love your creativity so much! I loved your tips and I will try them out because I'm definitely in a wardrobe rut & I've been putting myself in a box for far too long! I must admit I am someone who tends to get a lot of neutrals (you made me laugh so much with your comment on taupe and how you thought brown and grey were your grandfather's favorite colors😂), but lately, I find myself feeling so bored by my more minimalistic neutral items it's like I'm just missing that spark of excitement and creativity that makes getting dressed fun and a true expression of who you are, what inspires you, etc., plus I hate feeling like I'm dressed like everybody else or just following a trend that someone else thought out for us and that is meant to represent this whole aspirational "rich & sophisticated" ideal that, to be honest, feels quite outdated & a bit (or very) ridiculous. It's like who decides this? I mean sometimes I even look at high fashion runways and it's like really?! As always thank you so much for sharing, your videos and your presence are a true delight! Oh, and the outtakes and Dr. Sisley were genius! Hope you are well and that you have a lovely week!💕
Oh my gosh, YES! Taupe and brown were definitely grandpa's color scheme. And my uncle's. 😂 And I'm with you: every time I see a new video from Brittany, I get excited.
Hi Natalia! I'm always so happy to see your name pop up here. I really appreciate the time you take to write such amazing comments! I remember you telling me a little while ago how you love neutrals. But you're also someone with a fashion background, so I'm sure you style them in very cool ways! I agree -- the idea that dressing minimally in beige somehow exudes class and sophistication is quite silly! Who signed off on this idea?! And yeah, some high fashion runways have been SO dull lately. I actually read up on this a bit and some people were saying that people wear beige as a psychological thing -- like in a world of stress, beige provides the feeling of safety and comfort. But it's now even extended itself to things like baby's clothing, which is wild to me! Thank you for always being here, Natalia! Chat very soon. 💕
@@bornblushing Thank you so much, you're so kind! How interesting, I didn't know that, I'm not sure if I would choose beige as my comforting color, but I can see why some people would choose it. In spite of my love of neutrals I sometimes find I crave to look at bright colorful things when I'm stressed, to me it's like Dorothy entering Oz, beiges and whites make me think of clinics 😅. Hope you're doing well!!💕
Yeah, it's the sea of beige moment that gets my knickers in a knot. I see it EVERYWHERE here in Vancouver. So glad you enjoyed this video! Always great to hear from you. 💕

I have such a Fran Drescher style and I like wearing a little too much leopard 🐆🤷🏻♀
