I feel like I still haven't found my perfect red but I enjoy wearing Guerlain's Rouge Impérial, Lisa Eldridge's Cinnabar which isn't a traditional red but it's so stunning, and Gucci's Goldie Red in the sheer formula, and now the Dries Van Noten and Byredo ones are definitely going on my wishlist. I have long been curious about those Armani Lip Power lipsticks, especially because of the shape of the applicator. And 403 looks divine. But the finish of that Sisley lipstick is more up my alley (and the fact that it's muted is also more "me"). But then you said "blood red" and "sophisticated" and "comfortable, lightweight, hydrating" all in the same sentence about that Dries van Noten lipstick. And now I want Favorite Red, too! 😂 The way you describe makeup makes everything sound deliciously tempting. From what I know about your taste in lipsticks, Sisley’s formula seems right up your street, and they have a beautiful selection of reds as well. But I’d love to see you in any of these shades! Red would look incredible with your hair and skin tone. Now that you’re starting to lurve pink lipstick, I am expecting a love of bold red lipsticks very soon. 😉

And since you really love cool tones, it's the red you'd love the most out of the ones I mentioned for sure. In high(er) end, I also like the sadly now defunct Bite Beauty lip tint in Orange Fizz, as well as the Charlotte Tilbury Walk of No Shame which is a super low key, no commitment but still ladylike red for people who are afraid of red or want the impact without the high maintenance. And low end... Revlon Fire and Ice in the Super Luscious Matte formula is terrific! The Super Luscious Mattes are a dead dupe for the Lisa Eldridge Velvet Mattes.
Amour Fou aaaalmost made this list! It's such a fantastic red. I used to wear Charlotte's Walk of No Shame for years! You're completely right in that it is the perfect non-committal red. I need to check out those Revlon Fire Super Luscious Matte lipsticks! Thank you for sharing. ❤

Ooh, yes! The blush I fell for and still adore is Surratt’s Artistique Blush in the colour “Grisaille.” It’s a beautiful, nude/grey/almost contour shade. Really lovely and so versatile!
