I’m gonna use an old dirty one. Sounds yucky but I love rustic! And don’t want to throw away my old flags.

I wasn’t sure about using a actual flag so I bought a yard of red and white stripped and a yard of navy with white stars fabric to make mine.
This is a stunning & unique wreath !! I NEVER really prefer a grapevine wreath, but this is so beautiful!!! TFS!! Blessed be!⚘

Do you know where you could find flag fabric if you’re wanting to make this but are uncomfortable using as real American flag for a craft project?
The only place I can think of is a fabric store like a Joanne’s or Hobby Lobby. Hope that helps. 👍🏻💕😉

I always wondered how flags were put on wreaths like this, for some reason I thought the flag was rapped the whole way around. lol Now it makes sense. What could one use in place of the metal star? Hugs, Brenda
Thank you!! There are so many things you could use....more flowers to fill it in, a wood sign, chip board sign from Dollar Tree, there are a lot of options. I know that what ever you used would be amazing!! 👍🏻😉💕🇺🇸
I cringe at the thought of using a authentic American flag.
Should had found something else other than a real flag.
Complete disrespect for the American Flag and those who fought for it. Please educate yourself on how to display the flag. This is NOT one of them.
Yes this worried me too. I love the idea but read that the flag is a symbol of our country and should never be used as a decoration. Some people including Vets gave a thumbs down response to these wreaths. Im hoping to find striped material and starred material to make mine.
