Hey folks - I'm sorry I apparently lost some of the sound in the rendering process that I was not aware of until after I posted the video. And it just seems like not a big enough deal to take down and re-upload. So, there's a few unintentionally quiet moments around the 12 and 24 minute marks. I hope you still enjoy the video!
Loved the video Jen!!
Great video Jen! Wonderful to see you doing things you enjoy and forging ahead and making the most of your days. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Stay focused on everything that is good and wonderful in your life and give no time, space or energy to anything trying to distract you. Looking forward to the next part of your adventures!
Always!!!
Always love to see your road vlogs!
I love honesty when I watch videos , and thank you for that you are always so kind and you keep it real xxx
Love how honest you are Jen. I always get that secondary prescription when taking a strong antibiotic. I don’t even wait for it to happen. Lol. It is just inevitable.
I'm getting on the road soon for my cross-country quest. Your videos are so inspiring. I love seeing other women take solo trips and explore amazing, beautiful places!
So lovely, Jen!
Thank you for sharing!
As someone who lives in Vancouver (Canada, not WA lol), I absolutely LOVE seeing people experience the west coast. Sometimes we take this beauty for granted living here. So glad you’re loving this journey! I think you’d love it up here in BC, if you ever wanted to venture to another country 😊
Hi what a pretty picture you've on your profile! Just decided to stop by and say Hi!! I hope my compliment is appreciated..
I love the blue figure in the beginning of u! Great video.
I enjoy these so much ! I am so inspired to maybe try this out one day. Thanks for sharing your journey. ❤️❤️❤️

***You are an amazing woman!!! You are doing adventures that most of us just dream of doing. Enjoy your time in every adventure, you deserve it!!!***
Hello,how're you doing.?
Good stuff. Looks like lots of fun.
I am new to this channel, but now understand what is meant by negativity. Until you have walked in someone else's shoes, maybe quiet is the way to go. I enjoy these trips, it takes me to another place while working a boring job. Thank you for sharing and I will take my own advice and not look at the comments.
Great video Jen! I love these road adventures videos ❤️ Any plans on making a hiking gear kind of video? I’d love to see your recommendations on shoes, clothing, backpack, tech and what not.
Hi from Montana! Love this!!! Smoked paprika is the most amazing spice...I told people this, too, that smoked paprika is the BEST! Love your journeys and your amazing vlogging.
This was all so beautiful to see, thanks so much for sharing your amazing trips Jen!!
So much fun!!!! It was all so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your journey here on YT:)

enjoying this series Jen, love the list you include, it helps to know what is needed on such a trip. be well, be safe...
Ugghhh… LOVE the LONG videos, Jen! 💖💖💖
I’m often at a lost of what to do when my child is with her father. Using that time to do things that would be quite challenging with kids is such a good idea.
I just love watching all these. The scenery is just amazing. Be safe and can’t wait to see the next
Beautiful places Jen!💓I enjoyed watching this.
This is wonderful..thank you so much for sharing.
What a great hike, congrats! I have the same EC bag that I use for camping showers also. 😀
Hi what a pretty picture you've on your profile! Just decided to stop by and say Hi!! I hope my compliment is appreciated..
Jennifer, what do you use to filter your water at home and on the road?
Hi Jen, You go to the most beautiful places! Thank you so much for sharing your travels.

Thanks for sharing your Washington adventure. Id love to go hiking there! And that is kelp washed up on the beach towards the end of the video 😊

Really enjoying your adventures out West! I have family and friends that live in Sequim. Such a beautiful, peaceful part of our country. Our friends own, River Road Flower Farm, in Sequim. It's a beautiful lavender and dahlia farm.

Hi Jennifer! On your hikes and walks, do you listen to anything? Podcasts, music, audiobooks? Or just listen to nature?
I’ve enjoyed following and watching your videos and vlogs for many years. I have been enjoying this new “adventure journey” you are on now. I think you are so brave in doing this and fallowing your heart. I believe your beautiful happy wonder smiles are getting contagious, LOL. Every time I see that beautiful face light up with a smile, I catch myself smiling with you. ( : Thank you my friend for allowing us to tag along. Oh yeah, I also wave back to you at your closing. I’m such a dork, lol. Stay safe.
You are incredible Jen!! What a view!!!!!! OMG!
So excited to see what's next!
Hello Friend! I LOVED THIS VIDEO! Thank you so much for sharing! Absolutely beautiful scenery and loved your daily talks! I now have a new place for my bucket list! Be careful and have the time of your life! Love your smile and know you are in your element! Hey Blue!!👋🏻
I love the video! You are showing some places that I have not been to in my own home state. I have been to Ocean Shores many times, but never to Oyhut Bay Seaside Village. I have to check it out. The seaweed that you found on the Dungeness Spit hike is called Kelp. I love your zest for adventure...it rubs off on people. :)
Yes, truly inspiring for the solo traveler. We're all there with you. :-)
I just stumbled upon your videos and from what seen i have enjoyed very much. You keep doing what your doing and enjoy your life I think your a wonderful person take care and be carefull
I've been waiting for this adventure! You are in my neighborhood.
I’m so jealous! I think I’d need a week to recover after that huge hike though but the views looked spectacular 😍
Kelp seaweed. A group of it is a kelp bed. I'm just on the other aide of the border from where you were in this video.
You did a lot! I need to get my energy levels up. I would probably sleep like brick too if I did that many hikes with long drives. I always get the best sleep after hiking. It’s the best.
Love your adventures🥰🥰🥰.
You are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!! Oregon and Washington are two states I have never been to so I have really enjoyed watching you travel/camp/Airbnb. Stay safe - I think about you out there on the trails and worry you could fall and hurt yourself... I'm old enough to be your mom so entitled to worry. Anyway, great vlogs and (by the way I love your Captain's Journal). Take care Jen!
We loved visiting the spit. I was so happy to see the bit about the lighthouse because we couldn’t make it 10 miles with our kiddos. So fun!
Hi from Canada, back at ya...but from the other ocean coast:)
So pretty… what is that tube like thing you wear when you hike around your neck. And that radio thing? Is that a safety device?
The tube thing is her hydration pack, and the radio thing is a Garmin satellite device. Both are linked in her description box.

Love your videos Jen. (P.S. mean people suck!) ❤️

Not sure where you're heading next but, I hope you check out Mt. Baker and also Lake Diablo. Mt. Baker is especially cool if you're able to get up to Artist Point. It has a lot of hiking but the parking lot isn't always open every summer, it mostly depends on how much snow melt there is
Hi what a pretty picture you've on your profile! Just decided to stop by and say Hi!! I hope my compliment is appreciated..
I always keep an eye out for sea glass along the tide lines while I'm walking in the mornings. And yes, it's a type of sea weed. Edible.
Would you be able to screen the sunroof (assuming there is one, I can't remember) instead of the windows for a more incognito way to do it, or is that not enough air flow? Beautiful hikes! Really enjoying these videos.
My family and I went to Seattle a few years ago and did a tour of Mt Rainier. It is so beautiful there. I could live out there. The mountains and the forests are breathtaking. You don't get to see anything that beautiful living in the Midwest.
Also, please do a video on your travel journal!

Oh man, if you're still there you can take a Ferry ship to Victoria, Canada from Port Angeles, WA. It's an amazing small trip and back.
As someone who lives in WA and has never been up there I’m going to put it on my bucket list.
Your pearl necklace is very nice and dainty! Do you mind sharing where we can check them?
Hi from Australia. I love these videos and would love to travel to the US to explore the outdoors, however I am terrified of bears. I am planning a trip to the US in the next few years. Any advice on hiking in the US. I have just watched Back country on Netflix
Here's what I've learned. Make noise when hiking so bears know you're a human (sing, talk, say "hey bear" on occasion). Carry bear spray clipped to your belt loop or pack so it's easy to grab. You can rent bear spray easily in bear country since you can't take it on a plane and the rental place will show you how to use it.If you run into a bear on a trail, don't automatically use the bear spray. If it's calm, walk away slowly facing the it so it doesn't think you're prey. Sometimes they'll keep walking towards you because they also want to use the trail. If you're able, you can back away off the trail to let it pass. If it charges you, use your bear spray. If you're backpacking, get a bear canister for your food.
When you park at a trailhead, put all food and anything with a scent (like deodorant, chapstick, etc) in a bear box if available. Some areas say a hard sided car is fine. If you're camping, store these items in bear boxes, in your own bear canister, or sling it over a tree in a sack. Try to cook away from your tent.
Wherever you go, research the area and speak with a ranger so you know what the local rules and recommendations are. You'll also want to learn about encounters with other wildlife, like moose and mountain lions, depending on where you are.
@@heathers8623 Thnak you so much it may be a few years until I head out
I get terrible mosquito bites (they seem to really like me). Lavender essential oil works like a charm if you get it on quickly and frequently for a day or two. It was the one oil that really made me a believer because it was the only thing that really helped with the itch and the size of the bite.
Aaaaaaaaawesome

My home state 🥰🥰🥰
I would love to do hikes like this. I have way too many health problems. I wonder if someone does videos like this, but pullovers and such that have almost handicap access.
What happened to the sound? There are spots where there is no sound at all.
Hi what a pretty picture you've on your profile! Just decided to stop by and say Hi!! I hope my compliment is appreciated..
how do you compartmentalize your life ? I couldn’t bare being away from my child at such distance so effortlessly
Hi what a pretty picture you've on your profile! Just decided to stop by and say Hi!! I hope my compliment is appreciated..
This looks like something your children would enjoy. I understand protecting their privacy, but it would be awesome seeing them part of your travels.
Another lovely video. “Don't you know that there ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough, ain't no river wide enough….
This could be your signature song since you are not allowing any obstacles to stand in your way of achieving your dreams.
With all the kidnapping now day are you not worried alone on long lonely trails? Please be careful
Chicken sausage? No longer vegan?
Hi Jen! Your voice doesn’t sound very well…I hope everything’s okay
Can someone explain how this is safe? I wouldn’t recommend this solo traveling to any of my female relatives or friends. I enjoy you documenting your adventure but were you at all apprehensive at all?
