No matter how many times I watch this it still has me in tears..😂
Me too
Gets me every time, love it even though I've seen it hundreds of times . 😂🤣😂😂🤣
😂😂when you need cheering up. Just keeps me coming back.
and me!
Me too, genius comedy.
Been watching it for years and still laugh like iv'e never seen it before. 🤣🤣
I knew this guy 25 years ago when I was a Police Officer in Liverpool. His Dad Stan ran the local club and Mick would come in after doing a gig. He would often slip his dad a wad of notes and I know he did heaps for charity as well. The salt of the earth is Mick Miller - and a very funny artist with great timing
That was possibly the funniest 3 minutes of my life.
A pure classic piece of comedy beautifully delivered 👏
Old school comedy, one of the greatest comedians around. So many years of laughter. Thanks
“Pours himself some toast” gets me every time 🤣
"And a runny egg 🥚" 🤣🤣
‘Sod it, I’ll have a bath’.
Yep, even after watching it ten times
Water in the headlamps killed me 😂😂😂😂
Brilliant 😂. And it's subtly different from the start when he 'poured himself a toast' - then you could tell the character was trying to think up reasons to drink. By the end there was no trying! All done so subtly. Layers and layers of funny.
Have to tell you...this sketch on a tape I was given by the man himself, got me through a lot of surgery and serious illness when I was younger. Can't tell you how overjoyed I am to see it posted here. Thank you so much x
"Dad, there's a man at the door with a bald head!" "Tell him I've got one!!!"
Comedy at its best ,absolutely hilarious 😂😂
Take me back to "The Comedians" when comics were not only funny but gifted. This is a man at the very top of his craft one of the funniest comics ever.
None of that self indulgent non humour. Oh look at me aren’t I clever and oh so PC! Genuinely funny which is what a comedian is supposed to be, and not some smarmy self appointed social commentator.
AAA man!fucking wicked?
Comedy 🤣 this guy ousesit !
I watch this over and over and still makes me laugh
All the so called comedians of today take note. None of the f word to get a laugh. Just a funny monologue. Great stuff
I agree. It's always a shame when comics feel they have to bring in swearing. Watch Michael McIntyre's first live show on DVD and there's hardly a swear word all the way through... the next one there's far more.
And of course, comedians often get famous on family friendly shows, so have to make their jokes "family friendly" and that's how they get famous and then people go and see them live and it's a whole different matter.
If I had the talent to be a stand up, my difference would be that I'd not swear.
@@ashleyp.4932 you don't need to swear to get a laugh. That's just my opinion.
No you're quite right, much better that comedians exclusively make jokes about alcoholism and hating kids ey ;)
I'm being mildly facetious but what a fucking stupid notion, talk about choosing a shit hill to die on
I have watched this more times than i can remember, thank you you tube... utter utter genius .
I've met Mick Miller and heard this sketch over and over again. I never get fed up of hearing/seeing it, he is a brilliant comic

Classic Comedy thanks Mick.
I only have to look at him and start laughing,he has got such a presence about him,a very funny Comedian.
What a legend. I remember growing up in the North when the Comedians was on in the 70's and seeing Mick just made me laugh before he even said anything - in a good way of course! Great guy, great comic who knows how comedy works. Good luck to you lad
Me and my son Joshua and our family saw Mick perform this sketch to a packed theatre on the P and O Azura ship and we fell about, he brought the house down.
The next day we saw him on deck and had a beer with him and he was exactly the same off stage as on and he stood his round at the bar, buying me a Peroni and educated my 18 year old son that Smirnoff is as good as Grey Goose which will save me a few quid going forward.
Top bloke as we say in these parts
Saw him do this live a couple of weeks ago, explaining how he thought of it. Brilliant piece of comedy. The whole night was The Comedians, and I haven't laughed out loud like that in ages. Fantastic!!
One of the cleverest sketches ever written in my opinion. Great clean hilarious act. Love Mick !!

A friend of mine's 19 year old son (i'm 46) played me this today and i can't remember the last time i laughed so much. Brilliant.
Laughs at its Best. Not many can make me laugh proper and ache from it. This sketch is legend
I've somehow stumbled across this, and I can't breathe.
pour some toast... brilliant !
Absolutely fantastic must have watched this 1000 times
I enjoyed this, but to those saying “modern comedians take note”, shut your holes, humour is subjective.
I also enjoy Doug Stanhope.
Bumped into Mick in Minehead Butlins in 2018. He took time to stop and chat with me for a while. Total respect for this man. Cant wait to see his show again in 2019.
This cracks me up every time, Mick is one of the best... Superb
Feb 2023 and still fucking hilarious!
"Pours himself some toast" ..feckin' kills me every time ha ha!
Hahahaha, this is one of the best comedy acts man, i'm 68 and from Everton, and the red indian scouser cracks me up every time. Angonamo, That's pure class Mick lad, This fella is one of the bets comedians that ever was. God bless you....xx

Anyone else here because of Adam Rowe?
i had the misfortune to work the door on an all ticket gig where mick was the comedian, sadly he was late,i had no idea, and he was wearing a hat,i wouldn't let the poor fella in cos he had no ticket,"i'm the f*cking comedian ffs"..yeah whatever mate the place is full of em f"ck off said i..he took his hat off and i spotted the error of my ways,he spent 20minutes ripping me to pieces on the stage, had a good laugh afterwards but i was booed everytime i appeared upstairs for the rest of the night, great, funny bloke.

Love this Lids.
Have a word 😊
Anyone here from have a word? Lid army 👊
I had to look for clips of him too, so funny last night. This routine had me in stitches
Modern 'comedians' could learn a lot from Mick, like how to be funny.
so true.the "old "comedians sutch as ken goodwin, george roper, norman collier are the best.
ken paul Entwisle. Charlie Williams. Men who could be funny without being crude.
Fantastic..thanks for the share..:)
the first time I saw this....I was in paIn with laughter....still makes me crease up....if I watch it months later...
Mick Miller's Noddy and Stan Boardman's Fokker-Wulf joke are the cream of British comedy..
