Looking good never thought about using a tire to drag , we planted half of our plots 2 Saturday’s ago and the other ones this pass Saturday, they are coming up pretty good , good luck this season hope you get a couple nice ones !! 🦌🦌
@@mickeynorton5311 yes the tire is just so convenient. It doesn’t rust or break and it always sitting there waiting on you each year. I just hope too much did not wash my seed down the hill. We will see??
@@michaelsticka7839 I might have the same problem. Year before last of have the problem on this same food plot. With it sloping down hill that can easily happen. Good luck🤞
Gonna give you a tip for your food plot next season. After deer season around February go disc your food plots up and plant Crimson clover. It has to be Crimson. Let it grow until it's at full bloom late summer. Go back and disc it under while in bloom. It will put high nitrogen level into the ground and you'll not need any fertilize for next year's food plot and it will grow like you won't believe!!! PS i disagree on the corn thing. It's no different than a pearl tree, apple tree or food plot you just planted. It all is used to attract deer to harvest. The food plot is there at night also. 🤷♂️
@@gadawgs8911 I’m going to have to disagree with your disagreement. 9 out of 10 times you will not see a trophy deer at a corn feeder at 12 noon. You will see deer but I am looking for trophy deer compared food plots. This is just my opinion, I laugh when I see the guys with a truck load of corn. I mean the tailgate is dragging the ground it’s so much corn. When all they had to do was to buy a bag of seed and some fertilizer and planted a food plot. They would have all the deer they needed. Sometimes I go years without shooting anything just waiting for that trophy. I’m not look for just meat but is fine for the people that do. I just know the three guys in my hunting, one is me and two other brothers that don’t use corn has trophy deer hanging on the and the corn users may have one or two and some of them I would not have shot. Just my opinion.
I have not been back since I planted them but looking from my cameras the Pear food plot is greening good. My other food plot is growing slower than the Pear tree. It only has rain just that one time. We need some more rain maybe we will get some with the new hurricane coming this week.
