I've been addicted to Killer Cars recently and can't get it out of my head -- could make for a decent reaction idea!

When I was at Woodstock '94, WOMAD had a group of great artists from around the world playing Sunday morning and some drunk jocks screamed them off stage with "Greenday" chants.
I like Greenday. But it is not great music. Those WOMAD artists were playing something new to my ears.

Yes the Beatles are mainstream and yes they are the greatest band of all time in my opinion. And objectively there is a strong case to be made

As for a radiohead, what about "how I made my millions"? And please listen to some Foo Fighters stuff as veiwers request. But not just "everlong" or "the pretender", I'm pretty sure you're already familiar with it. You can listen to "Hey, Johnny Park!" or "My hero" from the album "The colour and the shape". Cool album which is really describing that era of late nineties

I definitely wasn’t mocking or complaining. With it being brought up several times I thought it would be an interesting twist.
I personally don’t rate many of the 60’s bands. There was so much garbage around then, you only needed to be half decent to become big. The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, for me fall into this category. It’s a hill that I’m prepared to die on.
Muse’s Matt Bellamy is a superb guitarist and musician, but as a band their output since Black Holes and Revelations has been patchy at best.
I think I’d better put my tin hat on as I can see a mob with pitchforks and torches coming my way.
    Finally… Yep… Daily Mail!

Oh no worries at all. Your comment just reminded me of one several weeks ago in which someone was confused as to why we spend so much time in our cars. I thought it was a chance to explain that listening in a long car ride is a good thing and a place where music appreciation happens

Half decent! That's because the whole industry was nascent at the time. That's like saying America's military from the 90's is way better than Britain's from the 60's. I mean, it's culture changes, technological advancements, and new and now standard practices that lead to that. Not necessarily just better quality individuals. Is the NBA better now than it was in the 60's? Of course! But don't sleep on the pioneers of industry and what they built from scratch. And even with that in mind, to this day, with the population soaring, nobody has outsold the Lennon-McCartney-Harrison songwriting trio that ended 52 years ago

@@the15thfloor71 For driving experiences I recommend The War On Drugs. Start with their 2nd album Slave Ambient. A gorgeous way to make the miles disappear (day or night). You don’t need to do any form of reaction in any way, shape or form… just enjoy it.

I really like Tame Impala. Kevin writes good songs. Tame Impala is innovative in a very safe way.
Tame Impala is not as good of a band as Portishead, Air, or Animal Collective. They are far far far away from Talking Heads, King Crimson, and Pink Floyd. They shouldn't be mentioned in the same room as Radiohead.
