hahah i am literally you but from the generation of your son, 17 years old and cant get enough of this people... promise me you wont stop with these videos till you convicne your son! radiohead is amaznig
Despite the attitude of Jacob to long outros I really love this one and see a point in it. It starts as a usual song, but as it gets further it flares up like a fire and eventually there comes a blow of sound in guitars screeching and drumming and after that it gets blown out and the album ends. Truly a good ending of a good song
Ive been enjoying going through all these episodes and checking out both of your reactions to some of my favourite songs, theyre pretty entertaining. I think if I were to reccomend which songs to listen to next, I'd say either "Exit music (for a film)" or "Bullet proof... I wish I was"
6:52 hi, he's actually using the ride cymbal for 90% of this song up to this point the other 10 is on a crash cymbal, there was no high-hats being used here.
Damn I haven't listened to this song in ages it's so much better than I remember it being. I might have to go back and listen to Pablo Honey again cause it's been a while.
You and Blow Out are the only tracks from Pablo Honey that are still well worth listening to. 2 solid tracks which book end an album that was of its age. I keep Radiohead for my own listening pleasure too. They’re too precious!
First time hearing this song, I have never listened to Pablo Honey from start to finish I much prefer King of Limbs or Amnesiac. The closing minute or so sounded like Ride, who also came from Oxford and did the shoe-gazing thing far better than early RH did. So glad they made that left turn with Kid A, everything they have done since including The Smile has enthralled me.
I'm a huge Radiohead fan and yet I am not very familiar with Pablo Honey. I must've listened to it from start to finish 3 times tops. It's an album I don't have much interest in listening to. I do remember "Blow Out" and can see sonic similarities to later Radiohead.
i dont think ill ever really like pablo honey - it doesnt even sound like radiohead - but this songs ok i guess xD. Idk - most of pablo honey sounds uninspired.. if youre into leaning towards thom yorke's solo stuff, id recommend "Atoms for Peace". Its really beautiful vocally although it doesnt offer much instrumentally. Or anything from his solo album "The Eraser". have a good week yall
