I love this idea! I bought these instead of "tea towels" because I was confused on the 2. Then when I opened it I was surprised to see how big they are. My grandma's bday is coming up and I want to make her some. I am going to cut them like you suggested. Thank you so much for this video!

How far from the bottom are your designs? I struggle with that. People do so high on the bath towels too. I like your placement.

That is a really hard question to answer because it is different for every one. But a trick to try is print out your design (nothing fancy just black and white will work) and that will give you a great placement.

Beautiful! You make it look so easy. Do you sell your work? I have a PE770 and would love to upgrade. When did you know it was the right time to get a multi-needle?

Thank you. I do sale my work.
I knew it was time to upgrade long before I did. This machine was on swap and shop for sale. The lady had bought it and didn't know how to use it so she sold it. It was practically brand new for a great price.

I’m just beginning to stitch on flour sack tea towels. I have alway loved using them. Purchased some from an estate sale maybe 35 years ago. They lasted for around 25 years! Time to get some new ones, so, I decided this time I’ll stitch them myself. The nice thing is that I found flour sack tea towels at my local grocery store in the kitchen section: Package of 3 for $4.79. Less than $2.00 each. They are a little smaller than yours, but, I’m keeping them the size as is; not cutting them in half. They are 30”x32”. I will use them! Should they be pre-washed before stitching?

Prewashing is a personal performance. I do not prewash mine and have never had an issue. But that is completely up to you.

Gorgeous! I love that thread too! Can I ask what variegated thread it is?

so technically you get 4 towels instead of two right? You did a nice job at seaming those towels....
