    not that bad considering a Benz AmG black motor cost 70 gs+ from dealer. Also how has the maintaining been?

  • @qatariot
    @qatariot 5 лет назад +3

    Great content fadi.Looking at the total money spent on modifying your huracan you end up paying 69850$ to get 1300whp. Looking at UGR stage 3 package which is good for 1250whp for 99,000$ but with a built engine in the process. Do you thing the extra 29150$ worth the engine build for your peace of mind or you think your engine with the stock internals would run for long enough with such power?

    • @BoostITFORward
      @BoostITFORward  5 лет назад +2

      I think that’s the base kit for the stage 3 UGR. I am pretty sure you’ll need to pay more than that to get all the goodies (motel ECU, etc.) so it ends up being quite a bit more. But as of now, this motor has been doing great! I am not gonna build it until I have to. 👍

Not unless you get a buyer who really can appreciate the work and the expense. The stock Huracan is so fast out of the box that most people who you give a ride to would think that its blazing fast... And the aesthetics stay the same so you would still get the same reaction to the car...if your street racing or dragging the car yea it makes sense... Other than that seems a bit excessive but hey its all relative to your check book though so it may be just be a few extra bucks for more excitement! But I do love Huracans but in black lol!

Hardly because reiterating my point earlier if you plan on keeping the car yes its always gonna retain its value to you but to a non enthusiast it'd be worth a 1/4 of what was paid... @@lorenmorgan2010 You can always buy a 1000 dollar civic and for another 10-15k destroy the vette. That argument is over done. Bikes, Civics, Corvette's aren't in this space. As far as a twin turbo supercar build its amazing value considering his twin turbo Huracan cost less than a stock 488, Aventador, and 720S. 305k all in, sell the car a few years later for 185-200k. You owned and destroyed a 1300hp over a few years and only lost about 100k. That's insane value for a 1300hp supercar!

    • @lorenmorgan2010
      @lorenmorgan2010 5 лет назад

      @@CincySupercar hmm I think you may be over estimating future value of a car with aftermarket performance parts... I was a private dealer of European cars for 8 years and I went to highline exotic auctions Manheiem in Florida and Pa and when the exotics with sooped up engines ran through the lane they would barely bring any more money than the factory cars did a lot of time dealers didn't even bid on them because the manufacturer won't warranty the mods on the car and you have to do a lot to get it to pass inspection so unless they could steal the car a lot of them didn't bring the money you would think and I've seen almost every modern exotic you can imagine. Again that value is only good to an individual you sell it to.. And if there like me I want a deal and I mean a huge deal!

    Fadi, what's your max rear wheel hp on 93? Also, did you get a e85 tune on your car via syvecs? Seems e85 would be like running race gas.

    Good stuff Fadi. Make sure your future videos are more facetted and not all so focused on the Huracan though. I get that it's a cool car and attractive for views, but while you are building your subscriber base, I think you should try to branch out so you don't become TTHuracanDude.

      The E gear trans was revised starting in 2009 with a tune to rid itself of its jerky mannerism at low speeds and I believe they went to different clutch disc material. I'm running a upgraded ceramic clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate. Perhaps Fadi could put up some content on the pro and cons since the Gallardo was born compared to the current models.??

    • @BoostITFORward
      @BoostITFORward  5 лет назад +1

      Problem is I’ve only owned a manual (04 Gallardo) then an LP560, so I don’t have any experience with the 04-08 E-gear cars. What I can tell you is my LP560 e-gear was very good in stock trim. You may only be disappointed when comparing to the Huracans DCT, otherwise, you’ll probably be happy with it.

    nope.. I would buy a red 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate and strip it down to nothing but leave interior and exterior bone stock, even the cassette player. Then put a Mustang II front suspension, Ford 9 inch rear end, and a 392 Hemi with a 8-71 blower on top of a 6-71 blower *TWIN BLOWER* sticking outta the hood, keep it manual shift and SURGE the crap outta it with some big meats (tires) hangin outta the back... NOTHING BEATS OLD SCHOOL!!!!!!!! Italian made with American parts! I can always put the top down and get all kinds of reactions and still look cool, green Lambo not so much...

    which do you like more the porsche or lambo? hehe

    • @BoostITFORward
      @BoostITFORward  5 лет назад

      They are hard to compare because they serve different purposes. There is nothing more exciting than the Huracan. It’s bold, in your face, and the engine sound is to die for. The Porsche is subtle, compliant, and pretty plain - which is exactly why it’s the perfect compliment to the Huracan. If I had to pick just one as a weekend car, it’s the Lambo all day. If I had to pick just one as more of an everyday car, the Porsche is the easy choice. 👍

      Don’t go above 650 wtq on stock trans, and make sure you have upgraded plates, baskets, and cage. That will hold 750 wtq safely. DONT drag race the car unless you upgrade the diff, diff axles, and 1/2 shafts.
