Tried this, and I have to say it is the best money saving tip for dish washing liquid I have tried so far. Doing this made the really cheap dollar store dish soap I have on hand cut through the grease with one wash instead of two. Using it on my stainless steel sink made it shine like new. I even mixed some up and put it into a spray bottle for a multi purpose cleaner. It left my appliances shiny. Love this!!!! Thank you so much for sharing. My dish soap is going to last forever.

This sounds great.You could add glycerin to that and it will thicken up like store bought dish soap dose.Glycerin is about $2 for a nice size bottle. its not expensive.
Thank you so much for this valuable information. I just made my own concoction based upon your instructions. I'm very impressed and even amazed with the results! A person can use a natural and chemical free type of soap in addition to the vinegar and baking soda. An excellent type of soap to use is liquid Castille soap such as Dr. Bronner's. More people need to know about the value and usage of homemade natural type products. So many products from large corporations, such as big pharma, big agriculture, and big industry manufacture products that are unhealthy for humans and the environment (Monsanto naming one among many).

I use my own 100 percent coconut soap for my dishwashing up liquid. I make my own lye bar and I melt them for my washing up liquid. All natural

Wow it so simple ingredients and result is shiny abd clean
I just made a batch of dishwashing liquid with zote soap, but I am definitely going to try this also. I use a one of those hand soap bottles for my dish washing liquid and it works great, helps save the liquid. Thanks for the recipe!

Hi, can I use apple cider vinegar currently I don't have white vinegar with me.
I think I will try this, just using castile soap instead of dish liquid; I was going to try castile soap instead of dish detergent any way; sound like a winner! Thank you!
Hi, thank you for watching my video. I heard that castile soap doesn't work with vinegar. The soap will curdle and the oil separates from it. Anyway try and see only a small quantity.

Mam, Do we use Apple Cider Vinegar instead of white vinegar?
And Do we use natural lemon juice instead of dish washing liquid?
Use white vinegar only, not apple cider vinegar.
You may use any organic dish washing liquid if you don't like to use regular one but do not replace it with lemon juice. because you already have white vinegar in it.

The dish liquid works good. Easy to make and cheap. I make my laundry powder. I use 3 cups of washing soda, 1 cup of baking soda, 1 cup of oxi clean, mix all together, and I use 2 to 3 tablespoons per load. I make my liquid laundry soap with 1/2 cup of blue dawn, 1/2 cup washing soda, 1/2 borax, to a gallon of water. I use 1/2 cup to 1 cup per load.

Any other alternative to make complete natural to generate little froth when washing without using liquid in this.
You can add natural dish soap liquid which will give little froth.

Hi thanks for watching. When you mix baking soda with vinegar, it reacts but it still cleans well. It is not like mixing dish washing liquid with some water. Try it out a small quantity. You will definitely like it.

Okay seems like a good recipe. But one surely can't use it in a dishwasher as a detergent as its not in powder form. This looks more like rinse aid. How do I use this kind of solution in my dishwasher? Please reply.

Any way, I don't use my dishwasher everyday. But whenever I use this is what I use. Like I said in the video, it does not give a lot of foam but it cleans well. I put it in the dishwasher just before I turn it on. I pour the liquid, close the liquid and turn on the machine. And it cleans without leaving any residue.
If you want you can change the recipe by adding little more liquid detergent.

They have sold liquid dishwasher machine detergent for many, many years. Just fill up like you normally do with the dry stuff.

Thanks for watching. No, it doesn't cause any harm to the dishwasher or the utensils. I wash all my utensils with this liquid. I am using safely on aluminium, stainless steel, silver, plastic, ceramic and wooden. It is also gentle on hands.

You can store it as long as you want in the glass or plastic container.
How long it lasts for you depends on how much you use. Make a small batch and see how long it lasts. Then you can make a large batch.

Vinegar is a safe disinfectant for normal household cleaning. Vinegar kills normal household germs unless there is dangerous bacteria. So the dish washing liquid is good for hand washing the dishes because it contains white vinegar. I hope I answered your question.

+elta role Hi Thank you for watching. For my knowledge baking soda is stronger than baking powder for cleaning. If you want to use baking powder you need to use 3 times more than baking soda. I hope this helps.

Vinegar and baking soda are excellent cleaners when separate but not together. Let’s make this common knowledge in the community.
“When combined, vinegar (an acid) and baking soda (a base) fizz (the reaction) and cancel each other out, which is an awesome science experiment for the kiddos. This fizz is caused by a chemical reaction, resulting in basically salty water which neutralizes the cleaning power of both ingredients. Now, salt is used in some of my favorite cleaning recipes, so I’m not saying salt is bad. If you want salt water come visit your nearest beach, just don’t mix vinegar and baking soda with the hope of making an awesome cleaner.”

It's two parts vinegar to one part baking soda. Sodium acetate is created, not "salty water," which is a natural preservative. Baking soda is left over, which boosts the dish detergent, that's why it works. Baking soda has been known for decades to boost the cleaning efficiency of detergents. If you don't believe me, take it up with Church and Dwight. They're the makers of Arm and Hammer Baking Soda. On that note, have a great day. :)
