    How about making a big funnel. You could build a special table with a big hole in the middle that holds the funnel. The snake drops down into the container, then slide the temporary cover between a small gap between the funnel and container. Maybe only works for small snakes.

    Dude I keep hearing you say snakes won't chase you but again I say come to Georgia and interact with our wild female cottonmouth snakes and you will stop saying that. One chased the boys right up the hill from the creek onto the patio and we had to sneak around and hit her with spray from the water hose to make her go away. That was NOT a snake "trying to flee" in the wrong direction and any creek swimmer in South Georgia can tell you a similar experience they either had personally or to friends and family. It's okay to want to believe they're all friendly "more scared of you than than you are of them" critters but only if you stay away from water in these parts. Maybe come observe our wild population before assuming everyone who says a snake chased them was imaging it, misunderstanding it or outright lying.

    Do you feel like handling on RUclips adds an entire new level of risk for yourself? What I mean is instead of 100% of your focus being on the snake, part of your focus is on the camera and what you are saying. If it were me I would want 100% of my focus on the snake.

    • @venomman20

      Yes I am great with split focus but if I sound dumb as a box of rocks this is why most my focus is not on what I'm saying

      @@venomman20 well for what it's worth I haven't ever heard you sounding dumb. I do get what you are saying though. So off topic I'm a little scared of snakes like most people but I love watching these videos and got to thinking the other day how snakes arent any more dangerous than my dog or cat or any other house animal. I mean obviously venomous ones are, but I'm talking non venomous. I picked up my devil kitten the other day and he swatted me right in the eye with his paw, clawed me & jumped down. I was left thinking "damn his little paw to the eye was as quick as a snake bite" Anyhow your videos have been thought provoking and I enjoy them.

    So you do have a cameraman I thought it was on a tripod this long why doesn't he like zoom in on the fucking snake so we can see the snake or not so worried about making sure you're in full frame because that's taking away from actually being able to see the snake and detail I thought you had a tripod we hardly got any close up shots at all of the snakes and what kind of lights are you using everything's like yellow washed is there some type of filter on it like that leucistic snake supposed to be white it looks yellow everything is yellow a color is terrible I normally don't have these problems I'm trying to figure out what's going on this is my fire worst video he had no good shots of the snakes and the color is way off I don't know if you're using some type of yellow Limelight shit or something but the colors are really muted that leucistic snake does not look white

    • @venomman20
      @venomman20  5 лет назад

      This is why I bought an additional 1,000$ camera because the camera shake zooming back and forth is dumb as hell. If you watch into the video a little ways you would see during my edit I switch back and forth multiple times. At this time I was using about every house light I had this was before I invested in decent lighting which is still hit an miss
