@@whatof1122 Hey, believe it or not, disabled people can have fun! 🤩 One of my best friends has severe epilepsy and is one of the most hardcore gamers I know. He's played mario kart with our friend group many, many times and has not had a siezure once! The accessibility issue here was caused soully by the hackers and not by the game itself. Hope this helped!

I stopped playing Mario kart online back during the Wii days. Mexican hackers were running wild back then. Battle Mode hackers had unrealistically fast karts.

The one time I've ever encountered a hacker in MK8D traumatized me. It was an Isabelle player, I have never been more terrified in my life cause all she would do is just throw millions of red shells, so many red shells, they were everywhere! they were item cramming in front of her kart too cause that's how much it was spammed, the funniest part was she intentionally didn't front run so she can spam red shells at everyone, it was a warzone of red and she had no mercy

@@patrickwalter8175 Yep, I was only 9 when the servers went down and I never played MKWii at that point, but my brother would play a lot of MKWii online with me watching in the background and half the time at least, he would fall victim to hackers online and it really annoyed him.

The rarity of hackers in MK8D is shocking to me given how insanely common it is in the Wii U version

As a loyal Taiwanese viewer for 12 years, I would like to say that this is not necessarily Taiwanese... It may be a hacker from China or other countries. Taiwan does not have e-Shop, so logically it will not display Taiwan.

There are a lot more of them in Lobbies. They're just way more sneaky. The ones in Troy's Lobby were way more obvious because they knew who Troy is and they knew that they would appear in the video because its interesting content aside the average Mario Kart Online expirience which is a mixed bag. The game itself is great but Online sucks so much and makes the races even more unfair and unfun.

I actually never encountered hackers online in MK8, only some Adolf Miis...once even two in one lobby. I agree with the general online being quite broken at times though, especially the item balancing which often just doesn't work the way it should. I love Mario Kart and played it since the 64 one, but I can't play MK8 online for too long, it just annoys me too much with all the unfair shit that happens and ruins my races way too often.

@@chococya I grew up watching and loving his content when I was really young, like I remember watching videos like quacker island when they were released when I was like 6 or 7, and I think around 2019 or so his content kinda started to lose its feel, and now his content feels like any other mario kart youtube channel. his old content still entertains me too, so I dont think ive like grown out of it or anything

The few hackers that ive encountered used a speed hack so they could drive like 10x faster than everyone else so you'd see them zip past you in a second then fall off the edge then zip by again

Certain tournament lobbies have hackers, I just played in Blue Shells Only to get a breath of fresh air from regular races and I queued with the top guy and no one else. I didn't suspect much on the first race and thought this was regular shenanigans for the tourney. However, the lobby was full of CPUs for whatever reason.
On the second race however, I found out why the lobby was full of CPUs. I caught the guy blatantly item hacking at the very start on the first turn of Madrid Drive because there was no row of item boxes before he started chucking the shells.
I don't think I'll play there again. I hope that guy that joined just before I left didn't smash his Switch.

I have run into one hacker on MK7 before, overpowered items were being spammed EVERYWHERE.
Mario Kart 7 hacks are extra painful when they spawn a blue shell into battle mode, which can escape the map and cause a crash.

I forgot how much I missed the Nintendo community lol. Came from the forza horizon fanbase and so far, since then, a huge DLC has come out (instead of a new game) which “recycles” older tracks, and I’ve now witnessed hackers in Mario kart, and no one really cares, they just vining and enjoying the game. The Forza horizon fanbase is just in constant despair and depression for the most part.
