Great review. Hideo Gosha was a great director of samurai films, sadly the likes of Hitokiri, Goyokin and Hunter in the Dark are all largely unavailable at present. Three Outlaw Samurai is also very good but an expensive buy.

It's "Yakuza Wolf" I'm waiting for. I prefer the gangster films over the samurai flicks
