I think the song that most exemplifies this Deftones feel is "gods". It's almost a cover of theme with Goon Squad and When Girls Telephone Boys. Not a criticism. It's fantastic.
The singer writes all guitar, bass, piano and lyrics and drummer writes all the percussion. The bass player and guitar player only play when touring. Now not sure if they will start writing as well in this new era coming up but before all the writing was done by Vessel the singer and ii the drummer. Vessel can’t play all live so that’s why they fill in when touring. The bass player has been with them since the beginning touring and this is their 3rd live guitar player but I’m sure this guitar player is permanent now. He has been with them a while now.

Idk if anyone has spoken on this yet but Sleep Token is completely anonymous. They wear masks, long capes and paint on their skin so no one can identify them. Thought that was a cool fact about the band.
