So if you're up for the rabbit hole which is Sleep Token, i'd advise to start where it all began at the first album, which is called Sundowning. It's followed by This place will become your tomb, and the conclusion will be the album Take me back to eden where this song is from. And they have some earlier EPs too. You will not be disappointed. Worship :)

High Water, Nazareth, Say That You Will, Telomeres, Atlantic, Aqua Regia, Rain… if you’re going to claim to be a fan of their music and say there’s ’so many of their songs you need to check out’ you would know there are better songs than the ones you listed
@@Alzoryne Well I'd be one to recommend even Thread The Needle, but still, the "mainstream" songs especially The Summoning are songs that A LOT of people still have not heard of, and I doubt they would even recognise the name 'Sleep Token' (for now at least). This is because prog metal itself isn't worldwide mainstream, you don't hear it on your main radio station or shopping centre speakers. These "mainstream" songs serve as a gateway into their other albums, ep's and "smaller" songs that even a lot of Sleep Token fans dont usually listen to. Please, as a hardcore ST fan, understand that the popular songs deserve just as much attention as you and I think the other songs do, and they are not bad choices to start on.

Well... Here's a brief synopsis. As stated in other comments, there are 4 members. However in the studio, it is just Vessel playing all instruments and singing including his own background vocals and ii playing drums. They have a 3 album cycle that tells one story of working through the stages of grief of a failed toxic romance (likely a past musical partner). It is wrapped in an invented lore about worshiping a deity named Sleep, but underneath the lyrics all fall back to this relationship and how he got over it. Some reactors go on the full journey in order and that is rewarding, but not necessary. Other songs that are fun to check out are Take Me Back to Eden, The Summoning, Bloodsport (I prefer the version "From the Room Below"), Higher, and Sugar (if you are feeling saucy). But I love almost all their songs.

Without a doubt, ii is one of the best drummers I have ever heard (it's hard to top Danny Carey in my mind, but ii may). There's a reason he shares the songwriting credits with Vessel. Great song to start off with 😂 the “anger” towards the end is spot on. Vessel the singer will purposely use screams or voice cracks to add to the emotion of the lyrics. I’d recommend continue with this album before earlier projects and just avoid the last song Euclid. Great song to end with after you listened to some earlier projects. Really nice reaction! This band is phenomenal. I saw them live this year and it was incredible, full of emotion, mystery and just exceptional musicianship. Their music takes you through pain, insecurity, longing, anger, desire, heartache and hope. Someone said they share feelings you’ve always had but couldn’t put into words. I will, from time to time, put my headphones on and listen to their entire discography. it’s worth it to listen to their discography (2 EP’s, some singles and 3 full length albums that are a trilogy of sorts) in order but that would be a lot of reactions! But I am here for it if you do! Just came across your channel and love it. Definitely will continue watching other videos. I recently was lucky enough to see sleep token live and I will say this was the best show I’ve ever been to. It was absolutely incredible. Seeing, and hearing them live was out of this world. Beautiful. Sleep token is definitely a vibe 💯

Hey Double Take Reacts, I literally just discovered your Channel now. I've watched like a hundred Sleep Token song reaction videos before I discovered your channel lmao. Yeah, Sleep Token are AMAZING and so pleased you two both loved this song. I don't think people realise just what a masterpiece Ascenscionism is, fun fact, it's the only ST song to make me cry too! If you haven't already, I suggest doing a reaction video to Sleep Token's song called Rain, its so good! They have so many good tracks!

That’s why they won best Heavy Metal Album 2023! Award given to their producer Carl Bown this year 2024, who said when the album came to him to produce it was already a masterpiece created by Vessel. Start from the beginning of the three albums! Enjoy the ride 🎉 Worship 🙏🏻

Really nice reaction! This band is phenomenal. I saw them live this year and it was incredible, full of emotion, mystery and just exceptional musicianship. Their music takes you through pain, insecurity, longing, anger, desire, heartache and hope. Someone said they share feelings you’ve always had but couldn’t put into words. I will, from time to time, put my headphones on and listen to their entire discography.
it’s worth it to listen to their discography (2 EP’s, some singles and 3 full length albums that are a trilogy of sorts) in order but that would be a lot of reactions! But I am here for it if you do! But if you don’t want to do that I would recommend (and just my humble opinion):
