@@mtgspecsafter running Liberty prime myself, this is my argument for why he is more essential as the commander than Madison. The science Deck is built more around creating artifact tokens than it is focused around bringing artifact creatures into battle. there are even synergies in place that let you take advantage of creating and ultimately sacrificing artifact tokens. throw in academy manufacturer and you reinforce the strategy exponentially. I also founded an easier time creating artifact tokens then I did bringing out artifact creatures. My only real gripe is that Liberty prime does not have menace or something to make him unblockable. but, I think you could give the big guy something like menace anyway.
in many ways, I would suggest that science was loosely inspired by buckle up. One example that comes to My mind is the backup Commander, Liberty prime. and for the upgrades, I only have three in mind. academy manufacturer, Piper and junktown
@@mtgspecs The best part is, the big guy generates energy and card draw simply by sacrificing token artifacts. something which, this deck conveniently generates lots of. Madison only get you one energy and even then, it's pretty much contingent on casting artifact spells. so, simply creating tokens like food or treasure probably wouldn't do it I imagine. we're not getting my signs that, Liberty prime is going to be my commander. I have seen someone play the backup Commander for buckle up and he does a really good job with it. and as I've said, Liberty prime is pretty similar.
@@mtgspecsan update on my end... I got to try out science with Liberty prime as the commander and it works out beautifully. there were definitely some synergies that people do not consider for this deck, like combining the vending machine with academy manufacturer and Liberty prime. Liberty prime as well as every other creature will definitely get super beefy in this deck as well.
@@mtgspecsI have played with dog meat and mutant menace, both get super beefy in all the right ways. as far as pure flavoring and a fallout aesthetic? I think it's absolutely perfect. The thing with mutant menace is that, you could easily defend against it. All you would need is a life gain strategy with some ideal cards perfect for shuffling your graveyard into your library. maybe even throw in strong to soak up those radiation counters to increase your life exponentially.
I think it’s clear out of the 4 they put less effort into the Energy One, knowing that another Jeskai Energy Precon was coming a few months later in MH3.
Definetly a 'seed' product. Did introduce me to my big boy, Liberty Prime - question is, do I upgrade my LP deck with MH3 or keep it all Fallout cards?
I still think Madison Li is the stronger commander but Liberty Prime is who you ACTUALLY want to lead
Definitely, a close run thing. Looking forward to finding out when the decks arrive.

I'm putting Liberty Prime together today just from Fallout cards. We created him on Stream a while back. Piper and Junktown are in there.

You didn't rank it amongst the other decks. What are your thoughts... 1, 2, 3 or last
Third place, for sure. Mutant Menace takes first place, Caesar second and Dogmeat, last.
