Bought one recently for my birthday, only gripe I have is the 2023 besides the PL, other than that I really like it a lot. After I oiled the internals and greased the slide, it racks like butter, really well machined pistol.
@@GBGuns I know, but if you look at the first batch that came in, they only had the PL and the crest alone, its just aesthetics anyways keep up the goodwork!
I remember when I first stumbled on these (on the interwebs) and was eager for someone like GB to get their hands on one. Its definitely odd but I think its cool.
I'm glad you described the "beavertail" as not tacticool. That feature makes it look as though muzzle flip may be an issue. I hope the metal frame and beefy spring mitigate what looks like a flippy firearm. Interesting review as always, can't wait for the what's for dinner with this; I'm sure that I will learn why you desired this particular gun.

@@jepslife420 Yes. As we're one of the only channels to ever give them much attention, and have covered the four rpevious models they were going to get one to us "in a few weeks" as of last January.
12:00 very good, the decocker doesn't leave the hammer against small parts (like on my taurus), after decocking the hammer rests against the slide. VIS 35 also have an interesting decocker. Most designers just ignore lessons from the past.
Born and raised in Poland. Radom, the town it's made in, is subject of several jokes (the most boring town in the country). That being said, I'd love to have it in my collection. I'm not worried about quality. As much as I love America unconditionally, average quality from Poland means upscale quality in the USA.
I have been too! Maybe it's just the way my mind works, but the few videos I've seen on it don't follow any protocol and so I don't know how to assess the pistol.
Excellent explanation on this firearm. Thanks for sharing. I love the look and all metal frame, but they are asking way too much money for 9mm combat pistol. I thought about grabbing one but for $1000 I'd rather invest that kind of money into Sig MCX, Spear or aimpoint, trijicon or thermal sight.
Very nice looking I like it, similar take down as on my Polish Mag-95. Nice to see the Polish Eagle on this model too just like my Mag-95and P-83 handgun.
Radom made pistols in the past that basically copied the fire control from an early Beretta 92 verbatim. With Vis.100 they build upon that heritage and make it more of their own with the frame-mounted decocker. Personally I'm fully onboard with this, but the space used by the DA/SA mechanism is largely what accounts for the slide sitting so tall above the grip, as well as the CZ-82 style of the trigger guard (or should I say Gen3 Smith style perhaps).
Very Interesting, esp being Optics Ready....Until you get to the price. An Arex Zero 2s...(Optics Ready when they become available) is the BEST Pistol No One Knows about! My Range Review goes live this Saturday.
Hi. Iam from PL. This is refresh of old design MAG95 and 98 pistol from military trials. Now FB radom release first polimer piatol ,,MPS" (soon). It will be modular like Army Sig. Good movie. Regards
I will pick this over glocks, HKs, Sigs and all polymer framed pistols. This is certainly a high quality product when compared to plastic made pistols.
Oh man that "high end model" comment brought back a flood of memories building scale models as a teenager and every once in a while stumbling into a "holy $*&% what did I buy?" kit.
@@scaleworksRC Hahaha, I know what you mean! I was super excited about a Katyusha kit only to open the box and find the instructions were all words and written in Russian (a few years later I learned Russian, but never built the model)
As a big fan of all metal guns myself.... I don't see myself spending that much on one of these. Looks almost like they started with a high-power and made the grip lower instead of giving it a longer beaver tail. Looks to me like it would be a fairly flippy gun. That being said....still absolutely want to shoot one.
@@GBGuns It definitely looks nicer overall in comparison. It also reminds me of the Lionheart industries firearms. I don't think the price is terrible either, especially if you look at the market for full steel sa/da handguns.
@@GBGuns My silly hick brain is limited on vocabulary sometimes. Sometimes I use steel synonymously with metal as if it's the only metal out there. My apologies XD Love your content.
I can see its VIS 35 (arguably one of the best pistols of WW2) roots. Mixture of old and new. I don't need or want it, but I believe it will serve Poland well.
I'm not one to generally get too worked up about bore axis height, but I'm thinking about how high the red dot would be perched above my hand. Jumping back & forth between this and something like a Steyr would pose quite the training challenge. Unique, but probably won't nudge an Arex Zero 2 off my DA/SA wish list.
@@GBGuns ah I did not know! I have an XDM Elite (which is DA), which comes with a flat trigger. The trigger is really comfortable for me, but it was designed from the jump for a flat trigger.
@@drewbydoobydoo2918 The XDM Elite is also striker-fired and although it might be a partially-cocked striker (though I thought they were fully-cocked) it's not a true double action.

Atlantic is k ow for having the guns few others do. They're selling these at about the same price as the importer; that's called a loss considering they have to buy and handle them to sell them.
It does have an odd aesthetic, I was trying to figure that out, thinking it's that the pistol is long for how thin it is. Once I put the other grip pannels on (later in the video) it looks more normal.

This is a pretty normal bore axis for a DA/SA. Bore axis doesn't even matter anyway, I don't know why people get so worked up over it.
I think at least part of the reason it looks a bit odd is the diagonal trigger guard.
