However, please consider that these specific dogs are working dogs, and that long flappy ears are fragile and likely to be damaged and cause pain to the dogs if they rip when they are adults, so cropping them early might spare them future discomfort.

And the dog might be gentle with his kids, but that doesnt mean it will be to one it doesnt know or if his kids reach teen years and start fighting with each other like me and my brothers used too... can see this ending sooo badly because ive seen the same thing before and it always ends bad sooner or later.

I don't think Kobe should be training with the children yet; his competitiveness and drive outweigh his respect for his owner, Kobe challanged Marlon which surprised me. If Marlon had any other dog on his arm, besides Hulk, there could have been a real serious incident here. Hulk is perfectly trained and has the utmost respect for Marlon and his family. After watching Marlon train for years my instinct tells me that he should pull Kobe aside for more one-on-one training. Marlon needs to revisit the basics; remind Kobe that no matter what he's feeling inside, Marlon is the pack leader and he is not allowed to react outside of his pack leader's commands!

I'm not trying to discriminate but it does raise a little fear in me.
