Cool deck. Gishath was my first commander deck I ever built (I call it "Dino-Genesis"). I also run a few "doublestrike" enablers in mine to get more potential value out of Gishath's damage trigger. Also, as cool as this deck is, I'm guessing it's not exactly budget friendly. I usually try to set a ceiling of $100 per deck I make. I only ever went over that limit one time (so far) when I made my "Sliver Evolution" deck with Sliver Hivelord, and that was only because a lot of slivers got reprints in the Commander Masters set. So, I figured while it was still above my usual budget, it was probably the lowest price I'd ever get it for.
i made a Gishath deck (also my first deck ever) with just a box from the new ixalan set (did i get extremely lucky? yes). However priced out even with cavern of souls it only costs 112 bucks. Soi got my money from the box and a really sweet deck. Also, a caveat, i am not the prime target in my friend group whenever we play commander so there is that as well
I just subbed. Will you do a ojer kaslem deepest growth mono green deck? I have the skeleton but I am new to magic as of MOM and I don’t know a lot of the older cards. I am calling the deck Ramp and Stompy
It depends on your play group. For me this is what I'd do. Cut: Ixalli's Lorekeeper Drover of the Mighty Itzquinth, Firstborn of Gishath Silverclad Ferocidons Thunderherd Migration Don't Move All these cards are cool but you could be playing way better stuff. For the mana dorks just play: Birds of paradise Bloom Tender For Itzquinth and Silverclad Ferocidons these dinosaurs just aren't very good. You can replace these with more spells that offer protection or removal. Chaos warp or Summer veil are some examples Thunderherd is worse rampant growth, plus you could just play something like natures lore that can grab your triome Don't move's art is so cool but for me, farewell is always a get out of jail free card. That said it depends on what your playing against every week and how much you care about winning when your commander is eight mana.
@@ManaMoot Fair enough :) Do you honestly feel that Gishath is better than Pantlaza if i'm actually trying to win? I know Gishath is super strong IF he connects, but i feel like The Pantz feels a lot stronger for a lot more of the game as far as actually doing things.
@@anthonybalista7421 If you want to play Dinosaurs, Gishath is king. Pantz is still very strong but it only triggers once and the trigger could just give you a mind stone. If your finding that gishath can't connect then you need more cards that tap down blocks like authority of the consuls. If gishath can't resolve then play Allosaurs Shepard effects. If your playing against turbo fog then lets be honest your not winning that game. This is a cool conversation and I don't think I'm 100% right. There is a lot of nuances to make a deck better.
@@ManaMoot That's fair and i appreciate the perspective believe me. My mindset with Pantz is that if i can blink things i can get alot more value, though that does involve running some cards i wouldn't run otherwise in that deck. I'm gonna have both in the deck and i think that the main deck will be similar enough that i could swap between the 2 as the commander and have the games play out comfortably enough. All i know is i'm excited to try me some Naya Dinos and i'm gonna definitely do my best to terrorize people at my LGS lol. I play things like Sheoldred, Solphim, i just built Chatterfang etc. I have Zhulodok and he's fun but i feel like Dinos are gonna be a better version of that and more fun lol.
@@BugManiacRoy because by the time you've connected with gishath you've already won no matter what you get because of comander damage. Patlaza constantly provides value throughout the game
@Breviparopus you speak as if connecting with Gishath 3 times is easy, it's not. But it's still miles ahead of Pantlaza, the value of 1 thing compared to more is monumental, and especially with the ability to hit any Dino and not just discover for x, I run 42 Dinos in my latest iteration of Gishath, and I haven't whiffed once. I connected for 1 trample and got a Hunting velociraptors, so I did what pantlaza did while also getting my opponent to a lower life total
As a Gishat player u cant just switch commanders and expect it to work, u need to build the decks accordingly, Pantlaza is a blink tribal Dino. I still keep Gishath commander I feel it's a true tribal dino but the weakness is everyone will target ur commander or board wipe immediately. With Pantazla u can build board and try to play around
I love the pirate voice you really have a knack for voice acting MR Mana Moot :DDDDDD
Always a pleasure to see more Dinos, are you gonna get the Jurassic Park sleeeves? ❤😮😂😊🎉😮🎉😢❤😊😊❤😮😮😂😢❤😅❤😊😂😊🎉😮😢😂❤😊

Could you share your Dinosaur´s list? ^^

More dinos! Love to see reprints for fun, Timmy creatures that are way too expensive.
Im very here for the jokes and being a moose hust makes them better
Hahaha! Love the humor in this one!
Dinos are so cool! Just so pricey! Time for the printer.
Love the intro Also, nothing wrong with covering reprint commanders. Still Ixalan innit, lol.
LET'S GOOOOOOO, MORE DINOS!!!!!
Also Mr. LlamaMoot. You're always asking us how we're doing, how ya doing?
I'm doing great since I have awesome people like you watching my video!
10/10 intro, definitely trying this deck out.
I just subbed. Will you do a ojer kaslem deepest growth mono green deck? I have the skeleton but I am new to magic as of MOM and I don’t know a lot of the older cards. I am calling the deck Ramp and Stompy
Yes! I'll add it to my list. I'll make sure to cook up something fitting of that name. Welcome to magic!
@@ManaMoot I just saw your ghalta deck and that is about what I did with my ojer deck. Just dorks and stomps
Cool opening to the vid! Have shared
Of course you've gotta have jurrasic park stuff
🔥🔥🔥
how do you feel about roaming throne here? it seems pretty great right
It's very good! I stayed with a dinosaur theme(Art on the Card) but power level wise the roaming throne is really good.
After this video I might have to switch out my Pants for Gishath lol removal is just so rough against him.
❤❤ Great Opening 😅 😍♥️♥️🫎🫎🔥🔥
So what cards would you include/change if you weren’t sticking to pure “Dino’s in the art”?
It depends on your play group. For me this is what I'd do.
Cut:
Ixalli's Lorekeeper
Drover of the Mighty
Itzquinth, Firstborn of Gishath
Silverclad Ferocidons
Thunderherd Migration
Don't Move
All these cards are cool but you could be playing way better stuff.
For the mana dorks just play:
Birds of paradise
Bloom Tender
For Itzquinth and Silverclad Ferocidons these dinosaurs just aren't very good. You can replace these with more spells that offer protection or removal.
Chaos warp or Summer veil are some examples
Thunderherd is worse rampant growth, plus you could just play something like natures lore that can grab your triome
Don't move's art is so cool but for me, farewell is always a get out of jail free card.

What about putting Huatli planeswalker in? Gaining life equal to highest power seems pretty awesome combod with a gigantic Ravenous Tyrannasaur.
My son built his Gishath deck after original Ixalan rotated.
It would stomp this build, especially after the new upgrades.
Have a deck list ultra?
Patlaza is better in my opinion
In what universe?

I highly disagree. Pantlaza is a different style of dino commander that can’t go as wide as easily.
