BEAUTIFUL
Thank you so much 🤗
Absolutely beautiful.
Thanks!
Beautiful
Thanks!
Do you seal it with anything? Looks beautiful!
@@reneet4933 if it’s a high traffic piece I suggest dealing with a spay wax.
Beautiful work.
Love it! You make it look so easy too.
Thanks!
Thank you so much!!! I was just wondering this morning about using on a painted canvas !!!
Thank you, I have a very old tall stool with the idea of renovating.
I love everything you create. You are amazing!!
Thanks Susan! :)
Thank you! This is wonderful to know. It is lovely. 💕
thanks Beth! x
I love that...that piece is beautiful...I have a question...can you use transfers on lace?
Thanks and great questions... I'm not sure. I've never tried. I'm guessing yes but it may not apply perfectly as the lace has a little texture.
@@SalvagedInspirations you're welcome and thanks for answering my question
Does the transfer on fabric not need a top coat of something to seal it???
Thanks for the tutorial!
We didn't seal it and it has held up really well. However, I have sealed transfer fabric with this spray-on wax and it works amazing. dixiebellepaint.com/waxes-glazes-and-finishes/waxes/spray-wax/?_ef_transaction_id=&oid=2&affid=14
Oh, your video was perfect for my next project! Not sure it’s going to last because I’m putting on an arm pillow. I’ll take off the pillow cover and put the transfer on. I’m so afraid it’s going to rub off but I’m doing it anyway😋. Many thanks for your tutorial.❤️
Have fun!
Hi Denise! Question: how do I seal it?
Very cute.
Thanks Linda!
Very helpful video 👍
I'm so glad Diane! Thanks for watching. 😊
EXCELLENT Video...
Thank you for sharing...
Note: the background noise/music was a little too LOUD making it hard to hear and understand you at times...
NO need for background noise... We just want to See and HEAR YOU Talk...
I appreciate your feedback, thanks!
I live this idea. I was thinking about doing pillow covers. Do you protect with anything?
Very heplfull. Love it, it turned out beautiful.
Thanks Annette! :)
would you need to put any type of sealer to you're 1st transfer you did?
Do you need to seal it so that it can be washed, if so, what with?
applying a wax or spray wax works really well for protection but I don't know how well that will hold up to washing. ???
What did u seal your drop cloth or fabric wit bc I used IOD transfers & prima & had 1 crack, with large breakage lines, & the other one peeled off. I varnished in & it looked great until the next morning 😢
I would suggest a spray on wax or waterbased wax. This keeps it protected but super flexible.
Thank you for the great informative video! I am planning on putting a transfer on outside ends of a couch that I painted with chalk paint. Would you have any suggestions as to what I should use over the chalk paint and transfer? I don't know if I should use the spray wax or one of the Dixie belle top coats? Thank you!
This is a little different, but I stenciled over drop cloth fabric. Can I used a top coat over that?
You sure can! The Dixie Belle Spray wax would work amazing. :)
I would like to know how do you seal it, what do use use if any
A spray wax works fabulous over the fabric and so easy to use. dixiebellepaint.com/easy-peasy-spray-wax-8oz/?aff=8
Did you seal the transfer?
Love this idea!! Was wondering if you could seal it with the dixie belle clear top coat, have you tried that? Thanks for sharing.
did you ever find out, I want to do it on my jeans!
How did you seal it afterwards
So no top coats needed?
It really depends on how much use the piece will get CJ. I didn't top coat because this is more decorative. But you could use a spray wax to protect for light use. I wouldn't recommend using a transfer on fabric for a high traffic item tho... like say a kitchen chair.
