I've had this compressor for about a year after my old Timbertech tankless packed up. Had no issues with it at all. It is quiet and I can airbrush all night without waking the wife.

I've been looking at getting into RC airbrushing. Been looking at this compressor and Badger Patriot brush

@greedy3d480 not yet. If I get my Amazon cart it's like $165. I just got 2 cards paid and I'm still debating to buy piece by piece or everything at once

I ended up just ordering everything at once. Got this TC tank/compressor, Badger Patriot 105, Grex Airhose, quick disconnects, cleaner & needle oil

Thank you for this review! I've been wanting to dip my toes - fingers? - into airbrushing for a while now, just because I'm tired of rattlecans for priming and also want to get smoother skin on my miniatures, and this one kept coming up in searches for "inexpensive and good". Amazon Canada has one that comes with a Fengda airbrush, too, which is perfect because I don't want to buy an expensive one only to break it during cleaning. $130 bucks for the set instead of 300+ for something more well known? Hell yeah.

how do you unscrew the thing at the bottom to release any potential moisture?

Thank you so much for this and your previous videos.
I'm new-ish to miniatures painting and never had an airbrush.
I've blught some display size models (knights, mages etc) and realise an airbrush will give smooth coverage thsn a brush.
I see this compressor does not come with an airbrush.
Does it come with a hose?
And what is your latest recommendation for the actual airbrush?
    Thank you for any advice.
    Jonathan

Hi no hose I'm afraid...Airbrush depends on budget I've done a few vids v where I've tested airbrushes have a look at em see what you think👍

Hello good sir!! I’m looking to buy a compressor with a tank. I recently purchased one without a tank on Amazon that I will be returning. Would you recommend this bad boy for painting miniatures?

*Greedy 3D* does this small compressor provide enough pressure for a small air duster pistol ? e.g. for dusting a PC or a drill press for shorter pulses of air? or is it too weak and entirely designed just for airbrushing ? many thanks

    • @greedy3d480

Is say it'd blow dust out of a pc

Anyone know what pressure the tank is turning on and off at? I can't find it in the description on Amazon.

I have seen some video here on YT where it was noticed that the unit shut it self off when the tank was full. not exactly the same brand name, but there are multiple of those units that are identical but with different brand names and very small differences (different color, slightly nicer packing, maybe slightly better or worse manometer etc. but I believe the tank and motor the same)

Just got mine, manual says fills to 4 BAR, then restarts at 3BAR. So far trying to figure out working pressure, as of yet gauge just seems to show fill pressure, working would me more useful. May need another inline gauge?

When you say you felt air from the cooling system, what did you think was causing that? There is no cooling fan in that unit. I've got the same one. If I use it for extended periods (30 mins +) it gets very hot. I'm going to do a cooling fan mod on it. Fitting x2 12v computer fans. There's a tutorial on YT.
