    When i started airbrushing several years ago i only researched airbrushs and air demand for them. All i was interested in ar the time was just getting to the end result.
    Now i am actually learning there are airbrush accessories that make life so much less frustrating. Like airbrush holders built to mount on the aircompressor.😂 i wonder why i didn'r care about this idea before?😂

    this video saved me from an absolutely stupid mistake. I have a similair compressor and my air pressure regulator also has a "push lock" which i've never encountered before. So my logic was to press down as hard as i could on the dial and then try and turn it. I couldn't figure out if I just have weak hands or if i was doing something wrong untill I stumbled across your video showing me to lift the nob hahahaha

      @@BARTSHARPAirbrush hi i getting a similar compressor with 3L airtank; with regard to the airbrush working pressure. once it is set, if i use the spring below the air filter to release water and air inside; will the psi gauge drop to 0 so that i can unscrew the knot below the airtank to release the moisture inside then do i need to re-setup the working pressure again?

    • @BARTSHARPAirbrush
      @BARTSHARPAirbrush  Год назад +1

      @@leomr1504 If you press the spring air/water release pin you will only lose all of the air (from the tank) if you keep the spring pressed in. You won't need to reset the working air pressure after using the moisture release spring on the AFR. You only need to use the AFR spring if there is a visible build up of water within the clear section of the AFR. The brass dial, under the air tank, should be used frequently to drain any water build up in the air tank (you don't need to overtighten as the inner part should have a small o-ring which forms an airtight seal. Over tightening can cause the o-ring to compress or become damaged). Hope this helps and happy spraying!

      @@BARTSHARPAirbrush i just gotten my compressor. With regards to removing my airbrush for cleaning,i assume i should turn off my compressor b4 remove the airbrush from airhose if not air will just keep coming out. Also with regards to draining water buildup in the airtank, should i do it everytime after use n just leave the valve open overnight?

    • @BARTSHARPAirbrush
      @BARTSHARPAirbrush  Год назад

      @@leomr1504 Hi, yes turned off compressor when disconnecting your airbrush as air will be lost through the hose (unless you have a quick release adaptor which i recommend). You may only need to drain the air tank once or twice a week depending on use. Happy spraying mate!

    This helped immensely. I recently got in to airbrushing so a complete novice. I picked up a timbertech compressor off amazon to go along with a badger airbrush/hose. Aside from the fact the badger hose is a 1/4” connector to a 1/8” regulator but that’s a whole other story. The instructions included with my compressor were lacking at best.. so had no idea how to set ‘working pressure’ but this helped me a lot.

      Hi, it depends on what pressure you are running it at and if there are any short breaks between spraying. Compressing air produces heat so the compressor unit gets hot and has a thermal safety cut off switch. To extend spraying time you could try using a desk fan to cool the compressor unit. : )
