Anyone else emotional when listening to this? Even after years of listening to this song, I still find myself getting so emotional listening to it, I get chills and feel like I'm going to burst from some sort of emotion I can't pinpoint.. I'm not talking about sheer quality, but the underlying message hidden deep beneath the story that you can make out if you read between the lines. All it takes is to close your eyes and recite the lyrics, and couple it with the powerful instrumentals and melody, and I just let the tears flow.
I really don't like my voice, so I rarely try to even sing anything. This is one of the few songs that get me to just let it all out, get that scratchy tone in, let my voice crack and all. So, yes definitely very emotional and as you said a "raw" aspect to it.

Cevio seems less likely.
