Would you say that the compact frame is better than the full size one? I come from Denmark where conceal carry is illegal so that doesn't matter for me. Only going to use it for target shooting
@@rayndown it becomes a matter of personal preference. I like all PDP models. About a week ago, I bought a Walther PDP Pro SD Compact 18+1. It became my top favorite.
Great review, lots of close ups. Just impulse bought the gray 5" full size PDP it was on sale at my distributor. I don't have any 5" 9mm pistols with adjustable sights, this will be my first. I am planning to use it as a target pistol. Probably my last gun purchase ever before this Measure 114 BS takes effect in Oregon.
My plate never came. UGH. Purchased PDP pro in early December, sent in for my plate on Jan 3, and it still hasn't came. Had to order from a vendor. Love the gun, hate the customer service. Called twice and was told "were out of stock." I'll try the Canik or something else until the sort out the plate thing.
Congrats on that beautiful pistol im, loving my 4.5" full size ,i was really lucky because it was the last one tbey had in stock, have been checking a lot of sites and all of them ( Canadian sites) are out of stock for some time now,I love the grip, the trigger, is just flawless, like most RUclips videos say,its quite snappy ,I would agree to that,i guess that would probably be an account of the weight of the gun, happy shooting and stay safe✌
I have the pdp and the p10f, both are very very solid. I cant speak to the hk as i have no experiance but I would contend thatvits a dead heat. Choose what suits you.
I've got the PDP arriving tomorrow and have the other two. I have shot the PDP, and because the PDP is optics ready out of the box, I'd say it's the winner. The downside right now is the lack of accessories, especially extra mag's.
I want the compact version because I have a PPQ Q4 TAC, and the magazines are compatible (I have 4 magazines 15+2, and in my country is difficult to get them).
I'm currently debating about getting the PDP vs Glock 34 vs MP 2.0 5" model. Can anyone that has the PDP tell me how it's been running? Any problems feeding? Durability? Appreciate and comments on this.
@@mrglock2313 Right?? If you can't pronounce the name of your weapon, you obviously are a shit shot too, and should probably give up shooting. It's common knowledge!
@@TacticalAdv Waiting for my local guy to get a 5" compact in & will pick one up. Got lucky over the last year I bought a 5" M1 PPQ & loaded up on new 17 round mags through same buyer for $20/each......good to go in the M1 mag department for sure 👍 When I see what some online dealers are doing to prices now I will likely never buy from them again. My local guy could likely close his shop & sell online to make far more $$$$ but he's been very fair so continued support there. Picked up my PDP for $625 all in out the door.....

I own the Walther PDP full size 5" barrel (18+1) and the compact size 4" barrel (15+1). Nothing but praises. I am extremely pleased.

Try academy, I got mines there and they had a few of them.
Damn, that thing is just beautiful
Nice my next purchase

I love my compact...great ergos and the trigger is amazing..only thing I’ve felt better is my Springfield TRP Operator 1911

Love that pistol!! I just picked up a CZ P09...now All I need is the ability to choose which one to run. Could be worse...

Well. I didn't realize the 5 inch model was going to have a longer pic rail section too. Wonder if it will be the same for the compact grip 5 inch?
It is. I've handled one at one of my local shops, and the rail is exactly the same.
@@claytonmutchman4527 Sweet. I've only seen the 4 inch models in my shops. A full length rail is pretty darn nice looking.
I didn't know you had a PDP! Got one on the way, wish I'd talked to you about it at the ASPNC.
Walther PDP, HK VP9, or CZ P-10? All would be full size and optics ready versions. What’s your thoughts?

Love that intro music!
Can you tell me which optical plate you got? Just bought this gun but have some time to order the specs while I do the waiting game. Thank you!
I want to try glocks sights which one u thank I should try
I really want the compact version.

Ordered one a couple of days ago from Big Daddy Unlimited!
What’s with the rubber gloves like serious question… I noticed a lot of folks are doing that now days idk why
Cant speak for others but I actually have severe allergies to some lubricants.
Perfect video, short and sweet!
Thank you! more to come
What does this retail for or where can I get one for a good deal?
The slide wobbles compared to my old XD. Just my opinion and observation.
Awesome gun.
My wet dream is a P99AS with 6' barrel.
Really debating on selling my PPQ M2 for this guy.

How does the Walther PDP 5 inch compare to the CZ P10F? Comparing both for Carry Optics.
Soon!
Any thoughts?
I just got a PDP 5" ODG from GAG for 433$
Wow, lucked out with that plate.
absolutely, that guy saved my bacon!
They are supposed to come with 3 mags, I think some scumbags are removing 1. My gun came with 3 like it's supposed to.
Here in Germany they come with 2 mags either.
@@Frenchy1848 maybe I got lucky?

Pricing magazines right now a guy is not to far off to simply spend the money to add this 5" if they already have the 4.5" 👍
