I miss this show. It was the first “how to” car show i was introduced to back in the 90’s. The fine attention to details, tips and tricks. Followed by no nonsense or clowning around is why this show will always be my favorite. As usual. Great show guys. Thank you!

I love seeing an old legend Brought up to todays level.. As built in 70 The Cuda had terrible manners, bad brakes, horrible oversteer, shocks that were too small and under sized sway bars- If they were even included. Just a slight overkill on the power plant, LOL. Thanks for doing this build!

I remember when it did get up to high speeds the window trim ripped off the front wind shield. I would of made a custom fit window area and super epoxy the window in the super Cuda. Also I remember when they were ripping around in the car prior to the top speed rips it broke a suspension or arm piece. I cannot remember exactly what it was but I would focus of those two areas and fine tune them. Oh one more area the hood was lifting up at high speeds. Stiffen up and re enforce the hood. Also maybe some wind tunnel testing along with the grill area they put some duct tape on it. Could re work and fix the in coming air in the grill. Those are the areas I would focus on. I am sure there are some more. Thank you for the awesome video.

    • @legendarymotorcar

Right on Jeff! Some wind tunnel time would be hugely beneficial for these high speed passes!

Today there are multiple full carbon fiber cars such as Speedcore's 1970 Charger "Evolution". I would love to see you guys do another Super Cuda in all carbon fiber you should have a lot of the work/molds done already from the original Super Cuda.

I would add a sequential transmission from PPG, for faster shifts, and the suspension, pull-rod style double wishbone in the front, and push-rod style double wishbone in the rear, and probably throw some 20" wheels, sizing up 285/35/20
up front and 355/30/20 in the rear....

I would add a sequential gearset fro PPG, utilizing the same T56 gearbox....
Straight cut gears, dog engagement, flat shifting.....
With this modification, it would definitely hit 220, maybe 225 MPH.....
