I used to take the same bus and shop at the same grocery store as a swedish celebrity, and I even worked as an extra in one of his tv-shows, but I never interrupted his day or anything like that. I just minded my own business. I think it's pretty common here to just ignore them actually. 😅

I adore this "How Nordic Are You?" series. I wish Netflix would do one for each major region that Netflix streams in. So, we can learn about one another's cultures with lots of humor and appreciation for the diversity within cultures.
To be honest, one of the reasons I loved Swedish people that much when I visited Stockholm is that people would randomly start talking to me. They would ask how I was doing, where I was from, how I liked Stockholm etc., it was just, like, keeping each other company while we were waiting for the metro, the boat etc. It was the nicest thing ever!
Land Masses and borders that change over time do not have anything to do with your Lineage or who you are.. That is defined by who your parents are and who there parents were etc.. Nothing to do with nations or cultures or anything else.

Alas we could not go home together since we were both staying with friends who wouldn't allow it. Sad!

It's easy to mix up since Swedish uses the same word for both things

as a fellow nordic person there a couble of tiny issues, biggest one is the puplic transport thing, in denmark or most of the north it is expected that when you are above the teenage age you stop talking loud, you kinda lets everyone have their private space, and then if a convo do start its mostly about smalltalk and not an actual talk (more about passing silent time than about talking at this point) we have alot of this in the nordic country. beside that when it comes to the looking in the eye's of the ones you talk to is consideret a sign of respect and understanding and a commen frase in denmark is look me in the eye's when iam talking to you (a parent telling a kid to behave)

Starting a conversation like you know someone is seen as strange but swedes are really happy to help turists so asking for directions etc are no problem at all and swedes will happily do their best to help. Most swedes also speak fluid english but if they don't they might be a bit shy.

S2 Takeshi is mean like I don’t like his personality compared to S1 so I definitely think that has an influence on how we perceive the actor’s ability. I genuinely believe that Anthony is a good actor and good choice (as is shown in those emotional scenes such as the execution scene) but I don’t like this Takeshi yet (only on episode 5) because of how he’s been treating Poe for example.
I don't usually start conversations unless it's something I feel like talking about relevant to something in that moment. But if someone talks to me I'm down for a conversation no problem.
