The short answers are arguably the most nordic thing.
Netflix: "Do you talk to strangers on a bus?"
Me: "He's barely talking to us."
Do you know him personally?
Lol yes 😂
You know what's most Nordic about this? The fact that the scale cannot go to 100%. It always has to remain a little humble.
Hahahah that's so true!
Janteloven for fa'en
@@BenjiEnergy Jantelagen är den bästa lagen.
Lagom nordisk.
As a dane, I can't think of a worse nightmare, than talking to a stranger on the bus.
Swedes are the same xD
And don't even try to sit next to someone you don't know. Or someone you kbow for that matter
Kåre Jensen I can relate makker
as a dutch person, i always wish they didn't act like this, but they do. the bus is like a zone where your further apart from the people next to you than anywhere else...
Why?
😅 already his short answers are a good sign his is very nordic
Or Spartan (as in being laconic).
@@lausthaue9512 maybe it is more extreme as you proceed more to the nord... I don't know😅
Aaand its a stupid stereotype🤣 obviously not everybody is the same
What does nordic mean-?
@@piyaraa that he is from a Nordic Country (Scandinavia + Iceland & Finland + associated territories)
Loved his role in The Chestnut Man, solid actor
Agree!!
I've just started to watch this. I've also just seen him in: "Borgen" and a Danish film about German POW's having to clear landmines after the war recently. He's a very versatile actor
Yeah, it's clear he doesn't just "play himself", very talented.
add 10% for his name
I am soooo proud of him! Loved him ever since “en kongelig affære” Mikkel, du har talent!
Asta Hoeygaard Hansen Nå ja det var ham!
Kalex seriøst god film🌈
THANK YOU! All these 3 seasons of The Rain, I was thinking that where the fuck I saw him and why I can't remember now there I saw him first!
Det er virkelig en god film faktisk.
I want a third season I binge watched the second in a day so pls I need more

He was also in the movie "Kvinden i buret" which Lucas (Rasmus) is starring in too, and in the movie "Under Sandet" with Louis Hofmann.
He's such a good actor 😙
He answered exactly like I would have. And now I'm little in love with him...😘 Come to Finland kære Mikkel!
I'm amazed! This morning I watched a video of this girl from Yakutia about the clothes she wears in -40 degrees Celsius. Someone had written the quote about the bad weather and bad clothing in the comments, and now, a few hours later, I am watching this one!
Such a sympathetic guy! 🥰
Has he been the most Nordic person in this video series?
I think so...
Has anyone gotten 100%?
Me: *Typing:"i en kellasong san gol ella dubas neede" in google to understand what he sung*
FilooFox hahaha love this 😂 it’s actually “ I en kælder sort som kul, aller dybest nede”..
HAHAHAHAHA omg. this is hilarious to read as a dane
😂😂😂
I think thats dutch lol
Haha, it's "I en kælder sort som kul, aller dybest nede." It's a children's song and means.. "In a basement black (dark) as coal, all the way at the bottom.."
Netflix: So, how nordic are you?
Mikkel: yes
I'm Swedish, and the only thing out of these questions I'd fail on is the coffee. I don't drink coffee at all, unless people point a gun at me. And believe me Swedes do. Lmao
Swedes don't eat rye bread the way Danes do, in fact it is hard to find rye bread in a Swedish shop (that is not crisp bread, that is)
When can you make an inappropriate joke about something terrible? -Always! LOL So true, no grace period, you pretty much just start spewing sarcasm and irony.
literally AT the funeral:)
Come to sweden and do that and youll be hecking exiled 😂
Too sooooon
@@osaniss well he's danish so nothing is holy!
he's my new fave guy
I do not know why but he reminds me of Richard Armitage. When I saw him the first time I was amazed. Is it just me?
He literally has an accent and ø in his name. He’s Nordic
So he basically said yes to everything but still doesn't reach 100%? How does this shit work? I mean I'm sure it's just whatever percentage they wanna give him but it should be possible to reach 100 if you do the nordic thing for everything
Oisky Poisky well he didn’t
@@juliehansen2097 He said the non nordic answer once but then did get points for mentioning that it's american. So logically not crossing the street at a red light without cars should be worth 17% which is absolute bullshit cause it's not this special nordic thing at all. Compared to Americans this might be exotic or special but there are lots of other countries that are not nordic where people also do this. And these nordic-ness videos are just a silly thing and not worth actually discussing cause lets face it it's not that deep but I'm still annoyed about how little this is thought through.
Oisky Poisky I think that crossing the street at a red light with no cars is what is considered Nordic. In the US you can get fined for jaywalking, but that would never happen in any Nordic country
Mustaparta it’s actually illegal to cross a red light in Denmark. It costs 750kr if the police sees you. Where are you from?
@@juliehansen2097 Norwegians do it all the time
Just finished watching Chestnut man and Valhalla murders, Scandanavian crimes dramas are my new thing 👌🏾

I'm a Finn and I got the same result as he did LMAO I wished to see Finns on this show but we don't really have any famous actors who could be on this sadly.
You do have famous Formula 1 drivers. They’ve had a Danish F1 driver on the show :)
What about the actors from Dead Wind? I love that show and it’s pretty popular in Brazil. Maybe Netflix should make interviews with the two lead actors.
I think the Finnish accent can be quite ermmmmm.... well... just watch "Ghostface Has A Finnish Accent" and you'll understand why not that many of us make it in foreign film industry.
@@-Anjel I don't have an accent like that though. Some of us don't have a strong accent that wouldn't make it.
@@sarairina Neither do I, too much British tv growing up, but most of us do. My flatmate, who's an exchange student, has difficulty telling Finns apart by just voice. Apparently the flat pronunciation causes everyone's voice to sound the same.
A group of exchange students were visiting, and they were talking about how everyone has the same accent, and they don't know when something is a question, exclamation or just a statement. Everything is said with the same flat speech with the harsh letters that do not blend. Even though some might not have the stereotypical Finnish pronunciation, we do not emphasize in sentences as strongly or at all. If a Finn spoke Finnish like a native English speaker spoke English, they would sound like they weren't sincere or were mocking.
That was very interesting! 🤣
0:40 germans can relate.
More like: do you talk to strangers?
YeetGodNicNacAss nope haha.
Some of it is a Northern European thing, not just Scandinavia, ie crossing a red light.

as an Australian i talk to everyone on the bus they know my life story by the time we get off haha 🤗👍
Almost perfect score

Oh he's so cute 😍
I realized I’m already Nordic myself. Have lived both in Denmark and Norway. 😅
MIKKEL MARRY ME
Oh, hi, your majesty! Did your schizophrenia ger better since the last time I saw you? No, serously, I saw this guy in The Royal Affair, he was great!
Hahaha! I love your comment its so relatable and I too recognized him in the role of Christian VII of Denmark in "A royal affair" :D
Who is this guy ?
I'm danish, and i have 👌 idea.
Oh my goodness, he reminds me so much of David tennant :D

What would a thick pancake score if it's cooked in a cast iron skillet and without any baking powder b.s.? I'd argue that would be more Scandinavian since the thin ones can be confused for crepes and we cannot allow any Frenchness, can we?
Thin pancakes are the only pancakes we know basically in many European countries ,we don't consider them French at all
@@SRBOMBONICA86, yes, that's my point. Thin pancakes are too ubiquitous to be considered typical for Scandinavia, when there are quite unique versions of thick pancakes that have fewer counterparts elsewhere in the world.
Highest score I have seen yet

I'm not sure what they mean by a single or double duvet. Do they mean having two duvets or is a matter of thickness or what? In the US single and double are bed sizes so I'm confused.
Its when a couple shares a bed, americans usually have one big duvet that they share. Here in scandinavia, we have one normal sized duvet each
@@osaniss Oh. Why? I like sharing one big duvet, because I like spooning and I like our skin to touch.
@@moonlily1 Its just different in different countries, there is no golden standard. Could always just ask you the same, why do you have double duvets? :D While it sounds cozy, i prefer having my own duvet so i can roll around with it and "fold it" (i put it between my legs and hug it like a pillow) during the night. Also a double duvet would lead to the classic "stop pulling the duvet" haha :D So generally i think single duves are smarter. You can still spoon and have skin touching but you get to decide over the duvet :)
@@osaniss I've never asked myself why there's only one duvet, it's never occurred to me that you might do it differently. But if you each have your own duvet, when you make the bed, which one goes on top? What about the blankets and flat sheet under the duvet, are they separate too?
@@moonlily1 Since its a double bed, they lie beside each other. We dont have two double/big duves each, just normal/single sized ones :)
Eeh, we dont have blankets in our bedding here in scandinavia, we just have fluffy good quality duvets with duvet covers on. Flat sheet, i take it you mean the sheet you sleep on? Its double just like the bed so it covers the whole bed.
Ok, this Slav must secretly be pretty Nordic then. I had the same answers as him except for 2.
I'm from Spain and I did too, so....xd
how does this quiz work? i would problaby say no to half of those things, but doesn't make someone less nordic, it feels more like stereotypes
Also why does the red bar go up after he answered the red light question? Is he Nordic because he crosses the street at a red light if there are no cars or because he acknowledged that that might be a very American thing to do? I don't think that is a very American thing to do btw...
Nordics don't cross on a red light (unless on a bike), so it must be the acknowledging it.
@@Sigart Thanks!
He’s amazing in the royal affair
I wonder what it would be like if nordic sense of humour falls in love with british sense of humour and has a baby with it.
Let's not? The Americans would go apoplectic and you know how they are with things they don't get.
the old story goes that the famous british dark humour is actually from the danish vikings who invaded and migrated there.
I’m so sad that the series ended 😭😭😭😭
is he martin??
Apparently my grandma was Nordic as she did all of these.
Holy smokes! This guy looks like Scandanavian David Tennant
Have you ever blood eagled an enemy?
Season4 pllzzz
Who talks to strangers on a bus? that is crazy to me and I am nowhere near nordic lol
I don't, but I've been "targeted" by others and it's not a pleasant experience. I'm not Scandinavian either.
Okay
Now wait a minute, nordic or not:
who speaks to strangers in the bus, and who cuts the queue ? A maniac, that's who !
Always single duvet.. Always... Its not scandinavian to have a double. Its actually even been proven through studies that a single duvet lets people sleep better, no fighting or tugging through the night because your partner stole it all and your shoulder gets cold.
What’s the whole deal about the duvet?
In Scandinavia people usually don't share a double-sized duvet, even if they are a couple and sleep in the same bed. Most people have two separate duvets but sleep in the same bed, and to me that's kind of like the best of both worlds, because you are close to your partner, but you can still sleep, and not have to fight over the same duvet.
Oh my goodness I can’t imagine. I could never. I need at least a full. I need to be totally wrapped up like a burrito to fall asleep. I have some friends that have had a queen size since grade school. I’m from America btw.
whats wrong with talking to strangers?
I am guessing just by his name he is Norsk?
They should replace the ice scates with skies though, seriously more Nordic that..
What's a single duvet?
Damien that’s the duvet size for a single size bed
In some countries people who sleep in the same bed only have one big duvet that they have to share, while in Scandinavia people have one duvet per person.
Why didn't he get 100%?
He crossed the street when it's red.
😄👍
Do alisha boe Next.
How is that not 100%???
Get Viggo Mortensen... see if he's more Nordic or Hispanic
Why Hispanic? He's Danish/American.
I don't get it, if he answered all with Nordic answers, how is it not 100%? Was he competing with someone else off screen or something?
I think he answered just one question wrong, and on top of that maybe for some of them he didn't give the "most nordic possible answer"? I don't know, this rating system isn't exactly scientific, and I think they just give them percentages however they want :)
I am Hispanic how I ended up herehahaha
Now, let's find out how many % human he is...
You Actually look like Rick Grims
Nordic david tennant
This behaviour is very dutch as well
we are close neighbours after all :}
Confused, what does coffee have to do with being nordic?
Scandinavians drink A LOT of it. In the statistics of who drinks the most coffee per capita, Scandinavian countries have the first, second, third, fourth and sixth place.
@@yudithcaron8053 Ah well, guess i lose some major nordic points on that front then. Hate the taste of coffee.
Jaywalking when there's no traffic is an un-nordic trait?
I call bullshit.
Everyone crosses the street if there are no cars around, even if the light is red. That’s not exclusive to any one country.
Then you haven't met Germans yet.
You probably never went to Germany then?
In Sweden nobody waits for the red light if there are no or only a few cars, unless you're a country bumpkin like me when in a bigger city... 😅
höhöhöhöhöhö
how did they both come up with bad clothes????? are u kidding me??
Because it's a saying in Scandinavian countries "There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing"
meaning: get out on a walk or hike, regardless of what the weather is like
@@omega1231 it's not a saying in Iceland, a nordic country. if you said that here people would think you are stupid what with the truly terrible Icelandic weather
@@omega1231 Not only in Scandinavian countries. Here (Germany) we say it too.
Who talks to strangers on the bus ??? No one. This is not a nordic thing.
