He's basically Captain America.
he doesn't have a real job or real life skills
@@GerogeChanNice cope bro. He's doing something he loves, getting money and recognition in the process, as well as inspiring others. Maybe you could find some time for a hobby so you're not so miserable.
@@GerogeChanhow would you lnow what life skills he has?He makes enough to live and enjoy life, thats what jobs are for and most people hate their own.
@@GerogeChan if only people loved having a "real" job and it didn't require one so you can live. I tell you, almost nobody would want a regular job, if they had this opportunity. He was A+ in school btw, he went on olympiads, so if he truly wants to go that road, he can definitely go. I would do exactly what he does and he has the genetics and dedication to back it up. I have a real job and I don't sound miserable like you, maybe get help.
@@GerogeChanu mean he's not slaving away for his boss working a 9/5. Yeah, what a loser
That is the fastest deadlift setup I've ever seen, zero preparation, literally like picking up a coin from the ground
Thats what years of work looks like
@@Filip-sp2vk Not even that, most good deadlifters spend some time to find their position, but he literally just bends down
He did 426 in competition like one month ago and something. He's a beast.
How come 420 kg is his deadlift pr, he lifted 426 in competition?!
I think the 420 was done before the competition where he did 426.
Young guys take note… John maxed out his natural potential before going on gear. He had insane numbers after 10 years of hard training as a natty, then when he felt he hit is peak, he went on cycle and now he’s where he is. Don’t be tempted to go on anything young. Especially if you’re not an elite athlete
925lb pull at 185 lb BW is exponentially more impressive than a 400 lb man pulling 1000 lbs.
I wish all the PL Federations adopted Johns form as a base standard haha. Slight to No arch on bench. No sumo stance DL. And just a good ole squat.
0:12 not only that , he doesn’t sink the bar
Nice video. He showed a lot of strength.
John is the new Ed Coan
Thats was exactly my thought also
True bro
Very strong, no doubt... until Graham hicks shows up.
John is the powerlifting 🐐 thats a real deadlift take note beta sumo soy manlets 🙏
And full ROM at bench 😎
Yeah man this man is the real deal.
If he had better leverages and could pull more sumo, he'd pull sumo. He's already said that he lifts the way he lifts because it's the most benefitial for him, and he can lift the most weight the way he lifts in comp.
Nobody in his right mind would've ever sacrificed 20-30kgs to prove something to youtube commenters
Sumo deadlift is a half rep squat
@@aaa-tm9dcit's not to please youtubers it's to prove to himself and to do things the right way brother 🙏
Only betas pull sumo 🙏
Your beta mother pulls sumo dick.
Amém 🙏
Only betas care
@@StephanJobesyou cared enough to comment beta 🙏
@@martinbradley1062 ok gamer weenie
925 with no straps 😮😮😮😮
Yea...that's just fucking insane. Especially for his BW pulling 925lbs raw with no straps.
No straps and no DL suit. Pretty amazing for a guy around 200 pounds.
Wie lächerlich! 😂 Mach doch die Hantelstange beim Kreuzheben noch länger. 😂
He lifts 473 like I lift 155. Beast
Built to lift
Beast 💪💪💪
I mean i can rep 855 all day on incline so it makes a 925 dead seem less impressive.
Amazing lifts
He’s been deadlifting 400+ for years??
Yeah he's pulling so much cuz I watch him😂
Sumo is okay
Kyllä se Lapualta löytyy se voima.
no
Nii
Jacked affffffff
High bar squats my be best for him anatomically.
Duh
Regardless highbar is tougher than lowbar it's a fact.
@firepillow depends on body. It literally is easier for John. He'd tried switching to lowbar for a while and his squat went down.
@@Isaiah_McIntosh john is a by proudct of what's not broken why fix it. I bet if john started off training with lowbar he might have most likely become much more proficient at it, but like me I started training highbar and did so for years to get me to get to lowbar now just wouldn't work for me and would potentially take me years to get much more proficient with lowbar, thus john wouldn't want to waste his time, especially since you're in your prime for only so long in powerlifting.
@victorsoto4821 or its just not sensible for you. Dude very seriously is trying to be the best ever he's attempted lowbar because yeah for most people it's what's best. Most people take a few blocks to change over, if it's taking you years to adjust between high and lowbar then you're a kinesthetic moron. Basically everyone starts higbar but look at people like nathaniel massiah, when you're trying to be the best you try to make it work and get it. It just doesn't work for John. He's talked about this in multiple q and as over the years on various platforms.
💪✌️👍👍👍
What's his weight/weight class 🤯? Last I heard he's in 93 class!?
He usually competes in the 90, but recently he is struggling to make the weight, I think that he is around 100 in off season
Yeah missed his weight cut last meet for 198/199 had to compete in next higher class was probably 207 at the meet and likely 220-225 off season
Only people with low dots care about sumo vs conventional. If your a competitor you don’t care
I doubt any country-level powerlifter cares about sumo/conv. Leave alone regional/world's athletes.
@@aaa-tm9dc I mean it does count for bragging rights though, since most of the biggest deadlifts in powerlifting were all mostly done in sumo which technically is less ROM, when people know you pulled conventional just makes you look that much more bad ass, it is what it is, not taking anything away from the big time powerlifters who pull sumo, since I couldn't touch those numbers regardless.
