This is basically the same as name a star or own some land on the moon, it is as close to a scam as you basically can get. Geno Smith being the top quarterback of 2013 is a strange sight, especially looking at his crazy resurgence almost a decade later. People here in West Virginia absolutely love seeing players go from WVU to the NFL, but it's rare that many of them stand out and people really though Geno would be the one. I can say though, even this far in the future there are still plenty of people happy about it.

Wentz is one of the most overly hated players in recent history. People love to stroke Nick Foles and act as if he was the sole reason that team went far, ignoring that Wentz 100% set up the success. Foles’s post-2017 career has been far less noteworthy than Wentz’s too. Wentz has always been accurate as hell, especially considering the awful rosters he’s usually a part of.

I am an Eagles fan, and Wentz never played well after the Super Bowl and had way too many injuries. So much so that a team that made the playoffs 3 years in a row and 2 by sheer luck (2018 and 2019), Wentz only played 10 snaps in the playoffs. 10! That is pathetic, and that remains the same even now since he blew it against the Jaguars last year. The Colts would make the playoffs if he won that game and didn't play like ass.

With the benefit of hindsight, I think that the Rams may want a mulligan. While yeah, the asset management for Goff did get them Matthew Stafford and a Super Bowl ring, but can you picture a Rams offense led by Dak Prescott AND Derrick Henry (yes, the 2nd round pick the Rams gave up for Goff was used to select this man)?
On another side note, assuming the Rams have not yet given away their 2024 first round pick, 2016 was the last time the Rams drafted in the first round. Between 2017 and 2024, all their first round picks have been traded away to acquire the likes of Brandin Cooks, Jalen Ramsey, and the above mentioned Matthew Stafford.

THis video at around 10:30 brought back terrible memories. I just heard multiple Browns qbs listed in a row.......... Hogan, Kessler and more.... It was either 1-15 season or 0-16, Hogan kept being brought in and kept playing well to bring the team back into the game just to lose. He was given a start, and played so badly that the stench of the defeat reached Russia, and caused international incident after they accused US of using chemical weapons on them.
Kessler, I had such high expectations for him. I will admit it that the reason for it was that Browns were so bad, and as Browns fans we just wanted to put hope into something.
Dont get me started on Jacoby Brissett, one moment he looks like a superstar and next moment I get flashbacks of Brandon Weeden (28 year old 1st round draft pick qb by the Browns, way to old to be 1st rounder, and I am saying that as a 28 year old). I wanted to get Jimmy G instead of Watson, they had the tools, all they need is a qb that wont blow the game. I also wanted them to keep Case Keenum to be the bridge for Watson, the guy has led Vikings to championship game and knows how to win. After they traded Keenum away, I was hoping they would get Bridgewater or Mariota, Bridgewater already has the name for it, and Mariota while might not win the game he probably wont lose it either. I watched Jacoby Brissett play, the guy has talent, it just that he has brain dead moments that cost the game, it even feels like he lacks certain instincts I have seen in high school qbs. Like the one fumble he had few weeks ago, he could have prevented it but he literally almost gave the ball to the hands of defender, or the forced throws he made that cost them multiple games in 4th quarter, they could have easily been 6 and 1 or 5 and 2 if he just made better choices in 4th quarter.
I dont mean to be harsh on Jacoby Brissett, he is trying his best. It just feels so frustrating to finally claw out of the basement just to be dragged back into it. I guess it is the price Browns fans have to pay because the team owner decided to give a person with many allegations against him a huge contract that is guaranteed. He might be innocent, or he might not, I just do not feel like I would give so much guaranteed money to a person that refused to play for his old team Also lets be honest, the case actually makes him not look innocent, i had the same masseuses for 5 years, and I swear by her. Once you find one that works, you dont change them, I am ride till the end with my masseuses till the very end.
Wow this is years frustration as a Browns all just let out and written down. I may have deleted about 80% of the comment before posting it.... I just got a business idea, its called Browns Therapy. Options are sound proof room that you can rant and yell to yourself or ranting to me. I bet i can make mint during football season, or any time Browns owner is on the news.
