4:51 Nick Wight, Skip Bayless, Mel Kiper, and Rob Parker are my least favourite sports "analysts" of the last ten or more years. With the amount of wrong and baffling predictions that they spew, it's astonishing to me how they've managed to stay in the business this long.
Nick Wright can be entertaining at times (His rants on Aaron Rodgers are gold) as long as he's not talking about his Chiefs. The other three though, big OOF. Especially Rob Parker, who's so bad that he's now writing for fuckin Deadspin.
They're all in the business of arrogant (I mean that as nicely as possible) bold predictions that generate views. As long as they continue to piss people off with so much ridiculous predictions mixed in with the occasional sensible analysis they're not going anywhere
Neither did I. I'm a Chicago Bears fan. Whenever a QB is drafted high and thrown into the fire right away as Caleb Williams was, you never know what to expect. To have that much of an unknown quantity comprising the team, anybody putting them above Green Bay, who was expected to be good to very good, was wishful thinking. Tampa was probably going to be mediocre to good this year. Minnesota with a new QB situation also was a fair amount of an unknown quantity, too. However, the Vikings in general have a better supporting cast on offense than do the Bears. Even given that, Minnesota has blown away even the most optimistic predictions.
I knew the Bears were going to struggle with their o-line, but not completely collapse like the other years. 😂 Just goes to show that the big guys upfront are underappreciated.
I think the lack of skill on the o-line and the coaches not adjusting for that are the problem. If you pick a QB known to hold the ball and either don't correct that trait or put in an offense designed to cover it and your o-line is weak, failure is the only option.
@MimesAgainstHunmanity when they played the Packers and all of the games they've won, it was the running game that carried them. During the draft, after they picked Caleb Williams, I said that with the 2nd first round pick, they should've drafted Joe Alt, but they picked Rome Odunze and I'm like "What's all these offensive weapons gonna do when they got no protection upfront."
Please cover the Colts season cause this team is super disappointing cause of major drama, cultural issues, and lack of leadership and communication between players, coaches, and front office.
It's legit been going on since Luck retired, it's just sad. From the ownership downwards, the Colts are an unserious franchise, who always shrink in moments that matter. As a fan, it's just been football purgatory.
@@adobejacobeword for word been saying the same we are by far in the worst football purgatory. Records aside ik there are some awful teams but honestly as a fan the colts are on tier with the panthers and clearly the giants of poverty. Ik it going to take time for AR to develop and I’m still a supporter but that accuracy needs to get fixed. Gus shoulda been gone after last year and better be out this year. Ballard either needs to go or actually get veteran free agents who know how to win and can put that energy in the locker room. But you said it best in big moments the colts just fumble it so bad. From the Carson wentz year when they played ass against the raiders and jags then last year all we had to do was win one game and we’re in. Like ever since we made the afc champion ship game with luck the colts have been straight ass. This sh!t is frustrating but I maybe delusional but I feel like we didn’t even have a bad team as far as personnel wise. It doesn’t make sense as to how the colts are just poor at executing especially in big moments and crucial games. And like you said from ownership and downwards no serious moves whatsoever and with this team should have been better and at least win 10 games.
Caleb Williams hasn't been bad for the Bears. Their defense regressed in nearly every aspect, they made terrible front office decisions in keeping Eberflus & hiring Shane Waldron, and didn't upgrade the O-Line. Caleb's short-comings are the result of the poor support Ryan Poles & the coaching staff have given him. He's played very well in 2-minute situations & has actually kept them in a lot of their games until Eberflus got fired & the entire team checked out around him.
This is the 3rd season since Shanahan has taken over that was wiped out by injuries to so many key players on the roster. At some point, the competency of the 49ers training staff and how they handle things has to be called into question.
Giants keeping Jones over Saquan, just to release Jones the season after they let Saquan go is an all-time fk up. You expect nothing out of the Giants and are still disappointed. To top that off, they actually won a completely meaningless game to get them out of the #1 overall pick 😂
NGL, I feel that jameis winston could be a great quarterback, hell even a starter. But he definitely needs work. I'd love to see what he could do next year, but that's unlikely due to the one year contract and the giant $230 million dollar elephant in the room...On the bright side, we're likely to have one of the first 3 first round draft picks for 2025. Hopefully we can get a quarterback and a couple good players for the O-line and D-line. Other than that, this season has been rough. The return of Nick Chubb gave me a big smile, only for him to get injured again..pain. But I feel the team has learned that deshaun can't be the starter now. I expect us to get a new QB, either from the draft, or trading a draft pick for a QB. Really depends if the browns wanna try for a young new player or a experienced one.
@@nathantucker8489 yeah they better draft 7 defensive players in the draft or something. It looks silly how much their defense gives up with Joe Burrow and Jamarr Chase being elite. Maybe draft some offensive line help if not that.
I thought that having a healthy Joe Burrow for an entire season would help them contend in the AFC North, but instead they are going to finish with the same exact record.
I agree with the 49ers, cowboys, jaguars, and a little bit of the browns and bengals but bears and jets are laughable that people thought they would do good
This jags season has been so brutal. The Mac jones 70 yrd interception with 2 minutes left on 1st & 10 in a one score game ripped my heart out and stomped on it.
Jets firing their head coach because of missed field goals has honestly the most heartbreaking part of the season. If they had a new head coach come in and take over the team I get it but what they did is just flush the season down the toilet. I hope Aron Rodgers gets a chance to play next with a team with a head coach and GM that can run a team. Think about you fired a guy and put his close personal friend in his place? No motivation to make your boss a ton of money.
I’m a bears fan and I predicted 4 wins. Looks like I’m right. I never thought we should have drafted Caleb. Being booed is what he deserves because he isn’t that good. Many people can blame the line for the sacks but he holds the ball for the 4th longest time from snap to pass in the NFL. Most of those sacks can be put on him. All the media will turn on Caleb next season when we only win 3 games and it will prove that all the “hype” was wrong.
Caleb is gonna be fine. I’m a packers fan too so I don’t want him to be. You draft him knowing he holds the ball and tries to make the big play. He’s gonna learn from this year and the line will improve. I feel like people hate on him more than normal.
This season’s New York Jets team might be the most talented bad team I’ve seen in my more than 2 decades of watching NFL football. Bad coaching and a bad GM really tore this talent-laden team apart. Rodgers refusing to sit out for a bit after getting hurt Week 4 against the Broncos certainly didn’t make things better for New York either.
I wouldn't put it like that. A super hot girlfriend who has a mountain of other issues. People see she's great looking yet don't see the horrible financial decisions, the ADHD, strings of horrible decisions, or inability to accomplish anything beyond looking great.
As a fellow Cowboys fan, I can 100% attest to this. I had very little hopes going into the season after not only signing just Eric Kendricks and Zeke, but passing up on King Henry and Saquon
Having the Giants disqualified but the Browns included shows both the homerism & the Daniel Jones effect. Tell me, which team more recently won a playoff game? (NYG) Which division was predicted to be stronger? (the AFC north) Which starting QB is worse? (really think about it!) Both teams lost their best offensive weapon (Barkley left NY & Chubb was basically nonexistent since coming back from injury) but the Giants drafted Malik Nabors, so?
Anyone with a good pair of eyes know Caleb has the talent and he’s not the problem. He has indeed made some Mahomes-esque plays this season. The bears are almost completely devoid of talent both sides of their trenches. In an unrelated note: nothing sweeter than to see Rodger’s career ending with a whimper.
It's similar to the Bryce Young/CJ Stroud talking points of last year. Even if the Bears had drafted Daniels, I don't think he would do much better in this situation
The offensive coordinator signing damaged this team as much as anything in my opinion. Kliff went to an organization where Dan Quinn advocated him to come in and mentally challenge one another during the rebuild. The new head coach wanted him to be the contrasting figure in meetings to avoid a yes man and force one another to grow. The Bears got Waldron, a guy who would have meetings with separate position groups and not tell each group how their roles worked together afterwards and perhaps more importantly was pathetically insecure enough to write players out of game plans if they brought up issues in the offense. How could anyone expect a young QB to succeed with a OC that was willing to sabotage the team week-week based on his feelings getting hurt or not?
As a colts fan from Indianapolis … it’s been very disappointing the last few year (even when our o-line couldn’t stop a cold). It’s been nothing but a constant carousel of quarterbacks on their last leg and .500 seasons or below. I’m honestly sad we didn’t get put on the list 🥲
The sad part about the Bears is that one play basically tanked their entire season. If Washington didn't have that hail mary, Chicago probably wouldn't have spiraled.
Somehow, my Atlanta Falcons have been who we thought they were. The Kirk Cousins collapse was unexpected, but hopefully next year we come in as 9-10.5 win favorites. #RiseUp
as a niners fan I remember people saying that the week 1 MNF game was a potential super bowl preview. how fun was that. at least we'll have an easier schedule next season, so hopefully we're better.
I highly doubt CMC is gone, Trent might be, Deebo potentially, who knows when Aiyuk returns from that injury. they'll have to hit on some draft picks this offseason, not really interested in another QB, so hopefully we can at least make the postseason next year.
@I think Purdy is getting under appreciated and I definitely think he’s not a “system QB” but the extension is the biggest concern I have for this team. there will defo be veterans who are gone this offseason,
Unfortunate injuries for us. Had Tua, Chubb, and Philips been healthy all year... we'd qualify for sure. No way we lose to Indy or Tennessee with Tua playing.
To be fair to Trevor the injury on his non throwing shoulder that he's now getting surgery on has messed up his passing motion ever since it happened. Next season when he's fully healed will show everyone what he really is
I'm an Eagles fan. The Cowboys lost their center, left tackle, starting RB, starting ILB, their starting corner, and numerous depth players along the defensive line. Why people overlooked all that this year is beyond me.
As a falcons fan, the falcons should definitely be on here. I know they are sitting at 8-8 but this is a team that gave $180 million to a qb coming off an Achilles tear. Not only that but they traded for Matthew Judon and signed Justin Simmons. All of that to be 8-8
Everyone knew Simmons and Judon were okay but not elite and also Kirk was coming off an ACL injury, so I think the fans wanted to think that the team would be running away with the NFC south but probably in the back of their minds they knew that the team would somehow mess up and also I think week one should us how this season would play out and also Raheem Morris as head coach was a huge factor why they are 8-8
8:50 Good analysis on the Cowboys. One thing you possibly overlooked (which goes along with Dak's injury and the pitiful running game) is their Offensive Line. OT Tyler Smith is likely on his way out (a year after his plantar fascia tear) while both of their younger guys that play the position either questionable or on IR. Cooper Beebe and Brock Hoffman are both young and inexperienced and Zack Martin was placed on IR. With an O-line in development with younger players and lack of consistency Dak (and Zeke) have enjoyed largely gone, it's really hard to imagine the teaming doing better than it is. Because to be brutally honest, this current O-line is validation as to why they didn't pay Zeke and chose to let him go after the 2022 season. Pollard enjoyed his first two 1k seasons under the previous O-line. It's likely going to take another 1-2 years of this current line playing together (assuming Dak comes back and hasn't regressed in health and performance) before they achieve a winning record.
im disappointed too as a Packers fan. Rodgers deserved a lot better earlier in his career it would have been nice to see him Brady his way to a superbowl with the Jets.
I'd absolutely have the Saints on here. With the offensive weapons they have, they should have easily been a 500 team. And injuries destroyed them. No other team had the top 5 offensive players all out multiple games on IR. Devastating
lol someone thinks the NFL isn't rigged 2:10 Not a cheap shot. Runners CAN and DO take those kinds of hits. If the NFL doesn't want QBs to run, ban it. The idea of QBs getting to slide as a get of jail free card is ridiculous to me. 3:40 No mention of Deshaun Watson's 24+ settled lawsuits over his behavior with women? The owner is clearly not very smart, and the player himself should've been banned a year ago. 5:00 "Media darlings"? Someone spends WAYYY too much time watching sports media. You can't tell if a team is good until like game 7, and ANYONE talking about how good "players" are as statballs is not smart. 6:58 It's "ah-kill-leez", not "ah-keel-leeeeez". 10:26 Lol, the commanders have two inconsistent QBs, and the Eagles should've fired their head coach last year, their starting QB is permainjured, and they have one good wide receiver. It's a Chiefs threepeat and the NFL wants everyone to know in advance. 12:00 Joe Burrow is NOT a good QB, he's middling. He can always quit playing in the NFL if he wants. 14:00 Well yeah, defensive tackles are getting stronger, not weaker. QBs are getting weaker, not stronger. The NFL wants more sacks because those play well on TV, it's sports entertainment after all. COVID didn't help anyone either. Being on your 5th round QB just means the coaches don't know how to pick+train strong QBs at the same time.

@@x-90but when u say something like that, and while not a great team you’re not in the worst situation, then back it up.
@@x-90 Caleb Williams has been terrible, what are you talking about 😂😂
Caleb's numbers are garbage time who cares @@x-90
Anyone that has watched the bears play this season can see that the o line and coaching is the problem the bears have this season they fix the coaching situation and draft/trade for some good line men the team could have a quick turnaround
I'm convinced Mel Kiper has dirt on someone to stick around as long as he has.
Wow.. such a hot take.. lol
Being a bears and jets fan is perpetually agony
they're the same team except in different conferences.
The bears as a team have won 4 games this season.... since leaving and largely playing as a backup, Justin Fields also has 4 wins
Youve still got the best outros in the game. Pumps me up everytime
I still don’t get what everybody saw in the Chicago Bears to have them as playoff locks over teams like Green Bay, Minnesota and even Tampa
Minnesota is the outlier in that, I think everyone expected them to earn a top 10 draft pick next year, especially after McCarthy got injured.
@@ftwsam2246 exactly
Joe Alt went fifth though, before 9
@@ashwinranji8790 should've traded Rome immediately for Alt.
I genuinely love the graphic we got of how Williams said the punter wouldn’t be doing much work, but then it turned out not so much.
Nobody really expected them to be good, they had zero hype coming into the season. They're a dumpster fire for sure though
I take it you agreed with Macafee’s rant? 😂😂
So you're telling me Shane Steichen might be available for an OC position? Where do teams sign up?
Aaron Rodgers is immunized from taking responsibility
Anyone who thought the Jets would win 10+ is a goofball. 😊
Not to mention if Moody had hit on just a few of his missed FG's they would have won 4 or 5 more games.
Love your video KTO and keep up the great work you are awesome
I love how you found a way to end a video about disappointing teams on a high note with the upbeat outro music.
The game ball and madden story is hilarious
Giants keeping Jones over Saquan, just to release Jones the season after they let Saquan go is an all-time fk up. You expect nothing out of the Giants and are still disappointed. To top that off, they actually won a completely meaningless game to get them out of the #1 overall pick 😂
0:58 C'mon KTO, gotta get that apostrophe in "don't"
Are you the grammar police ? 🚓🚨
Bruh who gives a shit? Lmao
Gay
no apostrophe? straight to jail
The Jets thinking Aaron and Adams where gonna solve the Franchises problems was the most Jets thing ever.
thank you kto for blessing us with another video ❤
I used to think the same about him, but he is who he is. Good at times but the streakiest qb in football
I wouldn't say disappointed to the Bengals yet because there's still a chance for the Bengals to make the playoffs, but they need help
I expected them to be 12 - 5 again or 11 - 6 or at least 10 - 7. Not 9 - 8 or 8 - 9.
@michael7054 let's hope they do better next year
@@nathantucker8489 yeah they better draft 7 defensive players in the draft or something.
I agree with the 49ers, cowboys, jaguars, and a little bit of the browns and bengals but bears and jets are laughable that people thought they would do good
No Colts? They were expected to be a wild card team but then became a lolcow this season
5:36 The Bears in a nutshell 😂
Agreed 100%. I had them at 4 or 5 wins, and I thought dumping Fields and drafting Caleb Williams was a TERRIBLE decision.
You should have drafted Jayden Daniels.
Even if Caleb Williams isn't that good, there are a lot of issues to fix first.
When your QB can't feel safe in the pocket, they play MUCH worse
Caleb is gonna be fine. I’m a packers fan too so I don’t want him to be. You draft him knowing he holds the ball and tries to make the big play. He’s gonna learn from this year and the line will improve. I feel like people hate on him more than normal.
Getting rid of Fields for a negligible upgrade at best is horrible GM work
King of Outros strikes again
If the titans kept vrabel and got an above average QB like baker they’d be contenders imo
00:20 reporter funny and he knows it lmao
Rodgers being a clown as always
This season’s New York Jets team might be the most talented bad team I’ve seen in my more than 2 decades of watching NFL football. Bad coaching and a bad GM really tore this talent-laden team apart. Rodgers refusing to sit out for a bit after getting hurt Week 4 against the Broncos certainly didn’t make things better for New York either.
Being a Bears fan really takes a toll on your mental health. Doesn't help with the shit we get from Packers fans every year.
Madden Curse skipped Mahomes and piled everything on the niners, it’s not fair :(
Being a Cowboys fan is like having a super hot girlfriend who’s terrible in bed
Yep. Just can’t get up in there like you want to… the Super Bowl that is
I wouldn't put it like that.
Giants aren’t just a disappointment, THEIR AN EMBARRASSMENT! Never forget, the organization let Saquon walk so he could RUN in Philly.
Yes massa
Ise getting paid to chase balls for rich people but it is ok just not everyone cam join the fancy plantation
Always great content.
At least with the Browns we got the Jameis Winston show with plenty of fun interview segments, despite the poor play of the team overall
Bengals isn’t necessarily disappointing, more or less, then were below average. Oddly, they aren’t eliminated just yet
Rodgers’ reaction to that statement was hilarious.
As a Titans fan glad we ain't in the video but I think we were a disappointment
Gotta have expectations first. TitanUp
@jessethompson1510 we kinda did though
As a buckeye fan I am a huge fan of yours, but you showing the Vikings hella love, yeah.. I’m an even bigger fan.
In defense most of cowboys media tried telling the world this team stunk
Nice vid bro
Can you do more college vids
Trevor and Kyler have not shown anything more than being Mid AF. I don't know why people expect them to change.
I’ll be watching this video again when the Bengals are in the AFC championship! Be careful what you wish for 😊
Calling Deshaun Watson's injury "devastating" way be a bit of a stretch.
I remember seeing Rodgers on hard knocks and thinking "he is acting cocky for an old dude on a new team right?"
The few appearences by John Middlekauff is a nice touch.
The sad part about the Bears is that one play basically tanked their entire season. If Washington didn't have that hail mary, Chicago probably wouldn't have spiraled.
How does that Nick Wright character get any airtime?
guy is unbearable
Somehow, my Atlanta Falcons have been who we thought they were. The Kirk Cousins collapse was unexpected, but hopefully next year we come in as 9-10.5 win favorites. #RiseUp
Kirk cousins agent is the greatest agent in sports lol
as a niners fan I remember people saying that the week 1 MNF game was a potential super bowl preview. how fun was that.
at least we'll have an easier schedule next season, so hopefully we're better.
I hope so, but I’m not too optimistic. Trent and CMC are both gonna retire, I’m sure.
I highly doubt CMC is gone, Trent might be, Deebo potentially, who knows when Aiyuk returns from that injury.
they'll have to hit on some draft picks this offseason, not really interested in another QB, so hopefully we can at least make the postseason next year.
yall are actually cooked, have fun trying pay all your players man
@I think Purdy is getting under appreciated and I definitely think he’s not a “system QB” but the extension is the biggest concern I have for this team. there will defo be veterans who are gone this offseason,
The miami dolphins could fit into this video too 🤔
Unfortunate injuries for us. Had Tua, Chubb, and Philips been healthy all year... we'd qualify for sure. No way we lose to Indy or Tennessee with Tua playing.
watching this video and during the cowboys part i get the notification that zeke got cut just hits different 😂😂
With how many times you mentioned it, you really love the Sam Darnold revival story.
I knew damn well going into this season Bears weren't doing shit 😭
can't believe some thought they were better than the Packers 😭
The Bengals are going through what the Saints did in 2013-2016. High powered offense and elite qb carrying the rest of the team.
I honestly knew the Jaguars was going to struggle by the way they ended last season. I didn't have high expectations for them this year.
As a Vikings fan I never thought my Vikings would be 14-2, but hey, I will take it over 7-10 any day(I rather forget about the 2023-24 season tho)
im disappointed too as a Packers fan. Rodgers deserved a lot better earlier in his career it would have been nice to see him Brady his way to a superbowl with the Jets.
Time for the meet expectations video.
As a long time bengals fan, I know a bad one coach when we got one, I loved Lewis and I liked Zac but we gotta make a change now.
A's told by my mom for the cowboys our record isnt surprising. We tend to have a consistency to fall off whenever we look good sadly.
I'd absolutely have the Saints on here. With the offensive weapons they have, they should have easily been a 500 team. And injuries destroyed them. No other team had the top 5 offensive players all out multiple games on IR. Devastating
4:51 as a Detroit Lions fan, this ages like fine gourmet cheese 🧀!
The Bears punter was excellent
Not sure why anybody thought the old man was going to go 10 and 7. This is exactly where I thought the Jets would be
lol someone thinks the NFL isn't rigged
2:10 Not a cheap shot.
