Ronin is not only a lawyer, but a genius. He finished College at a very young age with high marks. His focus on protecting victims of sexual abuse came about in defense of his sister, who he himself did not really believe/ understand at first. His advocacy now for these victims will forever be appreciated.

As you note, those with ample $$ and resources can delay, manipulate or avoid justice too easily. DJT is the epic example of such abuse....the country has never seen anything like it, and if we're lucky, we'll never see such abuse of the system again.

That was the appeal, there'll be a brand-new trial, right from the beginning to the end.
That's not how appeals work. Weinstein may testify during the retrial that the NYDA is currently working on.

I have to reassess my opinion of Ronan Farrow. I thought him another nepo-kid but after listening to this interview he is in his own right, intelligent, articulate and emotionally level headed. I was wrong.
He got his intellect from his dad, Woody Allen, but chose journalism rather than mostly producing silly films.

It's ludicrous to throw out a conviction for testimony ESTABLISHING A PATTERN OF BEHAVIOR. This trial testimony was specifically allowed under state law, and the issue was adjudged properly in he trial.
I love Ronan Farrow. He is clear, concise and on point. So many of these people on the news now commenting on the Trump trial, cannot complete a sentence or keep facts clear or make these insides jokes that no one understands but them. The justice system is for sale
To be clear, Michael Cohen was only responding to trump's attacks on him; doesn't make it right, but the back and forth between them in not helpful. Also, the reason Michael has a Go Fund Me is because of his legal bills which are sky high. He did prison time for trump's crimes. He was subpoenaed in this case; it was not his choice to be a witness. Also, he has made amends and seeks to regain his quality of life. Ronan is an excellent journalist. He also looks a lot like Frank Sinatra (no surprise).
The GOP has dug itself into such a deep hole over the last 7-8 years and they just keep digging. My former party is unsavable at this point, and it will take at least a generation to overcome. Quite possibly two generations.
