Completely agree with you re. the "British" government, whatt's happening to farming and our land. Global criminal syndicate who have no love for land or people. These old songs, beautifully sung by your clear, lovely, honest and true voice an being, are so necessary in these times. Thankyou. I so enjoy listening and feeling the resonance deepin my being. Greetings from rural Norfolk..x
I absolutely love the UK . Been there twice and I feel more at home there than anywhere I have ever been . My dna test says I am 50 percent British. I want to visit again and walk from town to town staying at hostels. I love your classic baby carriage
Long life and success to the farmer! Greetings from rural (northern) Germany. This is the region with the highest percentage of farmers in Germany. Farmers are under a lot of pressure here, I think most regular people are on their side - politicians act as if it had never occurred to them that these people actually grow our food. (But here's something funny: Subtitles say "I grow my own fleas"😂)
Thank you for your music and lovely singing but its not worth the trawling through the unhinged and nasty comments by people who think the world is ended because we dont have a right wing government in power. All the best.
No idea what you're talking about. This is lovely old folk song and my baby son's favourite. I sing it for him and also I posted it in praise of the farmers and for the love of nature, the land and the countryside.
I love your singing but I completely disagree with you about farming and our country being trashed.and I'm surprised after what we've been subjected to for fourteen years you can think that.
@wulfshead What the hell am I talking about??? What an ignorant comment. Google "14 years of Tory austerity, corruption and lies " and that will give you an idea..
@@andrewlangridge8619 well I see absolutely no “unhinged”and “nasty” comments here. As for the song - have you not seen what’s happening with the inheritance tax and the farmers lately? Farmers are committing suicide now so they can pass their farms on to their children before the law changes. And who knows what you mean by “what we’ve been subjected to for 14 years…. “It is fine to disagree without resorting to name calling . I’ve no time nor interest in labels such as “right/left wing”. Etc etc yawn 🥱 #manmadebullshit
she is my go to for music
The Sound of The Land!
I'm sorry for the situation in your home country. Here in Italy it's far from fun and games too! The song is delightful as usual

Canadian tiny apt dweller here in support of local farmers and singers.
What a voice! Would you cover the Gloucestershire Wassail this Christmas, please?
An enjoyable 1:35 minutes, thank you Julie 🎵
Fear the farmer. He’ll come for your home if you threaten his land.
Very nice 👍
Beautiful as always.
Lovely
Wonderful!
Spot on. Xx🐝🐝

lovely ballad; thought for a moment it was " Molly Malone", same/similar tune I think, or is just my ears ?
Oh not sure actually. Possibly

You clearly haven’t been in the loop then. I’m American and even I know about what they’re trying to do there
What the hell are you talking about?! Wake up!
