- The 2012 Audi A6 may very well be the best mid-size luxury sedan available today. The sumptuous interior is bar far the best appointed in its segment, and the added feature of wi-fi connectivity just puts it one more lap ahead of the competition. Add the supercharged V6 engine that still gives you an EPA fuel rating of 19 city and 28 highway, and it's easy to see why the Audi A6 is at the top of its class.

Nobody builds better looking cars these days like Audi does! Beautifully crafted machines with added mind blowing performance.
The front is disgusting and the mercedes bmw 5 series gives you the kingof the road status.
German Beales I just picked the A6 over a 550i xdrive. When I looked it up the 550 has horrid reliability issues :P The A6 actually feels like it handles better/less body roll and it felt faster even though I know the Beamer is faster 0-60.
I'm posting just because I see you're a BMW fanboy :) The A6 is way sexier up front as well with those LED headlights... I've asked about 50 people. It also felt better and more fun to drive. The interior was a bit outdated too but not bad. Feels a bit cheaper than the Audi inside tbh. I will say it had the best seats I've ever sat in in a car.
I'm brand agnostic; I know better than to be loyal to companies that have done nothing for me personally and never will. It's the same as having a favourite sports team... unless you have a relative or something similar playing in it they don't care about your happiness in any way, shape or form.

With bmws so many things come as standard which are extras for audis. Audis so EXPENSIVE unbelievable bmw good price heat car excellent eficieny
German Beales I think you're idealizing a car brand and put it on a pedestal. You're also guilty of generalizing. BMW make plenty of terrible cars.
The Audi looks amazing with those LED headlights. I literally conducted an experiment with about 50 people giving their opinion on looks between the 550I and the A6 and the A6 won hands down.
The A6 was also more efficient actually. Funny you mentioned that. The interior felt more luxurious. It also had a history of being more reliable overall. I don't like the look of the back of the A7 btw. I would take an S5 instead :) That is a super sexy car.
The BMW had some nice things going for it too and had really nice presence on the road.
Don't put car brands on a pedestal.. It's not healthy. I've had a ton of cars already and lately really pricey ones. Don't stick to just one brand. It's a really big mistake.
German Beales I don't think it's more expensive for the same options. They have really comparable options.. Same with Mercedes. These 3 compete so fiercely that they should be about the same price for the same options on equivalent cars.
The Audi A6 does feel more luxurious than the 5 series though.
That being said I do like BMW, I might get an M5 or M6 for the summer instead of my STI. I really want a Stingray but they're hard to get right now.
Great review. I love Audi, and when I found out they use Google technology in their cars, started loving them even more.

I don't like Audis, but I do like this car. It holds it's size really well compared to the E class and 5 series which just look huge. (Well, the E class has been big since the w124, but the 5 series is just too big. We need the E39 back!)

@pelepihuamo enthusiasts who favor quattro do so because its impossible to oversteer the car, it always feels glued to the road no matter what youre doing on any surface

Nice review. Straight to the point on the important features and she seems like a realistic reviewer. Can't stand some of the frumpy used-car salesmen hosts that do many reviews like this. Agree on wanting a manual, the last A6 sedan with a stick was in 2004 (still have one myself), I don't think $60K car buyers want a clutch though...

Your reviews are just getting better and better, although I zoned out during your description of all the google features. Are we reviewing a car or some apps? Minor, possibly idiosyncratic, quibble. You're right on about transmissions; Audi needs to bring over that DSG from the TT RS. Killer price, though. I'll take the Hyundai Genesis R-Spec for 13 large less. Even sans google-fu.

wow. I recently fell in love with the 2012 328i and its interior. How similar does it look to this cars interior! Hmm, not so original on bmw's part but its still a beautiful interior
@Lightfromsirius lol.. yeah.. We are comparing cars from differetn country's and fee's plus the standard tech is different form Euro Accords/TSX's and RL's (Legends) . Taxes, destination, shipping, due at signing, warranty exct are all different.

my 2001 e39 changer never had any problems, like tape (which I have and have never used!) and 8 track before it, CDs will be obsolete within a couple years with an ipod connector standard on all cars and hard drive based system on many.
@2harsh615 She is right about the comparing it with the merc benz E350 (3.5 motor with almost similar power) and the BMW 535 Xdrivei with almost similar power. Now the Merc. benz E550, the bmw 550i, the Infinit M56 and the Audi A6 4.2 Vs are in a different league.
The full LED headlights are so cool looking even when there off, your test car is pretty nice but I don't like the greeny grey colour. By the way Emme your dress is quite classy and matches the A6 well :)
btw is there any test drive and review for BMW 328i sedan 2012 ?

audi do have cooled cup holders :) i have it in my q5!! bit weird they dont make it available on any other model ranges!!
@Lightfromsirius in the US a front drive2.0T Premium 32,500. You then have to add in the Convenience package, Style package, Audi MMI® Navigation plus package, Sport package, and finally the S line plus package which in total is another 6K +plus the addition of heated seats and wood grain which boost it up to another 800$. All together with destination fees, you have a loaded 2012 Audi A4 FWD at 56K. Thats not even the premium model. You get all that standard on a TL and even a TSX for 38K.
@AlternativeUses I have driven Audi Quattro's before, and I couldn't drift the car, and could not even do burnouts in a straight line. I know they are very stable on any surface, and have great traction on ice, but for my kind of fun the way to go is REAR WHEEL DRIVE.
I wonder why she failed to mention the other engine options entirely (unless I missed it ) but they have that 2.0T with.. like 211 hp but great on gas... which you'll see on the used lot alot
