The biggest part of the Ruin of the ruins seemed to have come after the fire. That house looked salvageable after the fire--with its best features still in tact. Fire Insurance?
I subscribed to your channel, and I see that you are quite new in Portugal, I am "Spanish" Latin America. I don't speak Portuguese but I am a big fan of abandoned places in the area, hopefully, you do some of those explorations of abandoned little towns, if there are any in Portugal, I love the Spanish exploring shows, but I am afraid no one is doing those shows in Portuga, I haven't checked it out, because if they are in Portuguese it will do no good to me, but I do speak English pretty well, and there is where your channel will come to play. No one is doing videos of Abandoned Spain in English, they are fascinating, and this may be something you may want to consider.

As with several fires we saw last year, I wonder how many were actually arson, how many started by human error or "natural" causes ?
Very sad and such a shame it would have been terrifying …..

A sad ending to a great home. Great videos portugeeza ... keep 'em coming if you can. Is there a ball park figure in Portugal for complete roof replace? A price per square metre would help if poss?

Out of curiosity is it for sale? Just wondering what they plan on doing with such a grand home.
As far as I know, not for sale... so many of these are just left to rot!

Pingo doce , Continente & the germans Lidl & Aldi .

I would say the the region around Oliveira do Hospital is the best value in the whole country! Plenty of bargains!
