This looks very authentic! A catalog of joint manipulation techniques. Other channels and instructionals have an obviously Japan/ Okinawan flow and although I can see Aikijitsu and Aikido derived from Chin na anyone who's really studied Chinese martial arts can usually the difference.
Comments to Chin-na1-12, Dear Master, Wang, what I appreciate is your walking along the hand from wrist, through elbow to shoulder joint locks. What I miss are the presentation sectored ito levels for beginners , intermediate amnd advanced. Paul,68, retired instructor of Karate.
Really nice, video, but I noticed that you have not explained the key factor, ....by controlling opponents foot by stepping on it.. you make the technique more effective as he cannot escape easily. :)
My aim was never to put down anyone or any art. Kungfu has always been my favourite art and that too ChinNa.i did study directly from Grandmaster Zu Wei Jia former head of jingwu institute shanghai. Honestly no one can learn an art just by watching a youtube video .one has to learn the art directly from a teacher as there are many nuances. If teacher was accessible, i would definitely have signed up as a student
Kungfu training is currently is divided into different categories Sanshou/ sanda = kickboxing ChinNa=: seize and lock immobilise Shua Jiao = Throws Forms = Movements or katas or patterns
Most excellent first rate instruction. Simple to learn, easy to practice. Practical in application. A great production. Newly subbed. Laoshr #60 Ching Yi Kung Fu Association
He keeps saying "He cannot escape." This isn't exactly true. Most of these moves have counters, even when in a control position. Obviously a skilled practitioner can continue to maintain control, but it isn't by maintaining a single hold, but by continuing to out maneuver your opponent...or cause damage.
I would say: ¹Technique ²Speed ³Strength Speed can always come later. Most important is to get the technique right, even if you have to repete a thousand times in a slow manner, it's better than making a thousand fast techniques that are not done right.
Looking at these holds and seeing the guys facing each other a lot makes me wonder if the guy being overpowered is still able to give a punch or a kick before he is rendered helpless. Seems to me i'll be trying to get the hands in the right position and i might take a bit too long, and get a kick in my groin, and then the tables would probably quickly turn.
Never done any wrestling apparently as hand/wrist control is exceptionally important in any wrestling Standing or on the ground Go back to your tecate and lucha libre
Have you eever heard about real chineese kung fu master in ufs, bellator, asa, freestyle, boxing or classic wressling?... Hmm.... So am i... No fucking even persone. But they can make nice, realy nice movies about their legends.... 😄 😄 😄
I think it's very practical, however, I don't know if it'll work on a real street fight, or fighting a individual who knows how to really fight. Let's be clear for a minute, attackers won't go for your wrists when attacking you. So I could see why you said that statement, but every little technique you learn could be used for your advantage... Thank You for Sharing the lesson Shi-Fu🙏.
@@rqteqobzrvr3592 using these techniques as prescribed is dangerous. The reason fore those drills is not combat. It is to learn body mechanics, leverage and positioning. Flow drills are not combat they are training intended for study. Yes, any of these techniques work in a highly controlled environment but they do not work in the real world and they are not intended to.
@@pyronicdesign good point there @Erin... but none the less, it's still a great technique to have in your arsenal😊. Some technique kinda reminds me of Chi-Sao of Wing Tsun.
@@rqteqobzrvr3592 qisao is from Kung Fu in general not just wing chun. Touch hands is what it is called in America and that is exactly where this is from. Specifically it is from qin na which is where all qisao comes from. The problem 8 have with these techniques is that they are taught as defense techniques then they are not. You will get killed if you try to do these in a fight but the individual elements of the techniques are sound. You could never do all of these movements in a fight bit you could use the body mechanics along with positioning on their own. Teaching these as actual techniques that people should use is wrong. It goes against everything that kung Fu was intended for.
@@pyronicdesign oh cool... I didn't know that qi sao is part of qi na... hmm. I've learned something new, thanks for sharing the info.. You also said that it shouldn't be taught because it goes against kung fu was intended for? Can you help me understand this statement, because I thought Kung fu was to help individuals defend themselves against people whom are trying to harm you?

Good idea sir thank you for teaching live course this is additional knowledged of martial arts defened
Such valuable teaching! Thank you Master Wong. 🙏
Hot damn, I love martial arts! I wish I could live a 1,000 years and know all the arts
Better than learning ''all the martial arts'' is to learn the secrets of one deeply. Then the rest reveal themselves to you.
Peace.

Nicely demonstrated....sir.....the basics have been tapped.
Very practical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been on the receiving end of that, it's scary feeling the jolt through your elbow.

Great excercises for kids, unfortunately this doesn’t work in a real fight.
U have no idea what works in a real fight.
Nice assumption.

Sorry but that weak grab is not the way an actual grab would go most time if I grab something there's a lot of tension applied.
Good stuff but, Again, these guys always use guys their size or smaller. Let's see Large Opponents.
