I also have enjoyed so many of these! The Heart's Charge, Positively, Penelope, In Too Deep, Called to Protect, and Hidden Peril. A couple of sequels I have enjoyed are The Secret to Happiness - the 2nd book in the Cape Cod Creamery series by Suzanne Woods Fisher, Hopefully Ever After - the third book in the Amish Bookstore series and Wyatt - the 4th book in the Montana Marshalls series by Susan May Warren.
We love the same series! I love series that follow a family! I also loved The Christiansen Family (Susan May Warren), the Porter Family (Becky Wade), The St. John Family (Blue Justice-Lynette Eason), the McKenna family (Alaskan Courage-Dani Pettrey)!! A couple of others I have loved is the McKinley (Chapel Springs)/Callahan (Summer Harbor) family series-Denise Hunter (two Hallmark movies were made from these books) and the Baxter Family series by Karen Kingsbury (33 in series-and Books 1-3 were made into three short seasons on Amazon).
The only one of these I have read is The Gilded Lady. I liked that one better than the first, which I also liked. I still need to read the last one in the series.
Hello! I'm currently reading If I Live, all 3 books are so fast paced. This is a new "genre" to me and haven't read a page turner in quite a while. Is Lynn H Blackburn faster paced than the If I Run series?? Just curious on your thoughts... Have a good 📚📚 weekend ❣️
I've been on the fence about reading It Had to Be You. I liked the first book in the series, but I didn't love it because I enjoyed the secondary characters' romance more than the romance between Darek and Ivy, and I wish some of the subplots had been developed more. Seeing It Had to Be You on this list makes me think I should try it even though I was only lukewarm about the first one.
I wasn't a big fan of Darek & Ivy either but I loved this series!! Book 4 was my favorite! The author even released a reunion book a few years ago called Have Yourself A Christiansen Christmas.
I love your recommendations📝📖
Ironically, I am currently reading “The Spice King” so fulfilling your prompt for October will be easy.

I haven't read the Denise Hunter or Karen Kingsbury series you mentioned. Thanks for sharing.
yes to The Heart’s Charge! I have the third one in this series on my TBR for October. I love More Than Words Can Say, too!!
We have similar tastes for historical westerns 🙂
Ooh, yes, Called to Protect was so good!
I love a lot of Lynette's books.
Shattered sounds so good 💙

I loved In Too Deep!
My fave of the series, even though I love the whole series.

I would say they are similar in pace to the If I Run series.

Yes give it a go. I wasn't a fan of Derek and Ivy either and gave book 1 3.5 stars.

@@leelovetoread @JaneReads Thank you both! That makes me much more confident about continuing with this series.
@@JaneReads I rated it a 3, which is pretty close, so it sounds like there's a really good chance I'll like the rest of the series more.
