- Welcome back to Far Cry 6. For this video, I decided to run around the map and clear some outposts. I feel like they improved a lot when it comes to the gameplay with this installment. I'm liking how the bases have more variety to them over past games. A lot of indoors and close combat and alarms hidden in buildings so you can't effectively just snipe everything from range, forcing you to push in and deal with it

But even this game can be cheesed with snipers as most enemies in outposts are still just standing outside or somewhere where they are easily picked off.

Fun fact: sometimes you’re able to knock enemies down by sliding into them, allowing you to do a takedown on them, it’s a bit hard to pull off but I was able to do a couple of these slide knockdowns in my play through (5 or 6)
Yeah I found out by accident! Knocked 2 enemies to the ground at the same time and finished them with a shotgun blast!

There's also a piece for a gunslinger takedown (Gloves: Prisoner's wrap), and with the impact gloves you can arm an enemy with their own grenade during a takedown

Far cry is so badass. Love the machete kills and how beautiful the game looks. Farcry3 will forever be GOATED but 6 ain’t bad

Far Cry 2 is the best, personally. I love the limited hud and having to use the in game map. No skills or crazy takedowns. But still had the sandbox and intense gameplay. Cool story too. Loved the sections where you ran into the jackal

@@alejandrosalazar1747 The only thing I know for certain is that he's using some of the parkour outfit, since I'm using the same items and the speed boosts are amazing.
Most likely the parkour outfit with the prisoner's mask and a speedy spaghetti camp chef buff. The pistol may be the desert eagle (I also use that as my primary snipe gun), not sure about the rifle, don't think it's the 50 cal...but could be. Mods don't matter as long as you have a decent silencer, scope and armor-piercing ammo. Headshots kill all...just like the machete. The prisoner's mask is a must though..that scarf is so broken it makes every mission easy-peasy.

If you've played through the story far enough. It's the first cover takedown you do.

Sometimes it flows smoothly, sometimes it's impossible to pull yourself up on the side of a building. It varies. Lol
You can abuse the perk that boosts your speed while reloading too, always let 2 weapons with incomplete mags, reload any of them, and before the reload animation completes, switch to the other weapon and repeat the process....your character flies around the map lmao, and stacks with other speed perks too
where can I find that boost perk?

Aaah, what this game proves is that over the years the man has only perfected new ways to kill. Everything else that's changing is basically the scenery (usually for the worse).
The brutality in this game is some other level shit.

@@uselessg4mer376 Could be transmogged but the effect on the gloves is also very powerful as it greatly reduces weapon sway, which is great for sniping.
Really wish they added detailed wounds in this game!

This kind of video is a great help to me in terms of deciding if I'm going to buy a game. In this case, it's pushed me to not wanting to buy it. Not because Swifty hasn't made an excellent video, but because I've now seen it played by somebody of great ability and it wasn't enough to make me want to play it myself. To be clear, the blame for this falls squarely on the game and not the player. There's nothing about it beyond cosmetics that appeals in the same way that 4 and to a lesser extent 5 did.

@@dustinsholler3826 I appreciate that you get a choice about how to approach the game, but it doesn't look like it's moved on in gameplay terms since the last two. I'll watch more videos of the game, but it's certainly not something I think I want to shell out top dollar on. I'm happy to wait for a price drop - and if that takes a year or two, then so be it.

Videos like this make me wish that Far Cry 6 was actually good, like Far Cry 5. This game feels like a serious step back, especially with the RPG mechanics and presentation.
The only RPG mechanic that I liked was the skill tree and that's no where to be seen in 6.

Also, love the gear combo and loadout. I love those shorts, they combine great with the "Tech" speed crouching shoes. Instead of sniper i use ms16 rifle with 4x acoustic and resolver silncer n a grenade launcher with emp rounds. I don't use any other supremo. Would love to see a high aggro/chaos run with loud weapons.

I too like the dragunov svd as a suppressed sniper, but personally for a stealth handgun, the 1911 felt like it hit harder. But you do you man

There's a detail in fc6, doing knife takedowns is adding blood stains on player clothes, I don't think this detail was in previous far cry games

He’s likely using the full Parkour set, which increases movement speed after sliding. Coupled with the perk that lets you run even faster while reloading you can go stupid fast

the fact that he does all these stunts and stuff with slippers is terrifying
what are your thoughts on farcry 6? Somehow it is very confusing, every few meters enemy soldiers and enemy bases and positions everywhere. sometimes so close together that you alert the surrounding positions if you actually wanted to penetrate because of something completely different. quite stressful and confusing. for me stealth is hardly possible. Most of the time, everyone sees me as if with an x-ray. and enemies are pouring in from all four sides. restless and hectic. farcry 4 was the last real farcry. I always kept the overview. weapons were all useful. animals were terrific. You could actually enter a Base by stealth and kill Them one By one . They started searching you and you we're able to hide , Hit and hide again.

in farcry 6 everything seems so overloaded that it kills me. If I dare to venture out, I am fired from all sides oermanently.

It is like the easiest far cry ever. Theres no challenge on any moment. I love the upgrades and the setting of the game, but it need a more difficult mode
I turned on that hard mode and took off many HUD elements. Included detection meters. Makes it more tactical having to listen to callouts to see if anyone heard you
