If this person felt that you were important enough to them that they became your family through paperwork or creation, they should have enough love and respect for you to treat you like the number one family member in your life.

Of course I can go on a girls trip while being in a relationship and my boyfriend on a boys trip. To try to prohibit something like that without any reasonable reason leads to a toxic relationship. You gotta trust each other!

A woman in a long-term relationship should not be going on any trips with a whole bunch of female friends. Especially if they're single. Trips with family, couples trips, are completely acceptable.
